Matter has internal actions (Very important)
The internal actions inherent in matter and energy have a tendency to seek to form higher physical order
Matter seems to have internal actions, although it seems impossible to demonstrate. This is logically inevitable.
《 (An aside) A function is always activated extrinsically 》
By the way, computation (thinking) is one function. And, a functions is fundamentally one that fulfills some work assigned to it and the work doesn't contain a function to activate itself. If such a function is contained, lt lapses into a logical vicious circle.
For this reason, a function can never activate itself on its own and is always activated extrinsically.
In a word, a question is always brought extrinsically. And, higher physical order is inevitably formed with the occurrence of extrinsic question --physical interaction-- as a trigger.
However, in a huge function called thinking in animal's brain, the thought result in a part can be a trigger to activate the action of other part. Such movements are endlessly chained together to finally bring a thought result (answer) of higher order.
And, still, only the first trigger to activate the entire thinking needs to be entered extrinsically.
《 (An aside) There is no free will (free thinking) 》
And, the fact that functions are always activated extrinsically is related to the question of free will (free thinking) deeply. Even though it's a thinking function, it cannot prepare on its own the initial input to activate its operation --to develop thinking--. And, the content of thoughts to be developed is completely influenced by the initial input. (In addition, it's also not possible for consciousness (as a creature) to form or change the way thinking works or algorithm (that is the creator of consciousness. (It's impossible. In the first place, there is no such a way)).
Therefore, fundamentally, in a strict sense, there is no free thinking (free will). There is no choice but to say that, in a strict sense, a thinking action is completely physically fulfilled, overwhelmingly influenced by the chances that surround it.
《 (An aside) The morphological change of one species also seems to be an example of "indeterminate", "non-canonical choice", and so on 》
And, moreover, from the point of view of (aforesaid) "what is reality?" (1), the morphological change of one species (= evolution) could also be regarded as an example of "indeterminate", "non-canonical choice", "substitution possibility", and so on. This is because, since the material situation in which each individual is placed is extremely diverse, it seems that the thoughts (= designs) that are formed by being strongly influenced by it will also become diverse, and the morphological changes that will eventually result will also become more or less diverse. And, with that, furthermore, it seems that the morphological changes of one species will be fixed in one direction through natural selection.

................
1-0) Sketch
It is intuitively understood that matter has internal actions and they are the true nature of matter. This is because, if matter doesn't have those actions, no spontaneous move and work occurs in matter and the matter doesn't interact with other matter either.
However, it may be difficult to be convinced of with just this. In this section, it will be explained in a little more detail that matter is endowed with internal actions. The outline of the explanation is as follows.
i) The laws of physics can be thought of as ruling and controlling the movement of physical events from the outside.
ii) Here, we assume that there is no external entity that embodies the workings of such physical laws. (And, actually, it seems that such an entity doesn't exist).
iii) Then, it follows that the physical event has no choice but to control its own work by itself.
iv) And, if we pursue this, it follows that matter itself controls its own work, and that matter has such workings (functions).
1-1) Physical events always occur due to causality
Physical events do not happen for nothing. Physical events are always caused by some cause. Physical events always occur due to causality (or causation). And causality is like a principle or axiom. There is no reason for causality.
(However, it seems that this universe is not always deterministic, even if physical events always occur due to causality. And, it seems that determinism is abandoned due to Bell's theorem and Aspect's experiment).
1-2) Physical events must always be strict
In addition, physical events must always be strict. Physical events must occur exactly. And this is also like a principle or axiom, for no reason.
(If we force the reason, that's because if the physical event is not strict, it should happen haphazardly and be messed up, while being tossed by chance. In the first place, it seems that such a thing cannot be a physical event).
In other words, physical events always occur due to the cause (causality) and always occur strictly.
(Therefore, even the natural collapse of the physical order by the second law of thermodynamics that entropy increases may be regarded as an orderly and strict movement in a sense. Physical order is not only strictly formed, but also strictly destroyed when it collapses. But it's the minimum order).
1-3) Nothingness does not exist
By the way, according to Spinoza and Bergson, nothingness does not exist.
For this reason, nothingness cannot embody anything. (It's because it doesn't exist in the first place). (And it also cannot construct causality. Nothingness cannot be the cause of a physical event).
Therefore, if something is there, it must always be embodied with something other than nothingness.
And, what is other than nothingness is matter in a broad sense, including space composed of Higgs bosons. And, according to Einstein, matter and energy are equivalent, but, in this sense, what is embodied with energy comes under something other than nothing. The physical entity embodied with energy is something other than nothingness.
