  ................

1) The composition of consciousness

It may be preposterous, but consciousness is presumed to consist of the superposition of two sorts of consciousness.

Consciousness = Physical consciousness & Non-physical consciousness

(By the way, it is assumed here that being an entity that is embodied by energy is "physical". What is embodied by energy is inevitably physical.

On the other hand, it is assumed that not being an entity that is embodied by energy is "non-physical". What is not embodied by energy, if there is such a thing, is inevitably non-physical. And, moreover, "non-physical" is assumed to be equivalent to "ideological". Those non-physical (that are not embodied by energy) are ideas. Ideas are always non-physical).

a) Physical consciousness (The true form of consciousness)

Physical consciousness is formed from the bodily sensing action --the sourece is the fundamental measurement among matter actions-- and the thinking action --the sourece is the fundamental computation among matter actions-- that are entities embodied by energy. Physical consciousness is the spontaneous, independent, and active action itself of consciousness, and is a first person subject. And, physical consciousness is the physical true form and the core of consciousness. (Matter actions that are inherent in matter and continue to work spontaneously are the source of every first person subject).

b) Non-physical consciousness (Me as an ideological being)

Non-physical consciousness is a thing like a shadow, projection, reverberation, trace, or monitor of the work (movement) of the action of physical consciousness. It is not embodied by energy, not an entity embodied by energy, and non-physical (= ideological). It is passive and static about movement, and like a scalar. And, it's a single huge, comprehensive, and integrate idea. And, non-physical consciousness, since it is an idea, passive, and static, is a third person object as expected like substances that are third person objects.

However, this is me as an ideological being. And, it is speculated that the impression of movement we feel --the impression of living-- is brought as a thing like continuous projection of many still images by external driving force. However, at any rate, non-physical consciousness is like a shadow or monitor, a thing like a scalar, or a third person object, static, and passive. Non-physical consciousness of me as an ideological being doesn't have spontaneity, independency, and activeness.

2) (Digression) Physical consciousness, non-physical consciousness, and the philosophical zombie

By the way, the work of matter actions inherent in matter iss completed instantaneously (probably without taking time).

(For this reason, it seems that the work of matter actions doesn't become sluggish, in consequence, what is like a shadow, projection, or reverberation is not generated, and ideological senses (and consciousness) do not emerge in matter.

(However, it is not unthinkable that there is a possibility that what are like physical ideas arise in no time also in matter. It is because the measured results by the fundamental measurement about extrinsic physical influence are scalars and ideas, and, moreover, the computed results by the fundamental computation are also scalars and ideas. Even though they do not continue in the lapse of time, such ideas may arise in some form. However, it may be possible that no results are given one by one, and the very work of matter actions semantically implies the ideas)).

On the contrary, if we suppose here that, in material consciousness and consciousness of living things, the measuring (bodily sensing) action and the computing (thinking) action are completed instantaneously in no time and not prolonged, then it follows that ideological senses, such as bodily senses and senses of thought, do not occur in also in them. And, non-physical consciousness that is an ideological being do not emerge in their consciousness. It follows that their consciousness consists of only physical consciousness.

Then, substances and living things in this situation are like the philosophical zombie. This is because, anyway, non-physical consciousness that is an ideological being does not emerge.

However, nevertheless, they can act splendidly as substances or living things in which hon-physical (= ideological) consciousness does not emerge. This is because hon-physical consciousness as an ideological being is like a completely passive and inert monitor and it doesn't have spontaneity, independency, and activeness. And because every physical and active work of consciousness is fulfilled quite physically and automatically in physical consciousness based on spontaneity, independency, and activeness of matter actions as first person objects.

(By the way, even though non-physical consciousness as an ideological being doesn't emerge in a philosophical zombie, physical consciousness must necessarily emerge in it. This is because, information gathering and thinking as the grounds for substances or an organism to move integrately and cooperatively, in the direction of forming and maintaining their own overall physical order, as a single integrate body --so to speak, quantum--, are indispensable, but they are fulfilled only in physical consciousness.

On the contrary, comprehensive and large information gathering and thinking can never be fulfilled in an aggregate of substances that are third person objects and completely inert externally. No matter how highly the aggregate is organized --programmed--, comprehensive and large information gathering and thinking are never be fulfilled in a macroscopic (external) facet of substances.

Moreover, for substances to move (cooperatively) based on large thinking, they must violate kinetic interactions and the fundamental interactions that work on substances externally (macroscopically). It is expected that there lurks a potential and serious problem for physics here. And, it seems that the physical mechanism (or, framework) of organisms development can never be explained fully unless this problem is solved --at the least, a degree of prospect of explanation is made--.

Furthermore, this is deeply involved in the question of free will. This is because free will also implies that substances move based on thinking. Substances in a neuron also move being influenced by thinking. (If a neuron dies, the neural consciousness immediately disappears and thinking also comes ot a stop, so the movement of substances halts on the spot).

