Sana: Where are Libya and Algeria?
Taku: I think Northern Africa.
Moka: Please stop the foolish conversation.
Rito: This is because Taku butted in... Sana, can you understand if I say Libya is to the west of Egypt?
Sana: I see. So Tunisia is west of west of Egypt.
Neon: But Tunisia isn’t as large as Egypt, Libya, and Algeria. From the southernmost of Tunisia, national border of Libya and Algeria continue to south direction.
Moka: That’s surprising. I have thought Africa is made up of large countries.
Taku: How large is Tunisia?
Rito: It is approximately 164,000 square kilometers, twice of Hokkaido.

Sana: How scenery in Tunisia is. Let me image search...wow! I like this scenery! I was imagining scenes with more sand.
Rito: You know Northern Africa is famous for Sahara Desert. In Egypt and Libya, most of the country is desert, but in Tunisia, southern half only of the country is desert.
Moka: You said only “southern half only” but...

Rito: Airplane. There are some international airports in Tunisia, in the capital Tunis and others. But its no direct flight from Japan, and we are required to transfer at Europe.
Neon: It can't be helped that it takes time.
Moka: Rather than the mere passing of time, I am afraid long time sitting in airplanes. It takes over 10 hours, right? I was very tired only 1 hour at junior high school trip.
Sana: To Europe takes over 10 hours, furthermore, we need transfer.

Moka: Then, is English spoken in Tunisia.

Neon: If you use business class, the seat can lay to full-flat, depend on airplane company.

Sana: That measn 1,200,000 yen! Moka! Don’t waste too much money for 14 hours! Toughen up your body and spirit!
Moka: How can I do it?
Sana: You can get stronger at gym. The mental training... at the temple?
Neon: Because there are no City-run gym, in case private gym, 4,000 – 5,000 yen per month may be needed.
Rito: A temple lodging include monastic training probably costs 100,000 yen for a week.