(However, it seems that physical entities are not necessarily limited to material ones. There can be non-material entities. In the first place, it seems that the energy (which is the source of this universe and extremely mysterious) is not material.
For this reason, if anything is there, it must be a physical entity. And, the causality that causes the physical event also needs to be embodied with the physical entity.
1-4) There is no external entity that embodies the workings of the laws of physics
Let's consider the laws of physics here.
The laws of physics apparently seem to rule or control the movement of physical events from outside the physical events. However, it seems that the framework in which the laws of physics work is not so clear. Is there a physical entity that embodies the laws of physics?
Let's assume that such an entity of external physical laws exists. Then, it follows that the working of external control of some physical event by the entity of the physical law is also one physical event. However, then, it follows that (the entities of) the laws of physics that control that physical events are also necessary. And this immediately falls into a vicious circle. Therefore, it follows that the assumption that the entities of the laws of physics exist is not true, and (the entities of) the external laws of physics do not exist.
The laws of physics are not physical entities that have the physical effectiveness of being able to control the movement of physical events from the outside.
It seems to be the opposite. If there is some physical event first and humans formulate its movement, as a result, what is called the law of physics as a static idea that expresses the movement of that physical event is obtained. What exists in terms of the laws of physics, to the end, is the workings that bring about physical events. There are the workings (functions) that bring about physical events.
And, since there is no entity (= entity that embodies the laws of physics) that brings and controls the movement of some physical event from the outside, that physical event has no choice but to move on its own. Physical events are always in control of their own movements. This is self-control. Physical events are not fulfilled by the static idea of the laws of physics, but always by self-control by themselves.
And, this doesn't matter whether it is a (large) macroscopic physical event outside the matter or a microscopic physical event inside the matter. (This is because even macroscopic physical events are formed by innumerable substances, and the movement of those substances is achieved by self-control on their own). In other words, all physical events in this universe are always fulfilled by the self-control of matter itself.
1-5) Interference fringes are a map of the state inside matter, and it's fortunate that it was observed
By the way, the interference fringes observed in the double-slit experiment can be regarded as a visualization and map of the internal state of matter --an electron, fullerene, or photon-- while flying alone in a vacuum --basic existential mode of matter--. In other words, the double-slit experiment is usually supposed to demonstrate the "wave-particle duality" inherent in matter, but, from a different point of view, it can be said that, in this experiment, the inside of matter (elementary particle) that cannot be normally observed was observed.
And, in general, it's impossible to observe the inside of one matter (elementary particle), so in this sense, it's very invaluable. It can also be said that it's extremely fortunate for human beings.
(It's because, observation media such as light and electrons are indispensable for the observation by humans, but those observation media are always involved in the interaction with the matter (elementary particles) to be observed. on the surface. (However, if it is inside a large substance, such as a mass of normal substance or crystal, it can be observed to some extent by the X-ray). For this reason, it follows that it cannot be done very much that the observation medium penetrates the inside of the matter (elementary particle) to be observed, interacts with its components at any position, returns, and conveys the state of the inside to humans).
1-6) The wave motion of matter is an internal physical event of matter, and matter is figuratively alive
And, the wave motion of matter is the internal physical event of matter (in its basic existential mode). In other words, matter is by no means static, but, internally, always operates as one physical event and one dynamic process. Figuratively, it can be said that matter is alive.
(Matter continues to sustain and operate completely spontaneously, independently and actively (without receiving any external supply of energy because of its being completely sustainable energy). Matter never grows weak).
1-7) Since the wave of matter and interference fringes are physical, the components of the wave are also physical entities
And, since the wave of matter and interference fringes are physical, it is strongly surmised that the components of the wave (= matter itself) must also be physical entities.
(By the way, interference fringes are also observed with a photon. And a photon is a mass of energy. Then, it seems quite possible to expect minimum energies to be the components of (the wave of) matter).
1-8) Matter has internal actions
Now, let's think about what fulfills independently the physical events that occur to itself by self-control.
It seems that, since there is no external entity that embodies the workings of the laws of physics, the physical event inside the matter called the wave is always fulfilled by causality and by strict self-control by the wave itself.
(Here, causality is the cause of a physical event called wave motion, or what brings it. In other words, even the internal physical event of the wave of matter must be fulfilled by its cause or what brings it).
And such strict self-control cannot be achieved by nothingness, but must be achieved by a physical entity (embodied with energy).
And, by the double-slit experiment, it is judged that matter is a dynamic process formed by a myriad of constituents (that are physical entities).
And, inside the matter, only the components exist. There are no things inside matter other than its components that embody the functions of the laws of physics and fulfill the function of strictly controlling physical events from the outside.