By the way, this universe is said to be about 13.7 billion years old, and, all throughout that time, including space, matter actions, which are the true form of every substance that exists in this universe, keep on operating without rest. The same is the case also with the substances that form our bodies and consciousness.

3) (Note) Entity and idea

A) Entity

An entity is a being that is embodied by enery. It's physical. And, there seem to be two sorts of entities, material entity and immaterial entity.

a-1) A material entity is, so to speak, matter. However, the true nature of matter is matter actions inherent in matter, and the matter itself is just a trace actually left by the work of matter actions, a thing like a scalar, and static. A material entity is a third person object that doesn't move externally on its own, perfectly inert about external movement, and perfectly passive. A material entity can move externally for the first time when it is involved in some fundamental interaction passively. The macroscopic laws of physics are applicable to material entities.

a-2) Matter actions that are the true nature of matter (alone) are immaterial entities. Matter actions move always internally in the internal space of matter --are always on standby-- and never halt. There are matter actions of dealing with entities that are physical and matter actions of dealing with ideas that are non-physical among matter actions. The macroscopic laws of physics are not applicable to immaterial entities --matter actions--.

By the way, matter actions of dealing with entities are as follows.

 Superstring's fundamental oscillation

 Wave-particle duality

 Energy respiration

 Gauge bosons radiation

 Fundamental interactions

Kinetic interactions (Newton's laws of motion)

 Electromagnetic wave's flight

 Oscillation of matter itself (Temperature)

 Thermal radiation

 Nuclear fusion and nuclear fission

 Chemical synthesis and chemical decomposition

 Fundamental acceptance (Supposition)

 Fundamental operation (Supposition)

And, matter actions of dealing with ideas are as follows.

 Fundamental measurement (Supposition)

 Fundamental computation (Supposition)

Logically, what brings a material entity that is a static trace --matter actions, viz. the cause / source / parent of a material entity-- cannot be a material entity. And, the macroscopic laws of physics cannot be applicable to them. Rather, immaterial entities --matter actions-- are the source of the macroscopic laws of physics.

B) Idea

An idea seems to be a thing like a shadow or trace of the movement of matter actions that are the true nature of a material entity (what is called matter) and non-physical entities.

Bodily sensations, senses of thought, and qualia --texture accompanying senses-- felt by consciousness are ideas. And, non-physical consciousness formed from innumerable ideas (me as an ideological being) is also an idea.

Ideas are not physical. Ideas alone are not physical in this universe. (However, even though ideas are just things like static shadows or traces that appear instantaneously in the lapse of time, it's a surprise that what are non-physical emerge in a physical world of this universe).

4) The spontaneous and independent movement (work) of a living thing

The movement of a living body such as a cell, tissue, or organ seems to be the collaboration between the living body as a single integrate substance and the consciousness emerging in it. In a living body, material movement is exactly fulfilled. And, in consciousness, ideological work to control the material movement of a living body. The ideological work in consciousness consists of information gathering about the physical influence of physical events that occur inside and outside a living body and designing of the living body's movement at the next moment based on the gathered information.

(Substances composing a living body move on their own according to this design (thought). Substances cannot help doing so. This is because, if they don't do so, the spontaneous and independent movement of a living body (living thing) that bases on thoughts will never be realized.

(By the way, almost every motion and deed is realized by the work of muscle. This is also the case with mental deeds such as speaking, writing, playing the musical instrument, drawing a picture, etc. that clearly have no choice but to base on thoughts. In short, almost every motion and deed of animals almost necessarily base on thoughts. The movement of substances in autonomous organs also bases on the (ideological / mental) design by its consciousness).

However, this means that the movement of substances composing a living body cannot help violating the fundamental interactions in appearance. This is extremely serious.

However, if the internal space of a living body becomes microscopic in an aspect specific to the living body, the violation of the fundamental interactions can be avoided. This is because, (though the very fundamental interactions are microscopic actions essentially inherent in matter), but they act on between multiple matter externally (macroscopically) and do not work inside a single quantum (microscopically).

And, this means that the whole living body is like an extremely peculiar quantum. (In a physical world of this universe, what has unity, integrateness, and comprehensiveness as a single physical being is only a quantum). That is expected strongly. For this reason, the living body seems to be a new form of evolution of matter. (However, on Earth, unicellular organisms were already born about 3.5 billion years ago, so that has already been realized)).

5) Consciousness of a cell and consciousness of a tissue or organ

Consciousness of living things seems to emerge from the stage of microbes or cells. The consciousness at this stage is formed from matter actions (of dealing with ideas) of innumerable substances composing the living body. That is to say, consciousness at the cellular stage is formed directly from substances.

For this reason, bodily sensation perceived at the cellular stage may be placed as, so to speak, "bodily sensation caused by substances" or "material bodily sensation".

(By the way, a sense is an idea. The bodily sensing action equipped in living body's consciousness inputs only ideas and deals with ideas only. By the way, what are input by a cell as to physical events inside and outside are values of physical influence --force and energy-- caused by the physical events. A value is an idea and never matter. So a value can be input by the bodily sensing action as an ideological action (and the thinking action) and processed).