理人「アフリカの北部ですね。具体的にはリビアとアルジェリアの間です」
佐奈「リビアとアルジェリアがどこにあるんだよ」

萌果「ねぇそのバカな会話をやめてくれない？」
理人「拓空君が割って入るからですよ……リビアが、エジプトの西隣と言えば分かるでしょうか」
佐奈「あ、なるほどな。じゃあエジプトの左の左がチュニジアか」
嶺音「ただチュニジアは、エジプト・リビア・アルジェリアほど国土は広くなく、チュニジアの最南端から更に南方向に、リビアとアルジェリアの国境がずっと続いています」
萌果「そうなのね。アフリカって広い国ばかり並んでいるものだと思ってたわ」
拓空「チュニジアの面積ってどんくらいなんだ？」
理人「16万平方キロメートル強、だいたい北海道の2倍ですね」
佐奈「広っ！ それでもアフリカじゃ小さい方なんだな」
嶺音「特に北部は大きな国が多いですからね。エジプト・リビア・アルジェリアは100万平方キロメートル以上ですし」
佐奈「どんな雰囲気なんだろ。画像検索、っと。 うお！ 結構オシャレな海辺の街じゃんか。もっと砂砂してるもんだと思ってたぜ」
理人「スナスナってなんですか……確かにアフリカ北部と言えばサハラ砂漠ですが、国土の大半が砂漠のエジプトやリビアとは異なり、チュニジアは南半分だけです」
萌果「南半分が砂漠ってだけでも十分だけどね」
拓空「というか“アフリカ北部と言えばサハラ砂漠”って前提が俺と佐奈にはないんだけど？」
理人「それでも英語研究部ですか」
佐奈「おい拓空てめぇ私を巻き込むなよ」
萌果「知ってたの？」
佐奈「知ってるワケねーだろ？」
拓空「じゃあ一緒じゃねーか！」
理人「不毛な会話をやめてください。とにかく、砂漠は南半分だけで、北半分、特に海辺に人口が集中しているんです」
嶺音「写真は観光地なのかも知れませんが、海辺に大きなオアシスを作ったような街ですね」
佐奈「異国情緒もバッチリじゃないか」
萌果「砂漠地帯の方にはそれっぽい、スナスナしてる遺跡とかもあるみたいね」
拓空「1つの国で2度おいしいってか。んじゃ行こうぜ」
佐奈「どうやったら行けるんだ？ チュニジア」
理人「飛行機でしょうね。首都チュニスを始め国際空港はいくつかありますが日本からの直行便はなく、ヨーロッパでの乗り継ぎが基本になります」
嶺音「時間が掛かってしまうのは仕方ないですね」
萌果「時間だけなら良いんだけど、飛行機のイスに座ったまま10時間以上でしょ？ 中学の修学旅行の1時間ちょっとでも結構しんどかったのに」
佐奈「10何時間も掛けてヨーロッパに行ってから、更に乗り継ぎだからな。タフだぜ」
拓空「でもそれでこそ世界、だろ？」
佐奈「まぁな。時間も体力も私ら英語研究部の敵じゃないぜ」
萌果「というかチュニジアって英語通じるの？」
嶺音「おそらくそれは望めないかと」
佐奈「なん、だと……！」
理人「チュニジアの公用語はアラビア語で、あとはフランス語も通じやすいようですが英語は厳しいですね」
佐奈「じゃあ私はどうやってチュニジア人と友達になればいいんだ？」
萌果「覚えなさいよアラビア語とフランス語を。世界中に友達100万人作るんでしょ？ 絶対どっちも必要になるわよ」
拓空「でもそれでこそ世界、だろ？」
佐奈「フッまぁな。この私の言語習得に特化した脳ミソを活用する場面が来たようだ」
嶺音「あとは時間とお金の工面が必要ですが」
佐奈「時間は大学生になりゃいくらでもできるさ」
萌果「お金はどうするの？」
拓空「そもそもいくら掛かるんだ？」
理人「航空会社のサイトに入力してみましょう。8月に東京から、チュニスの空港を目指すとして……エコノミークラスでも往復で60万～80万円ですね」
佐奈「60万！？」
拓空「値段の幅デカくないか？」
嶺音「見たところ、イスタンブール空港経由の場合フランクフルト空港経由より高くなるようです」
萌果「2種類あるのね。えっと……トルコとドイツ？ それで、肝心の乗車時間は？」
佐奈「いやカネの方が大事だろ。60万だぞ」
拓空「黙って聞けよ佐奈。嶺音様が調べてくれてるんだぞ」
理人「端末の操作は僕がやってるんですけどね……」
嶺音「手柄を奪ってしまってすみません。乗車時間の方は……東京、羽田発も成田発もありますが、そこからイスタンブールやフランクフルトが14時間前後、それらからチュニスが2時間半から3時間ほどになりますね」
萌果「合計17時間！？」
理人「ついでに、乗り継ぎの待ち時間も大抵の便で3時間はあります」
佐奈「なんだって！？」
萌果「乗り継ぎは良いわよ。飛行機から降りて歩き回れるんでしょ？」
嶺音「それはそうですが、どうしても待ち時間というイメージが強くなってしまいますね」
拓空「60万もさることながら、1日掛かりの移動ってのもヤベぇな」
理人「宿泊費もお忘れなく。1泊3万円で考えると、1週間の滞在で20万円を超えます」
佐奈「なんてこった！」
萌果「それより問題は飛行機内の14時間と3時間をどうやって乗り切るかよ」
嶺音「ビジネスクラスであれば、航空会社によりますがフルフラットにもできるでしょう」
理人「ですが値段が凄いのでは……少し座席が良くなるプレミアムエコノミーは片道で5~10万円のプラス、そしてビジネスクラスは……ほぼ2倍ですね」
佐奈「120万！ おい萌果！ たかだか14時間の快適のために大金を使うもんじゃねえ！ 体かメンタルを鍛えろ！」
萌果「どうやって鍛えるっていうのよ」
佐奈「体はジムに行け。メンタルは……寺とか？」
嶺音「この辺りには市営のジムがありませんから民間で……月4~5千円が相場でしょうか」
理人「そして修行体験のできる宿坊は、1週間で10万円を見ておいた方がいいでしょう」
萌果「120万かけてビジネスクラス乗った方がマシじゃない！」
拓空「待て萌果！ そもそも修行に金をかけるな！ 筋トレもメンタルトレーニングもどこだってできるさ！」
佐奈「そうだ！ 私たちはこの体1つで、どんなことだって出来るんだ！」
萌果「イヤ！ 修行するのも14時間イスに座りっぱなしもイヤ！ 私は世界をまたに活躍するキャリアウーマンになるの！ 120万ぐらいすぐに稼いでやるわ！」
嶺音「……ところで、長時間飛行機に乗ることができない状況で、どうやって世界をまたに活躍するキャリアウーマンになるのですか？」