Because of this, it seems that the physical event of a wave within matter can only be fulfilled directly by the self-control by the constituents of matter themselves.
To put it the other way around, it follows that matter (= its constituent elements) is endowed with the function to strictly fulfill the physical event of matter's wave motion.
And, since the function is carried out spontaneously, subjectively, and actively by the matter itself, it seems more appropriate to position it as an action rather than as a function.
In a word, matter has an internal action.
And, this framework seems to be the same for switching between the continuation of a particle-like existential mode in which the constituent elements of matter are concentrated at a single localized point in space. It seems that matter is in fact endowed with many internal actions.
(And, the workings themselves of the internal actions inherent in matter are the laws of physics in the microscopic space inside the matter. Moreover, the workings of those internal actions are the origin of the laws of physics on the macroscopic plane outside matter).
1-9) The internal actions of matter may also be explained in terms of order
This is like a forced sophistry, but it may be possible to explain from the point of view of order that matter has internal actions.
A single matter is a single integrate being, and is never brought about by simply gathering together a myriad of energies. And, from a different point of view, matter is an integrate, dynamic, and continuous order.
(For example, both the wave mode and the particle-like mode of matter are an integrate, dynamic, and continuous order. Whatever it may be, it is order (at the level of existence) that sustains its being).
And, even if the ultimate material of matter is the mysterious thing of energy, an integrate, dynamic, and sustainable order cannot exist for nothing. Rather, it takes some strict rationale and work to allow the energies to use themselves as material to evolve into a single integrate higher-order being.
(As can be seen in the switching from the existential mode of a wave to the particle-like existential mode, energy appears to have a tendency to use itself as a material to form a higher physical order with the occurrence of interaction (= something like a question asking the existence of the other party). All the evolution of matter (including the evolution of living things) seems to owe to this tendency. However, the work of energy outside of matter, governed by thermodynamics, is different).
Furthermore, the existence of matter composed as one integrated order must be maintained by some kind of strict work.
And such work must be fulfilled spontaneously, independently, and actively by the matter itself, inside the composed matter. (This is because there are no others within matter that can fulfill such a work. Matter has no choice but to fulfill the work by itself).
For this reason, it seems that things that fulfill such works are inherently present in matter. That is the internal actions of matter. Matter has internal actions.
2) Individual matter actions
To begin with, let's call the internal actions inherent in matter "matter actions" conveniently.
And, the matter actions seem possible to be classified from two points of view, a point of view of individual actions and a point of view of compositional actions that compose an individual action.
And, we will not delve into individual matter actions, but it seems that there are individual matter actions as typical examples as follows.
A) Superstring's fundamental vibration
B) Energy respiration
C) Gauge bosons radiation
D) Electromagnetic wave's flight
E) Wave-particle duality
F) Thermal vibration
G) Thermal radiation
H) Fundamental interactions (However, these work between two matter)
I) Kinetic interactions (However, these work between two matter)
J) Nuclear fusion and nuclear fission
K) Chemical synthesis and chemical decomposition
However, these are just a quick list. If we look closely, the matter actions must be possible to be subdivided in more detail. (For example, "wave-particle duality" can be subdvided into at least three actions.). And, there must be many other matter actions besides these.
By the way, it seems that matter actions from A to D do not receive external influences such as energy, force, etc. and operate perfectly independently. And, matter actions from E to K receive external influences.
By the way, moreover, it seems impossible to observe directly matter actions. This is because attempts to observe will only leave traces (maps) of actions as results.
3) Internal measurement
The concept of "internal measurement" has been proposed by a biophysicist Koichiro Matsuno. It is surmised that this concept was conceived as one of foundations for the development (formation) of primordial organisms, and the main point seems to be as follows.
Matter is a third person object outwardly, but internally a first person subject and a first person action body which continues to operate spontaneously, independently, and actively, without spending energy. (Subject-object duality / Activeness-passivity duality).
And, matter receives extrinsic influences --force and energy that work on from the outside-- always through physical interactions that work on from the outside, and the response of matter side --matter's spontaneous and independent operation-- after its receiving the influence is consisted of measurement of the extrinsic influence, decision (computation) of actions based on the measurement, and carrying out the actions --changing its own state and carrying out some works by matter-- based on the decision, and, through repetition of a battery of these movements, the state --physical order-- of matter which receives extrinsic influences always continues to be updated (maintained) to the newest one.
Simply put, the internal measurement expresses in a word the whole response of matter side --movements which occur at matter-- when it is involved in the interactions which work on from the outside.
Furthermore, the "internal measurement" expresses that matter is a first person subject and a first person action body. And, this is exceedingly important for consciousness to emerge. This is because this universe is utterly a world of third person objects macroscopically, and consciousness as a first person subject doesn't seem at all to be able to emerge all of a sudden without basises.
