第三十章 最後の決戦
Chapter 30: The Final Battle
夜明け前。
織田軍の陣には、静かな緊張が流れていた。
Before dawn, a quiet tension filled the Oda army’s camp.
兵たちは武具を整え、愛する家族や故郷を思いながら、決戦の時を待っていた。
The soldiers prepared their weapons, thinking of their loved ones and hometowns as they waited for the final battle.
今回の戦いは、ただ領地を奪い合う戦ではない。
This battle was not simply a fight for territory.
平和を望む者と、再び乱世を望む者との戦いだった。
It was a battle between those who desired peace and those who wished to return to an age of chaos.
織田信長は陣の外へ出ると、朝焼けに染まる空を見上げた。
Oda Nobunaga stepped outside the camp and looked at the sky dyed by the morning sun.
その目には、かつて本能寺で見た炎の記憶が浮かんでいた。
In his eyes, the memory of the flames he saw at Honno-ji once again appeared.
燃え盛る寺。
The burning temple.
迫り来る敵。
The approaching enemies.
そして、裏切りの言葉。
And the words of betrayal.
「敵は本能寺にあり。」
“The enemy is at Honno-ji.”
あの日、信長は全てを失ったはずだった。
On that day, Nobunaga was supposed to lose everything.
しかし、天は彼にもう一度生きる道を与えた。
However, the heavens gave him another chance to live.
「ワシは一度、死んだ男だ。」
“I am a man who once died.”
信長は小さくつぶやく。
Nobunaga whispered softly.
「だからこそ、この命は天下のために使う。」
“That is why I will use this life for the sake of the land.”
その言葉を聞いた織田信栄は、父の背中を見つめた。
Hearing those words, Oda Nobuhide looked at his father’s back.
幼い頃から見てきた偉大な父。
The great father he had looked up to since childhood.
しかし今、信栄は気づいていた。
But now, Nobuhide understood.
父もまた、一人の人間なのだと。
His father was also just a human being.
恐怖も、苦しみも抱えながら、それでも前へ進んでいるのだと。
A person who moved forward despite carrying fear and pain.
「父上。」
“Father.”
信栄が声をかける。
Nobuhide spoke.
「私も、この国を守ります。」
“I will protect this country as well.”
信長は振り返り、静かに笑った。
Nobunaga turned around and smiled quietly.
「大きくなったな、信栄。」
“You have grown, Nobuhide.”
「昔のワシなら、力だけで天下を取ろうとしていた。」
“If it were the old me, I would have tried to seize the land with only power.”
「だが今は違う。」
“But now, it is different.”
「天下とは、人の笑顔を守るものだ。」
“A nation exists to protect the smiles of its people.”
その時、遠くから太鼓の音が響いた。
At that moment, the sound of war drums echoed from afar.
黒き鬼衆が動き始めたのだ。
The Black Oni Clan had begun their advance.
山の上には黒鬼玄武が立っていた。
Kuroki Genbu stood on the mountain.
「織田信長！」
“Oda Nobunaga!”
「貴様は甘くなった！」
“You have become weak!”
「昔のように恐怖で支配すればよいものを！」
“You should rule through fear like you did before!”
信長は敵を見上げる。
Nobunaga looked up at his enemy.
「確かに、昔のワシは恐れられることを望んだ。」
“Indeed, the old me wanted to be feared.”
「だが、今は違う。」
“But now, I am different.”
「人々が安心して暮らせる国こそ、余が求める天下だ。」
“A land where people can live peacefully is the world I seek.”
黒鬼玄武は笑う。
Kuroki Genbu laughed.
「くだらぬ理想だ！」
“What a foolish ideal!”
「力ある者だけが生き残る！」
“Only the strong survive!”
秀吉が前へ出る。
Hideyoshi stepped forward.
「違う！」
“Wrong!”
「上様が作った天下は、弱き者を守るためのものだ！」
“The world my lord created exists to protect the weak!”
家康も続く。
Ieyasu followed.
「戦の時代へ戻すわけにはいかぬ。」
“We cannot allow the world to return to an age of war.”
弥助は静かに刀を構える。
Yasuke quietly raised his sword.
「上様の未来を、誰にも壊させない。」
“I will not let anyone destroy my lord’s future.”
信長は刀を天へ掲げた。
Nobunaga raised his sword toward the sky.
「全軍、進め！」
“All troops, advance!”
「民を守るための戦じゃ！」
“This is a battle to protect the people!”
「決して退くな！」
“Do not retreat!”
「おおおおお！！」
“OOOOH!!”
織田軍の雄叫びが大地を揺らした。
The roar of the Oda army shook the earth.
そして――。
本能寺で終わるはずだった男と、乱世を望む男の最後の戦いが始まった。
And so, the final battle between the man who was supposed to die at Honno-ji and the man who desired chaos had begun.
歴史を変えた信長の第二の人生。
The second life of Nobunaga, who changed history.
その答えが、今、戦場で示されようとしていた。
The answer would now be revealed on the battlefield.
