Experimental Results and Reflections（実験結果と反省）
As you know, what I did was what is known as "imprinting."
（ご存知の通り、私が行ったのは、いわゆる「刷り込み」というものです。）
I attempted to temporarily erase a person's self-identity through external influence and then forcibly transfer a temporary personality from the outside.
（人の自己同一性を、外部からの働きかけにより一時的に消滅させ、その後に仮の人格を外部から強制的に移し込むよう試みました。）
I hypothesized that this would allow for the formation of a new, separate personality.
（私は、そうすることで新たな別人格を形成できると推測しました。）
Unfortunately, however, the result was inconclusive, as the subject fled.
（しかし残念ながら、結果は被験者の逃亡という形で、不明に終わりました。）
Humans likely possess a latent personality.
（人間には、おそらく潜在的な人格というものがあるのでしょう。）
In my experiment, I was only able to erase superficial memories; I couldn't eliminate the person's entire personality.
（今回の私の実験では、表面上の記憶を消滅させるだけで、その人の全人格を取り除くことは出来ませんでした。）
However, only N himself knows the current state of his mental state after his escape.
（しかし、逃亡したNの精神状態が、現時点でいかなるものに陥っているのか、それはN本人しか知り得ません。）
Or perhaps N himself is unaware of the changes in his own mind.
（あるいはN本人もまた、自身の心の変化に気づいていないのかも知れません。）
This requires further investigation.
（これについては、再度調査する必要があります。）