Depending on this, the internal measurement is a compound action.
And, in order for consciousness to be formed, matter is required to have actions which can form the action of consciousness and fulfill ideological work. It is surmised that consciousness is formed from actions of fulfilling ideological work among microscopic actions inherent in matter. And, it seems that actions which are presumed to be able to form the action of consciousness and expected to fulfill ideological work are also contained actually in internal measurement.
They are as follows
i) Measurement about the state of matter itself
For matter to be always in a physically newest state, it needs to gain information about its own current physical state --this includes the change in state caused by extrinsic influence such as forces and energy matter receives-- first. In a word, measurement is information gathering about the current physical state of matter itself. And, since measurement inputs values of current physical state of matter itself, it is (not the material work that operates the state of matte itself but) a static work.
ii) Computation about the state of matter itself at the next moment based on measurement
Measurement alone is not enough for matter to be always a newest state. Computation about the state at the next moment --so to speak, design-- is also necessary. This is because the existence of matter must be physically strict. If computation based on measurement is not done, the state of matter becomes incoherent and probably the matter becomes unable to exist in this universe. And, what can be the basis of strictness and bring strictness is computation only. Thereby the work of computation is indispensable for matter to exist. And computation is an ideological work.
By the way, the work of measurement and the work of computation are ideological works. In other words, fundamentally, it can be evaluated that m_a_t_t_e_r (having ideological works) h_a_s i_n_t_e_l_l_i_g_e_n_c_e. (However, this is not panpsychism. Intelligence is not limited to living things. Intelligence can be inanimate).
And, the work of internal measurement --the work of measurement and the work of computation / intelligent work-- inherent in matter is presumed to be the source of consciousness.

4-10) Compositional matter actions -- Actions that constitute the internal measurement
................
4-0) Foreword
The matter actions seem possible to be classified from two points of view, a point of view of individual actions and a point of view of compositional actions that compose an individual action.
And, the examples of individual actions were mentioned in the section "Individual matter actions".
And, one individual action is formed from compositional actions that compose the action, and they exactly come under the actions that compose the internal measurement. Below we describe them.
4-1) Others cannot be detected, identified, or distinguished directly
Matter doesn't seem to be able to detect, identify, or distinguish others directly. Matter doesn't seem to have such advanced means like macro commands.
4-2) Changes which occur in matter
To begin with, if matter is involved in some physical interactions with other matter, those matter exerts force on each other, or energy conduction (transfer) occurs between them, and they influence each other about force or energy. In other words, due to the occurrence of physical interactions, in each matter, kinetic energy increses or decreases, momentum changes, and thermal energy increses or decreases, and extrinsic changes occur with respect to energy and momentum.
4-3) Influence of extrinsic force or energy
By the way, there are two kinds of influence by extrinsic force on matter, a case where force works instantaneously and a case where force works continuously.
However, in either case, the influence of force's work remains in matter as changed kinetic energy or momentum. In short, the result of influence of force's work lasts.
(By the bye, when matter's locomotion is not possible even if it received force, potential energy may be stored somewhere --for example, around the space between--).
Furthermore, in a case where energy conduction (transfer) occurs, the amount of external energy (thermal energy) sticking to matter fluctuates and lasts.
In other words, the influence by extrinsic force or energy in matter caused by the occurrence of physical interactions is, in general, lasts in matter as changed kinetic energy, momentum, or thermal energy.
Let's call this extrinsic force or energy, which brings the change of kinetic energy, momentum, or thermal energy, the extrinsic influence (by the extrinsic force or energy) expediently.
4-4) What matter can do with respect to detection, identification, or distinguishment of others
And, in such a situation, regarding to the detection, identification, or distinguishment of others, the only thing matter can do is, at the most, to measure --to be more precise, to continue measuring-- the extrinsic influence --extrinsic force or energy-- and kinetic energy, momentum, and thermal energy which stick to matter and fluctuate being caused by the extrinsic influence.
In a word, matter can by no means detect, identify, or distinguish others directly.
By the way, from this, it's also understood that matter can never measure physical quantities of other matter. This is because all the matter can do is continue to detect or measure extrinsic influence and changes in itself caused by the influence at best. This is essential.
In addition, matter doesn't have the thinking ability or intelligence. Thereby, matter doesn't think something happened, when it's involved in some physical interaction. Moreover, it also doesn't infer the existence of others based on the changes in itself.
Furthermore, the identification or distinguishment of others appears to require integrate and comprehensive computation --viz. thinking-- based on plenty of information, but matter doesn't have so much action as that.