And, it seems that, also in a tissue or organ formed from a lot of cells, a single compound consciousness over the whole is formed, but, unlike a cell, it seems that the overall consciousness is not formed directly from substances, but formed from a lot of consciousness of low-ranking cells. (This overall consciousness controls the movement of the whole living body).

For this reason, it is surmised that the material and extremely minute bodily sensation caused by physical events in cells is no longer contained in the bodily sensation perceived by high-ranking consciousness, and it is formed only from thought results in a lot of cells.

It is speculated that the bodily sensation perceived by a cell originated in the physical events inside and outside --so to speak, information about physical events inside and outside-- will be processed at the cellular stage --will become the basis for computing about cellular physical order--, and will no longer be perceived by high-ranking large consciousness. Moreover, it seems that the physical events at the cellular stage would be too small for the high-ranking consciousness. This also is one of reasons.

In other words, to the high-ranking consciousness, the information about physical events is not handed as an input to its bodily sensing action, but the thought results at the low-ranking consciousness become the input to the bodily sensing action of in the high-ranking consciousness. And, that further become the input --the seed for thinking-- to the succeeding thinking action.

The bodily sensation perceived by the high-ranking consciousness may be placed as, so to speak, "bodily senses as thought" or "senses of thought".

For this reason, it may be that, in high-ranking consciousness, it is set free from the control of material movements inside cells as the base, and purely ideological (mental) computation can be performed.

(The work of the subjective consciousness of we humans is exactly promoted to such one purely mental. However, every mental work of the animal brain is realized by the movement of innumerable cells. It is so strange).

Depending on this, it is conjectured that the formational aspects of the consciousness at the cellular stage and the high-ranking compound consciousness differ.

And, also the brain, though it is a special organ that controls the whole body's movement, is one of organs. And, in the brain, subjective consciousness emerges as the uppermost one, but that is presumed to be formed from lots of low-ranking sub-consciousness.

And, it seems that the aspect of consciousness formation ---- come under each layer in the brain if its hierarchical structure is (probably) multiplex like consciousness in the brain.

And, the living body's movement is the collaboration between the very living body and its consciousness, but, in that, if the cellular consciousness disappears through some cause, the movement of substances at the next moment will not be designed and immediately substances come to a standstill. That is to say, the disappearance of consciousness directly means the death of the cell. Conversely, consciousness at the cellular stage continues to emerge and doesn't sleep as long as the cell is alive.

However, the high-ranking consciousness of a tissue or organ may disappear (sleep) if the activity of the living body falls below a certain threshold. Since their consciousness is not formed directly from substances, even if their consciousness disappears temporarily, the very living body will not die. It's enough if only low-ranking cells are alive at the least. Especially, it's conjectured that so is also the case with the aspect of the subjective consciousness of the animal's brain.

6) A sketch from actions inherent in matter to the work of consciousness

i) The flow of the work of actions in matter

The extrinsic (macroscopic) influence caused by the passive involvement of matter in the fundamental interactions

(The extrinsic influence is transmission or exchange of force or energy).

= Input to the measuring action of matter

The measuring action of matter (Supposition)

(The measuring action of matter evaluates the extrinsic influence matter receives. Since only the values of influence are read, it is an ideological action. So to speak, this comes under information gathering about the physical influence matter receives).

= Input to the computing action of matter

The computing action of matter (Supposition)

(The computing action of matter computes the matter's state at the next moment or the work it has to fulfills. (This comes under the design of physical order of matter itself at the next moment). An ideological action. And, the result of computing action is referred by the matter's operating action, and the result is put into operation concretely).

= Input to the operating action of matter

(However, this computing action is also a supposition. However, still, since matter --elementary particles. includes superstrings and space-- is the foundation of physical being in this universe, matter itself has no choice but to fulfill the work required. At this level, there are no others who fulfill the work as substitutes of matter. Moreover, there are no laws of physics as entities that practically put the laws into effect. The laws of physics prescribe various physical movements in this universe, but are just ideas provisionally formulated by humans. Rather, the work of actions inherent in matter is the source of practical putting of the laws of physics into effect).

The operating action of matter (Supposition)

(The operating action of matter practically realizes the results (designs) of the computing action --the designed outcome about the matter's state at the next moment and the work to fulfill-- based on the results. (This corresponds to the realization of (dynamic) physical order of matter itself at the next moment)).