That is to say, matter doesn't at all measure physical quantities of others and doesn't at all identify or distinguish others either. Matter only continues measuring extrinsic influence it accepts and its kinetic energy, momentum, and thermal energy which change by the influence. Figuratively, no matter how hard matter struggles, matter can know only about itself.
4-5) Measuring instruments do not measure targets directly
By the way, moreover, matter cannot measure other matter's physical quantities, and, similarly, all measuring instruments in human society do not measure targets directly. (There is no direct way to measure targets). Measuring instruments only measure some its own physical state. However, the state changes by the physical interaction with the measurement object. As a result, human beings can (indirectly) know (conjecture) the state of object by seeing the change.
And, similarly, the perception (identification, distinguishment) of the outside world by human beings and animals is, fundamentally, conjecture and reproducton based on (the change in) some state in the brain, brought by the interaction --extrinsic influence-- between the outside world, observation media (such as light and sound), sensory organs, and the nervous system.
However, it is surmised that, at higher living things, the conjecture (based on the five senses) has grown almost close to reality owing to the evolution --plasticity of the body and the brain--, (though humankind are illusionary).
(However, bodily sensation being accompanied by qualia such as colors and sounds does not exist as physical entities. (Senses of thought being accompanied by qualia are the same). What exist as entities are (frequencies or wavelength of) electromagnetic waves and (oscillation of) the air. Senses seem to be like a shadow or map of the movements of the bodily sensing action and the thinking action equipped in consciousness. So they are not entities. And, senses, which are not entities embodied with energy and are accompanied by qualia, seem to be ideas).
4-6) There are two kinds of changes which occur at matter
And, it seems that, when matter was involved in some physical interaction with others and received extrinsic influence, the state of matter --kinetic energy, momentum, or thermal energy-- must be immediately updated to a new state suitable to the influence, and, also, some internal movements suitable to the influence must be carried out at once. However, at the base level of matter, there are no others who perform such operations. Matter must carry out the operations on its own, when it was involved in interactions with others.
In short, there are two kinds of extrinsic changes which occur at matter when the matter is involved in physical interactions.
The first is the change (occurrence, continuation, or disappearance) of extrinsic influence --extrinsic force or energy-- matter receives being involved in some interaction.
And, the second is immediate update of the state of matter --kinetic energy, momentum, or thermal energy-- and the operation of the internal movements which must be carried out at once, based on the (change in) extrinsic influence.
These two changes are distinct.
4-7) Handling of two types of changes
And, these changes must be handled strictly. It seems that, if these changes are not handled strictly, the state change of matter would become incoherent and matter probably couldn't continue to exist in this universe.
The handling of the first change --extrinsic influence-- is the measurement of the extrinsic influence --(change of) extrinsic force and energy--. If precise measurement is not done, matter cannot respond strictly. So the measurement is indispensable.
And, the handling of the second change is the measurement of its present state, the computation of a state at the next moment, the update to the state at the next moment, and the operation of internal movements (actions).
For example, there are thermal vibration and thermal radiation among individual actions. It seems that the work of these actions are influenced by the amount of thermal energy --thermal energy gained by the absorption of electromagnetic waves are also included in this-- that sticks to matter, but they cannot operate strictly unless they know the amount. For this reason, the measurement about extrinsic influence and its own states is indispensable for individual matter actions to work strictly.
And, when matter received extrinsic influence, the state of matter --kinetic energy, momentum, or thermal energy-- must be immediately updated to a new state suitable to the influence. For this reason, the state of matter is presumed to continue to be measured always.
In the computation, based on the measurement of the extrinsic influence, the new state of matter itself to which matter must be updated immediately and the internal movements (actions) which must be carried out immediately are computed.
Moreover, in the update and the operation, based on the computed outcome, the operation which must be carried out immediately is put into effect.
These measurement, computation, update, and operation correspond to the actions which constitute the internal measurement.
By the way, it's actually delicate whether or not kinetic energy, momentum, and thermal energy borne by matter continue to be measured. It can also be considered that they are not measured, but are simply added and subtracted. However, at matter, strong events such as chemical synthesis, chemical decomposiotion, nuclear fusion, and nuclear fission also occur. And, these seem to occur when thermal energy and so on straddles some absolute values. Then, to be able to do that, it may be more reasonable to interpret that energy or momentum sticking to matter is still being measured always.
4-8) The qualities of measurement, computation, update, and operation -- M_a_t_t_e_r h_a_s i_n_t_e_l_l_i_g_e_n_c_e
By the way, also, measurement and computation do not change matter's physical state. These two actions deal with intangible data or information. So, these can be said to be ideological actions like data processing. (Measurement continues measuring the extrinsic influence (about force or energy). Force and energy are physical, but if this action only inputs (reads) their values --data / information / ideas--, it could be said that the quality of the work is ideological).