(The combination of the measuring action, the computing action, and the operating action corresponds to "internal measurement". And the internal measurement is indispensable for the completion of the work of fundamental interactions. The internal measurement and the fundamental interactions are complementary each other. The fundamental interactions work on matter externally (macroscopically), but the internal measurement (microscopically) operates inside the matter that receives the work of fundamental interactions. Furthermore, the internal measurement cannot be dispense with the realization of autopoiesis --self-production / spontaneous, independent, and active production of one's own advanced and dynamic physical order--).

ii) The formation and the work of consciousness of microbes, unicellular organisms, and cells

In a single small living body such as a cell, etc., the measuring actions inherent in innumerable constituent substances fuse into one through the reduction of entopy production rate, and form a single huge measuring action. Moreover, the computing actions also fuse into one, and form a single huge computing action. The huge measuring action is promoted to the bodily sensing action. The huge computing action is promoted to the thinking action. The combination of this huge bodily sensing action and this huge thinking action becomes consciousness of a cell, etc.

(Both the bodily sensing action and the thinking action must essentially be huge. This is because both of them have to operate over numerous (innumerable) quanta (substances)).

At a stage of small living bodies such as cells, etc., their consciousness are directly formed from actions (of dealing with ideas) inherent in matter.

And, the bodily senses perceived at a stage of living bodies such as cells, etc., since they are directly brought from physical events inside and outside, are bodily senses originating in matter (material bodily senses).

By the way, in a cell, even though it doesn't receive special external influence --physical influence from the physical events occurring outside--, as long as it is alive, physical consciousness emerges and the basal metabolism is fulfilled. (Basal metabolism is to generate heat intermittently. Even though production or restoration of a cell is not being done, at the least, it is necessary to generate heat intermittently. This is because, originating in this heat, the physical event of the reduction of entopy production rate occurs, physical consciousness continues, and the cell can survive). This state is the minimum state of physical consciousness of a cell. It emerges, is on standby, and idle (except fulfilling basal metabolism intermittently).

iii) The formation of consciousness of multicellular organisms, tissues, and organs

In huge compound living bodies such as multicellular organisms, tissues, organs, etc., huge bodily sensing actions of consciousness of numerous constituent cells or tissues fuse into one through the reduction of entropy production rate, and form a more huge bodily sensing action. Moreover, huge thinking actions fuse into one, and form a more huge thinking action. The combination of these huge thinking action and huge thinking action becomes the high-ranking consciousness of a large living body such as an organ, etc.

At the stage of compound living bodies such as organs, etc., their high-ranking consciousness are formed from many low-ranking sub-consciousness.

The bodily senses perceived by the high-ranking consciousness seem to be the thought outcome in the low-ranking sub-consciousness. The thought outcome in the low-ranking sub-consciousness becomes the input to the bodily sensing action of the high-ranking consciousness.

The bodily senses perceived by the high-ranking consciousness are bodily senses as thoughts (senses of thought).

iv) The flow of the work of subjective consciousness in the human (animal) brain

Thought results in low-ranking consciousness of brain's base cells

= Ideas of thought

= Input to the bodily sensing action

The bodily sensing action of subjective physical consciousness

Evaluated results of the input (ideas of thought) by the bodily sensing action

|――――――――→ Bodily senses (ideas of thought)

| = Guests / others

The thinking action of subjective physical consciousness

Thought results by the thinking action (Ideas of thought)

= Input to the operating actions of base

  substances of physical consciousness

= The source of the senses of thought

(ideas of thought) that occur in non-physical

  consciousness

|――――――――→ The senses of thought in

| non-physical consciousness (ideas

| of thought)

The operating actions of base substances of physical consciousness

The thought results by the thinking action of subjective physical consciousness are referred by (the operating actions equipped in) substances of constituent cells of physical consciousness, and become the specification (instructions) for the material (macroscopic) movement of those substances.

v) The bodily sensing action of the physical consciousness

Physical events inside and outside the living bodies such as the brain, cells, etc. become the input to the bodily sensing action of their physical consciousness.

And, the work of the bodily sensing action of physical consciousness brings bodily senses in non-physical consciousness.

These bodily senses, because they are brought originated in physical events inside and outside, are, in a word, guests and others.

Moreover, the work of the bodily sensing action of physical consciousness seems to activate the thinking action of physical consciousness --become the input of the thinking action of physical consciousness--.

vi) The thinking action of the physical consciousness

It seems that the thinking action of physical consciousness of living bodies such as the brain, cells, etc. is activated by the movement of preceding bodily sensing action.

And, the work of this bodily sensing action brings (senses of) thoughts in non-physical consciousness.

By the way, multifarious thinking patterns are formed in the thinking action of physical consciousness, but they vary greatly depending on people and are unique to each individual.

For this reason, the very thinking action of physical consciousness seems to be mine. The thinking action of physical consciousness is me. The thinking action of physical consciousness is the physical true form of me as an ideological being and my core.

(By the way, there is no free will in a strict sense, and patterns formed in the brain, being affected by various extrinsic contingencies in this world, move perfectly physically and automatically. Moreover, patterns are also formed perfectly physically and automatically, being affected contingencies and following the computaion (design) at the corresponding partial physical consciousness.

And, a pattern can, in a sense, be regarded as a function. And, in a function, even though its function is fixed to some extent, if the input differs, the output also differs. And this world is a world of overwhelming contingencies. A living body is always exposed to the overwhelming contingencies inside and outside it. The situation and state in which a living body is placed always change and are always new. For this reason, the output --bodily sensation / (senses of) thoughts-- from the patterns of physical consciousness inputting overwhelming contingencies also always changes. Thereby, our activities based on the output from patterns, even though they are roughly the same in the big framework at the upper level, are always inevitably new in detail.

By the way, moreover, the fact that this world is a world of overwhelming contingencies and the fact that the output from patterns of a living body's physical consciousness are always affected by contingencies seem to be the origin or source of newness. Our activities and what we produce are always new).

vii) The composition of subjective consciousness in the human (animal) brain

My consciousness

= My physical consciousness (Physical core

    of my consciousness)

& My non-physical consciousness (Me as

    an ideological being)

Physical consciousness is formed from actions of deling with ideas among matter actions which are entities embodied by energy and the true nature (true form) of matter. Non-physical consciousness is like a shadow, projection, reverberation, trace, or monitor of the movement of physical consciousness. Consciousness is formed in an aspect where non-physical consciousness superposes on physical consciousness.

My consciousness

= The ultimate me (The core of my

    consciousness)

+ Extended part of my consciousness

The ultimate me (The core of my consciousness)

= Physical consciousness of the ultimate

me (The physical core / true form of

    the ultimate me)

  & Non-physical consciousness of the

ultimate me (The ultimate me as

    an ideological being)

Extended part of my consciousness

= Physical consciousness of the extended

    part of my consciousness

  & Non-physical consciousness of the

    extended part of my consciousness

viii) The ultimate me (and the belonging of thoughts)

The ultimate me is the consciousness when subjective consciousness is awake, on standby, and idle. The ultimate me is the minimum state of the subjective consciousness.

When the subjective consciousness is in the minimum state, in the brain, metabolism sufficient only for the subjective consciousness to wake up --so to speak, basal metabolism of the ultimate me-- has been fulfilled. Regardless of bodily motions or thoughts, physical events or thoughts that need to be specifically coped with have not occurred, and the bodily sensing action is almost idle. For this reason, the thinking action that is activated by the occurrence of bodily sensation is also almost idle, and meaningful thoughts have not occurred.

However, still, the subjective consciousness in a minimum state --the ultimate me-- continues to see the occurrence of senses --bodily senses and (senses of) thoughts--. In a word, the ultimate me is the one who sees. The subjective consciousness in a state where it only sees the occurrence of senses is the ultimate me.

(In the first place, the measuring action essentially inherent in matter is the source of the bodily sensing action of consciousness. This measuring action reads the physical influence --change in force or energy-- matter receives, and, in the first place, the work of "seeing" is provided in matter that is the base of the physical world of this unicerse. (However, the real base is energy that directly embodies (the actions that are the true form of) matter). Matter always gathers the information --idea-- about the physical influence it receives).

If we take a closer look, when some meaningful physical events occur inside and outside the brain, the subjective consciousness shifts from the minimum state --state of the ultimate me-- to the state where thinking patterns corresponding to the occurred physical events are also activated. And, corresponding thoughts also occur. For this reason, the ultimate me sees also the occurrence of thoughts the moment bodily senses occur.

And, this is the usual mental state of we humans and animals. When physical events occurred, the ultimate me doesn't disappear, but shifts to larger and usual consciousness, so to speak, extended consciousness.

However, we may need to be a little careful about whether or not we consider the thoughts that arise accompanying to the occurrence of meaningful bodily sensatoin to be mine.

Thoughts that accompany to the bodily sensation are formed by the thinking patterns in the extended region of physical consciousness which is the true form of me. For this reason, that thoughts can also be regarded as having been thought by myself. However, for the ultimate me, who just sees, that thoughts are guests and others.

Moreover, consciousness emerges and disappears in the passage of time. This means that thoughts do not reside always in my consciousness. And, this thing connotes that thoughts are, rather, guests as expected. If senses and thoughts are part of the ultimate me, the ultimate me have to always be conscious of them, but that's never the case. Usually, senses and thoughts fade away fast becoming guests as expected after their occurrence, And, like the rapid flow of clouds, the next thoughts flow one after another and then leave again.

To discriminate whether thoughts are mine or others is delicate. However, even though thoughts are generated by the thinking patterns that are the true form of me, they are rich in a hue of others, and may be proper to be regarded as others as expected.

And, there seems to be some problem in equating oneself with the various thoughts that occur in one's consciousness. (The problem of equating oneself with thoughts may be explained psychologically or religiously). It may be desirable to regard oneself as the ultimate me as the one who just "sees" and not to equate oneself with thoughts. Then, we must be able to more objectively and moderately evaluate the thoughts that arise in us.

By the way, meaningful bodily senses have not arised in the subjective consciousness in a minimum state --the ultimate me--, and thoughts caused by them also have not arised. For this reason, the ultimate me is in a calm mental state.