In other words, it looks like data processing which deals with ideas is done also inside matter. It can be, rather, said that the ideological movement inside matter is data processing in a strict sense and the prototype of the big data processing in consciousness.
And, ideological works are, so to speak, intellectual works more than they are data processing. For this reason, fundamentally, matter is regarded as has intelligence. M_a_t_t_e_r h_a_s i_n_t_e_l_l_i_g_e_n_c_e. Intelligence inherent in matter may be the prototype of intelligence inherent in humans and living things.
(By the way, this is not panpsychism. Intelligence is not limited to the mind of humans and living things. Even inanimate matter can have intelligence. Otherwise this universe and matter cannot exist fundamentally. This is because the intelligence inherent in matter seems to control various movement that occurs in the matter).
On the other hand, since, in update and operation, physical works to be done in matter are actually carried out according to the computed result, it can be said that those are concrete actions about matter itself as an entity, and actions of dealing with entities.
4-9) There are two aspects of matter's movement
Matter is a third person object outwardly (macroscopically), but internally (microscopically) a first person subject and a first person action body which continues to operate spontaneously, independently, and actively, without using energy. (Subject-object duality / Activeness-passivity duality).
For this reason, it seems that matter, of which true nature is matter actions, has two aspects, macroscopic movement and microscopic movement, about its movements, as follows.
A) In a facet of the macroscopic third person object, matter doesn't change its own macrocsopic state --move spatially, spin, or transform itself into some other matter-- itself.
(The decay of radioactive substances is an exception. This is conjectured to be brought about by its own action, energy respiration. The amount of energy respired is indefinite, but if it exceeds the specific value for each substance, the substance would decay).
Matter can change its own macroscopic state only after it was involved in some interaction. (However, the change is actually (practically) (instantaneously) carried out by (microscopic) matter actions which are inherent in matter, true nature of matter, and first person subjects).
For these reasons, matter doesn't move (change) by itself in a facet of the macroscopic third person object and in the lapse of time diachronically. This is an aspect of the diachronic (macroscopic) movement of matter.
B) (Microscopic) matter actions which are true nature of matter and the first person subjects operate spontaneously, independently, and actively. Moreover, the operations do not need energy and are completed instantaneously without time. (Or, it may take as much time as Planck time (5.4 * 10**(-44) second)). In matter, matter actions's operations which are completed instantaneously are carried out endlessly in the lapse of time.
However, actions which are related to the change of macroscopic state change matter's state (instantaneously) only when matter was passively involved in some interaction and received extrinsic influence.
However, in a case where the extrinsic influence lasts, according to that, the actions continue to carry out the operations it should perform. This is an aspect of the microscopic movement of matter.
(Please refer to the section "Consciousness doesn't work with energy (Important)" too for details).
4-10) Compositional matter actions -- Actions that constitute the internal measurement
And, it seems that each individual matter action is at least composed of the following compositional matter actions. And they exactly correspond to the actions that constitute the internal measurement.
(However, those distinctions are ones that subdivide the work, which is presumed to be carried out internally in matter, into a series of semantically (logically) consequent and fundamental units and are easy-to-image models. They are like generic terms).
L) Acceptance action (Deals with entities)
M) Measurement action (Fulfills information gathering that is an ideological function. Like measuring instruments)
N) Computation action (Fulfills designing or thinking that is an ideological function. Like computers)
O) Operation action (Deals with entities. Like machine's operation)
L) Acceptance action
This action accepts extrinsic force or energy matter receives when it is involved in the physical interactions with others. (Without this action, matter becomes transparent to the interactions and invisible. And, in consequence, it comes unable to exist in this universe). (Matter action of dealing with entities)
M) Measurement action
This action continues to measure extrinsic force and energy, which are accepted by the acceptance action and are extrinsic influence, and kinetic energy, momentum, thermal energy, etc., which change by the extrinsic influence and are borne by matter itself. (Matter action of fulfilling ideological work, like measuring instruments)
N) Computation action
When matter was involved in some fundamental interaction with others and received extrinsic influence, the state of matter must immediately be updated to a state suitable to the influence, and, also, some internal works suitable to the influence must immediately be operated in matter. This action computes all operations which must immediately be carried out in matter. (Matter action of fulfilling ideological work, like computers)
O) Operation action
This action concretely operates all operations which are computed by the computation action and must be carried out immediately. (Matter action of dealing with entities)
Since actions from A) superstring's fundamental vibration to D) electromagnetic wave's flight among actions iherent in matter seem to be independent of both extrinsic influence and matter's state, they seem to be fundamental matter actions.