And, moreover, it is surmised that the subtle and unconscious feeling or awareness that "this is me" has always arised. Naturally enought, this feeling has arised also in the ultimate me. This feeling is not a bodily sense, but a sense of thought brought by thinking, but it seems that the thinking patterns to make that arise are contained in the thinking action to fulfill the basal metabolism for the ultimate me. (Thereby, like basso continuo, the sense that "this is me" has always been unconsciously perceived by my consciousness).

The (physical) true form of subjective consciousness is the huge physical consciousness that is formed from many physical sub-consciousness that are formed in low-ranking living bodies in the brain.

Furthermore, the subjective consciousness as an ideological being is non-physical (= ideological) and emerges in an aspect of superposing on the subjective physical consciousness, as a shadow, projection, reverberation, trace, or monitor of the movement of the subjective physical consciousness. The subjective non-physical consciousness is a sense (= idea) itself, like a scalar, static, and passive. Spontaneity, independency, and activeness are not provided in the subjective non-physical consciousness. (It is the physical consciousness as the true form that has them).

ix) The extended part of my consciousness, bodily senses, and emotion or desire

The extended part of my consciousness corresponds to the thinking action other than the thinking action for the basal metabolism of the ultimate me. (On the contrary, it seems that the bodily sensing action will not be extended. In the bodily sensing action, its busy state comes under the extension). It seems that innumerable thinking patterns are formed in the neural networks in the brain, and, in the extended part of my consciousness, almost all thinking patterns that operate when our consciousness are busy are formed.

Since the thinking action is equipped in my physical consciousness, it belongs to me, and thoughts generated are also generally mine. (However, the judgement of the belonging of thoughts is delicate, and it seems to be proper that thoughts are, rather, regarded as others).

On the other hand, since the bodily senses occur caused by the physical events inside and outside, they are, rather, guests and others. The bodily senses are others.

Moreover, emotion and desire seem to be the combination of the bodily senses which are others (guests) and thoughts which are rich in a hue of others while appearing to belong to me.

For this reason, it may be proper that emotion and desire are considered to be others. At the least, they are not part of the ultimate me. In this respect, they are others for the ultimate me.

7) Two cases where consciousness is empty

It seems that, in the realm of religion, the sense and consciousness are of interest and supposed to be empty.

(For instance, there is the word (phrase) "color immediately empty". This seems to (tacitly) expresses officialy a teaching that "do not be attached strongly". However, rather, the very expression appears to express directly the fact that "the sense (and consciousness) are empty". The original main point of this phrase might had been this).

And, if it is evaluated from the point of view of the natural sciences, there roughly seem to be two cases of consciousness being empty.

I) Physical consciousness, even though it is an entity embodied by energy, is empty materially (macroscopically). And, non-physical consciousness is not even an entity embodied by energy and empty physically --ideological--.

II) Physical consciousness idle is empty in that its actions are not activated. (Nothing is processed). For this reason, non-physical consciousness as a shadow, projection, reverberation, trace, monitor, etc. of the work of physical consciousness is also empty about senses and thoughts.

  ................

I) Physical consciousness, even though it is an entity embodied by energy, is empty materially (macroscopically). And, non-physical consciousness is not even an entity embodied by energy and empty physically --ideological--.

I-a) Physical consciousness (The true form of consciousness)

Consciousness as an entity embodied by energy is what is called consciousness in a physical viewpoint. It's physical consciousness. It is formed from part of matter actions --the fundamental measurement and the fundamental computation of dealing with ideas-- that are the true nature of matter.

Even if it's a microbe or a cell, its physical consciousness is huge. This is because physical consciousness is formed from matter actions of innumerable substances. (And, because of this hugeness, it is presumed that the completion of the work of physical consciousness's actions takes time).

Physical consciousness is also the true identity of what is mistaken for (the source of) free will. However, it's not alive. Physical consciousness operates perfectly physically and automatically. Thinking is fulfilled perfectly physically and automatically by physical consciousness fundamentally. (So there is no free will).

Physical consciousness as an entity is the true form of consciousness. Senses as ideas do not arise in physical consciousness itself --at any rate, because physical consciousness formed from microscopic matter actions is quite physical and a thing like an immaterial machine--, but physical consciousness is the core of the being of consciousness. Non-physical consciousness cannot emerge unless physical consciousness is formed.

The very physical consciousness is not empty physically --because it is embodied by energy--, but empty materially (macroscopically). (What is called matter (substance) is just a trace of the work of microscopic actions inherent in matter. A trace is not the very matter).

I-b) Non-physical consciousness (Me as an ideological being)

Non-physical (= ideological) consciousness that is not an entity is speculated to emerge as a thing like a shadow, reverberation, trace, or monitor (that is projected in the lapse of time) of the movement of the work --the bodily sensing action and the thinking action-- fulfilled by physical consciousness. (This is because it seems that, since non-physical consciousness is morphologically huge, the completion of its actions takes time).