However, actions from E) wave-particle duality to K) chemical synthesis and chemical decomposition seem to be dependent of extrinsic influence or matter's state affected by extrinsic influence.
5) Problems latent in autopoiesis, internal measurement, crystallization process, living bodies, consciousness, and so on
By the way, if matter actions are confined to a single matter (quantum), there is no problem.
However, if matter actions can work on over plural (lots of) substances, a serious problem seems to arise on a side of production control --planning, design, communication, supply, transportation, assembly, etc. However, there is no planning in substances. It's impossible for substances (and primordial consciousness having no memorizing ability) to make a plan of which achievement needs time-- about integrateness, comprehensiveness, cooperativeness, etc. of movements of substances.
This is because, no matter how highly they are organized, plural (lots of) substances are never a single quantum, but an aggregate. And, in this universe, what can have integrateness, comprehensiveness, cooperativeness, etc. as a single existence (or, entity) is a quantum only. In the framework of present physics, what can bring integrateness, etc. which extends over plural (lots of) substances, like a single quantum, doesn't exist.
This is also applicable to systems of material autopoiesis.
However, if it's supposed that a single consciousness extending over the whole of substances --consciousness is an integrate body-- emerges, it's expected that the problem of integrateness, comprehensiveness, cooperativeness, etc. will be solved partially --in an ideological side such as design, communication, etc--.
(By the bye, consciousness doesn't always occur only in living things or living bodies. It's expected that, if the requirements for the consciousness emergence are met, consciousness can also emerge in a conglomerate of inanimate substances before living things. That's like proto-consciousness or material consciousness).
However, still, a problem remains. It's because, even if integrateness and comprehensiveness in a side of production control is accomplished partially, there is no framework or mechanism which can integratively and comprehensively affect movements of substances based on the integrateness and comprehensiveness in present physics.
That is to say, in a framework of present physics, there is a break between consciousness and matter --it presumably seems that consciousness is not recognized to be physical in present physics--, and it's impossible that both affect each other, either on input side or on output side of consciousness. (In spite of that, consciousness can perceive matter actually in a facet of input side. It's strange).
(However, it may be an important issue that can broaden the scope of physics, if we think positively).
By the way, the question of free will also related to the output side of consciousness. This is because the fact that movements of living bodies or bodies which are formed from substances can be affected by thinking done in consciousness is one of requirements of free will. (The question of free will is subdivided into three parts, and this is the last part).
(By the bye, moreover, it's strongly surmised that thinking, which is not computation fulfilled in a single matter, but comprehensive one which straddles plural (lots of) substances, can be carried out only by the thinking action of consciousness which is big, integrate, and comprehensive).
Moreover, thoughts felt by consciousness seem to be senses (senses of thought), but it seems impossible that senses are transmitted between plural entities --for example, a substance called the brain and consciousness which emerges in the brain--. Senses are only for the person who feels them. For this reason, if senses of thought are felt by consciousness, it follows that thinking is carried out not in a substance called the brain, but exactly in consciousness.
For this reason, in a case where plural (lots of) components participate, a considerably difficult problem lurks in autopoiesis, internal measurement, living bodies, living things, consciousness, free will, etc.
This is called mind-body problem in cognitive science.
By the way, also, the internal measurement --compositional matter actions-- is a prototype of autopoiesis, and is the driving force for a system of material autopoiesis which is formed from plural (lots of) components.
Furthermore, the formation process of crystals of snow, etc. seems to be a system of autopoiesis which emerges only for a short time. And exquisite crystals are formed actually. They are good examples of autopoiesis. Thereby, it's conjectured that a mechanism or factor which is not recognized yet in present physics may deeply participate in the formation process of crystals of snow, etc. (Moreover, this seems to be applicable also to living bodies and consciousness).
6) A possibility of solving problem
And, it seems that the measurement action, the computation action, and the operation action mentioned above as models of fundamental actions --compositional matter actions-- which constitute the internal measurement have the potential to be the factors that can solve the problem.
This is just a tentative expectation, but it's conceivable that, to begin with, in an autopoiesis system which is formed from plural (innumerable) components, by some driving force, the measurement action and the computaion action --both are ideological actions-- inherent in each substance are integrated to form a big single measurement action and a big single fundamental computaion.
These are like the bodily sensing action and the thinking action --these are also ideological actions-- of conscnousness which is integrate and comprehensive.
(Some driving force is something that may be able to form higher physical order. It would be nice if such a thing existed actually).
It's because, since these are actions of not dealing with entities but fulfilling ideological work, close bonds (like chemical bonds) of constituents as entities may not be necessary. It would be fine if actions of fulfilling ideological work alone can be integrated into one action (through moderate consumption of energy --or, to be precise, moderate reduction of entropy production rate--), and actions of dealing with entities remain each individual action inherent in each substance (quantum).
The material state of the entire system can be detected by the big measurement action after integration. And, according to the detection, computation to form the big physical order of the entire system can be carried out by the big computation action after integration.
It's because all internal actions inherent in matter originally carry out the operation to maintain or form the physical order at the microscopic level of matter --so to speak, put the laws of physics at the microscopic level into effect concretely--. In other words, actions inherent in matter are the source of the laws of physics at the microscopic level and the ordinary laws of physics (at the macroscopic level), and embody the work of them.
(The laws of physics are not mere insubstantial ideas without practical effect. They rule the physical world of this universe. properly. For this reason, what puts the work of physical laws into effect cannot be empty and must inevitably be some physical entities (that are embodied with energy). Those are the matter actions),
7) An especially grave problem
And, the operation action concretely operates all the movement and operations which are computed by the computation action and must be carried out immediately.
Here, if the operation action inherent in each individual substance operates according to the big comprehensive result computed by the integrated big computation action, it will come possible for an autopoiesis system to move integratively and cooperatively in the constructive and productive course of forming a single big physical order by the whole of it.
However, in this case, (unbelievably), it seems to follow that each substance composing an autopoiesis system moves outwardly, actively, and unnaturally based on only the computed result of the big eomputation action, (not being passively involved in interactions with other substances and violating ordinary macroscopic laws of physics).
This means, that is to say, that substances in an autopoiesis system fulfill such physical events as external spatial locomotion, rotation, chemical reactions, etc., (not caring about or disregarding the occurrence of external interactions), but following only the big computed result inside the system.
This is what is likely to be scolded from physics teachers, but it is expected that it's indispensable that such a thing is possible only inside an autopoiesis system. (Otherwise, it is speculated that excellent crystal masses of various substance are never formed, living things do not develop, living things can never move spontaneously, independently, and actively).
For this reason, this seems to be where the insurmountable problem about the explanation of those events lies.
However, if we think positively, this problem may be an important issue that make physics's field of vision widen forcibly.
However, conversely, every macroscopic law of physics is reflection of the working of microscopic actions inherent in matter. And, the operation action only works according to the result by the computation action simply. No matter how substances's movement in an autopoiesis system is judged to violate the macroscopic laws of physics, motor specification of matter actions may be firmly obeyed at the microscopic level.
And, the laws of physics at the microscopic level --movement specification of matter actions-- are all important. If only they are followed, no matter how they are interpreted, it may not at all be a problem.
Furthermore, there is also a peculiar question what (who) generates kinetic energy or momentum which appears in matter. If such a thing is also carried out by the operation action, it doesn't seem to be too much that the operation action realizes the movement which appears to be unnatural macroscopically. In the first place, the operation action only deals with entities, following the result by the computation action.
Spatial locomotion and rotation, and kinetic energy and momentum may be mysterious unexpectedly. (For some reason, the theory of relativity is thought of).
《 The internal actions inherent in matter and energy have a tendency to seek to form higher physical order 》
And, the origin of the thinking action is the ideological (intelligent) work (action) inherent in matter. This work seek to push up matter to a state of higher order. Matter (and energy) have a tendency to realize a state of higher order and thinking in living things's consciousness and the evolution of living things (= evolution of matter) can be described as its fruits.
That is to say, outside matter, order collapses naturally due to the second law of thermodynamics, but it can be considered that, as a basic tendency, matter has inside it a tendency such that it forms higher physicaal order triggered by the occurrence of extrinsic interactions --contacts / questions--. (And the tendency always contains ideological works. Ideological works seem to be indispensable for the formation of higher physical order).
And the origin or source of the tendency is naturally energy. In the double-slit experiment, with the occurrence of an interaction with other matter, the morphological existential mode of matter shifts from a wave mode, in which energy is in a loosely combined state, to a particle-like mode, in which energy is in a tightly combined state. Like that event, energy has fundamentally a tendency to seek to form higher physical order by using itself as material.
By the way, various living bodies, from various microorganisms and cells down, seem to be extremely peculiar substances --extremely peculiar quanta--, the formation of them also seems to come under the formation of higher physical order. And, the formation fundamentally bases on the matter's tendency to form physical order.
And, consciousness emerges physically in those living bodies, is contained in and part of them. This consciousness also seems to be formed fundamentally based on the energy's tendency to form physical order.