This consciousness, since it's like a shadow of the movement of entities --actions--, is not an entity and not physical. And, it doesn't have spontaneity, independency, and activeness and is passive and static. (The movement of non-physical consciousness seems to be the continuous playback of a lot of still pictures).

The being of non-physical consciousness owes to the formation of physical consciousness that is the core or foundation of consciousness. Non-physical consciousness cannot emerge unless physical consciousness is formed.

And, a thing like non-physical consciousness seems to be ideological. Those ideological are brought as a thing like a shadow, projection, reverberation, or trace of the work (movement) of actions that are entities embodied by energy and physical. For this reason, ideas are not embodied by energy, not entities embodied by energy, and non-physical.

Senses and qualia --texture accompanying senses-- that are felt by consciousness are also ideas. They are like shadows, projection, reverberation, or traces of the work (movement) of physical consciousness's action, and what occur at every moment seem to be standstill.

For example, assuming that many still images are generated continuously, even though each one is stationary, if they are projected continuously by external impellent, the whole of it can be misunderstood to move on its own. The impression that our consciousness (actively) moves and is alive seems to resemble this.

In a word, non-physical consciousness is a pure ideological body. And this seems to be me as an ideological being.

Me as an ideological being is fundamentally a thing like a shadow, projection, reverberation, trace, or monitor, a thing like a scalar, and a third person object, and static and passive. Me as an ideological being doesn't have spontaneity, independency, and activeness. (So there is no free will).

Physical consciousness is quite physical and like an immaterial machine. For this reason, even though its action works, ideas of sense do not occur in the very physical consciousness.

(By the way, physical consciousness is a huge integrated body having comprehensivity. And, great thinking action is fulfilled in this physical consciousness. For this reason, it doesn't seem to be strange that ideas of sense occur in the very physical consciousness. However, looking closer, since physical consciousness is quite physical, ideas of sense do not occur in itself.

From wind, the flow of water, rustling of the leaves, etc. down, around us, on Earth, and in this universe are full of all physical events. However, they are perfectly physically and automatically fulfilled by the work of matter actions, from the fundamental interactions down, like the movement of machines. And, consciousness (intelligence) doesn't emerge in those physical events, and ideas of sense do not occur.

(However, places where material consciousness (material intelligence) is presumed to emerge through the reduction of entropy production rate are exceptions. It is expected that, at such places, even though it's inanimate and insipid, senses occur and are felt by material consciousness).

In other words, senses do not occur in the very physical events (without material consciousness)).

And, it follows that, in this case, the non-physical consciousness --Me as an ideological being-- is empty. This is because non-physical consciousnes doesn't emerge as an entity embodied by energy, but emerges only as a thing like a shadow, projection, reverberation, trace, or monitor of the physical consciousness's entity (consciousness's action). Anyway, non-physical consciousness doesn't have an entity. And, bodily sensation and senses of thought also do not have an entity and are empty.

And, the phrase "color immediately empty" of Buddhism might had expressed this thing originally. "Color immediately empty" might had expressed that senses and non-physical consciousness of me as an ideological being do not have entities embodied by energy, and they are like shadows, projection, reverberation, or traces and empty physically and materially. And, if so, "color immediately empty" comes true. (And, "color immediately empty" exactly expresses such things literally by words). (And, it follows that the Buddhism teaching that "do not be attached strongly" as an interpretation of "color immediately empty", though favorable, might had been a forcible sophistry).

II) Physical consciousness idle is empty in that its actions are not activated. (Nothing is processed). For this reason, non-physical consciousness as a shadow, projection, reverberation, trace, monitor, etc. of the work of physical consciousness is also empty about senses and thoughts.

Our consciousness consists of physical consciousness and non-physical consciousness.

Physical consciousness is a physical being. It's an immaterial entity --microscopic action--, bears the action of consciousness --the bodily sensing action / the thinking action--, and is the core or foundation of consciousness. However, it's quite physical, and the consciousness's action borne by it is fulfilled quite physically and automatically. And, senses --bodily sensation and senses of thought-- do not occur in itself.

Non-physical consciousness is not physical. It's like a shadow, projection, reverberation, trace, or monitor of the work (movement) of physical consciousness's action, not an entity embodied by energy, and empty as an entity. And it's perfectly inert. However, senses and thoughts occur in this. And, this is me as an ideological being. (In short, me as an ideological being is not a physical being, empty as an entity, and a perfect ideological body).

The attributes of a sense and a thought are the same with the non-physical consciousness. (In the first place, the non-physical consciousness is a sense). And a sense (alone) is an idea. A sense occurs only in the non-physical consciousness.

However, fundamentally, bodily sensation occurs automatically originating in various physical events that occur inside and outside a living body. So to speak, senses are the transformation of the physical movement of various physical events --extrinsic influence of the change of energy, force, etc. caused by the occurrence of various physical events-- by the transmission inside the body and the consciousness's action --so to speak, ghosts of various physical events-- and can be positioned as guests who come from outside the consciousness. This is subtle, but it's not necessarily impossible to consider the senses to be separate from non-physical consciousness --me as an ideological being-- and not part of our consciousness. In short, roughly, the very bodily sensation is not part of me. It is guests and others that are separate from me as an ideological being.

In this respect, as to senses, me as an ideological being can be regarded as a person who passively sees and perceives senses that are guests coming from outside. Me as an ideological being is the one who sees (passively) the senses (that occur automatically within itself). (If something like movement occurs in me as an ideological being --non-physical consciousness--, it's to recognize (see) senses only. However that is perfectly passive).

Then, non-physical consciousness of me as an ideological being is empty about senses unless some senses --bodily sensation or senses of thought-- occur in it originating in some physical events. It can be said that, at that time, the non-physical consciousness doesn't see any senses --bodily sensation and ideas have not occurred-- and me as an ideological being is in a calm state. Aside from non-physical consciousness being empty as an entity, the state where senses have not occurred in idle consciousness is also a state of emptiness. (In short, an idle state is, in a word, a state of emptiness).

8) The action to see (perceive) equipped in non-physical consciousness as the ultimate me

By the way, aside from the bodily sensing action and the thinking action, is an action to see equipped in consciousness? This is a subtle question. Consciousness, in actual fact, cannot be demonstrated physically and can only be speculated. And, this part appears to be nearly impossible to speculate.

Still, it seems that, if consciousness is the bodily sensing action itself and the thinking action itself, senses which occur as the result of the work of these actions do not need to be seen by other "action to see". The occurrence of senses seems to be able to become straight the perception of senses as it is. It's because the physical consciousness is an action, and the non-physical consciousness of me as an ideological being is the reflection of its movement. The movement of physical consciousness can become senses as it is in non-physical consciousness. Me as an ideological being may be the very senses that occur in non-physical consciousness.

9) Religious (human) interest in "emptiness"

And, is there some further religious (human) meaning in the fact that senses and consciousness are empty? It seems that there is probably the meaning, and the further idea, self-awareness, congnition, teaching, etc. can be developed. However, since the higher the order becomes, the more complicated the order will become --ideas are advanced physical order--, in such a side religion or ethics are likely to have relation to, nothing can be said unconditionary, and there is not a rule that we have to think this way. So each person seems to have his or her own feeling or answers about that.

However, if a guide is given to some extent by Buddhism, it's desirable. This is because it is said that "emptiness" is one of principal foundations of Buddhism teachings. (However, the reason why that is so is not very clear).

10) The formation of ideas by the thinking action of physical consciousness

By the way, what kind of thought is formed through the occurrence of some physical event is left to the physical and automatic thinking action of physical consciousness. (Me as an ideological being only sees passively the result of its work).

In a strict sense, there is no free will. Thinking patterns are thought to be formed from innumerable neurons in the living body of the brain, but the formation is not done by free will. Thinking patterns are also thought to be formed automatically based on the integrate, comprehensive, and cooperative work of thinking actions of innumerable brain cells.

To begin with, our subjective consciousness doesn't fulfill any operation in forming a certain thought at the material level of the foundation of innumerable brain cells. In the first place, it seems that such a mechanism or means doesn't exist. It's impossible logically too. Consciousness is a creature. It's fundamentally impossible that (the action (= physical consciousness) of) physical me who is a creature that is formed passively and automatically by the work of others (= innumerable substances that are the foundation of consciousness) intervenes in the work of the others.

And, it follows that that automatically formed thinking patterns in physical consciousness are our way of thinking.

It's may be that the thinking patterns are particular to me and should be regarded as "my way of thinking". Individuality of my own way of thinking and the movement of body --every muscular movement-- is formed here in the thinking patterns. The thinking patterns are my individuality. The same is true for the way of perceiving bodily sensation.

And, ideas which arise through "my way of thinking" are also particular to me and regarded as "my ideas". The same is true for bodily movements and sensations.

Even though there is no free will and the way of thinking is formed physically and automatically in the thinking action, that my way of thinking --logic or algorism-- formed is particular to me and can exactly be said to be me at the entity side of the thinking action. (By the bye, the physical consciousness where the thinking patterns are formed is the physical core or foundation of my consciousness). My way of thinking is me myself at the entity side. Anyhow, my way of thinking is my individuality. It may be that, since the activity of organisms exactly bases on ideas, "the way of thinking" that gives rise to the ideas is my core practically.

However, for the ultimate me who is the minimum state of my consciousness, the thoughts generated by my thinking patterns are rich in hue of others.

By the way, if some (sense of) thought occurs in my own self consciousness, our consciousness tacitly think that I thought it on my own. However, there is no free will. Even though it unconsciously seems that I myself thought the ideas that occur in my mind, ideas can be misunderstood to be thought on my own if they just physically and automaticallly arise in my mind. And we seem to misunderstand actually.

Still, we think I live by my ideas and free will. This feeling and the impression of free will seem to be extremely deep-rooted but not a problem. They don't matter at all.
