Chapter 5: Will You Marry Me?
In a certain room inside the castle, a meeting is happening. Twelve students, eleven students sitting on chairs with a long table in front of them, five on both sides and one at the north end of the table, and one student that is meticulously serving tea. They are members of the student council of the school where June is studying.
"What are we gonna do now, President?" A question was thrown in the air.
The girl being asked, a girl with very long black hair is still rattled on what happened earlier, the scene still vivid on her mind.
Let's go back to a few hours ago, when the teachers came to discuss the whole summoning thing with the royalties, a heated argument began. The student council responsible for governing the students was also invited to come along with the teaching faculty, as essentially they have every rights to complain about the abrupt transportation of a large number of students to another world. Someone may think that enjoying a life in another world wasn't so bad but that's not the case for most of the students, they have life and dreams back on their own world but the king of the kingdom where they are summoned are telling them to give up on those, the summoning is a one-way trip and there's no stories of heroes getting back to their own world, the king stated.
The homeroom teacher of Class 2-C, a man who doesn't like the idea of being shackled and can't forgive how the king abuse his authority stood up and spoke everything the school faculty wanted to say. Although he was easily decapitated, the moment the sword went through his neck to the moment his head fell to the ground was completely seen by everyone inside the throne room, and that wouldn't leave her mind. The king's answer to their complaints was a simple question, "Is that all?", the teachers was silenced and he left without looking back at the otherworlders. He can easily snuff the life out all of them if he wanted to, the power he intended to show was properly ingrained into their mind.
"President?" They are prisoners or maybe slaves that has no way of escape, that thought came to her mind and it scared her.
"President, you should rest a little." A gentle tap came to her shoulder, she didn't even notice when did the boy with a brown hair walked to her side.
Surprisingly, that tap woke her mind up, and in front of her fellow comrades who always supported her, she couldn't stay depressed. The situation might be hopeless but she's sure that there's something they can do.
"Let's first follow what the teachers said and wait for their decision." She stood up and tapped the table for everyone to hear.
"Shouldn't we inform the students what happened?" A guy wearing glasses asked.
"That'll only cause unnecessary panic, Vice President, we can't spread what happened even in secret as long as we don't have a means of escape, we also don't have any information on how to remove the invisible collars they put on us... at all." She unconsciously clenched her fists in frustration.
"Still they're not completely eliminating our movements, training us to get stronger and to hone our survival instincts." The secretary, a girl wearing glasses slowly set the teas one by one in front of the members in a graceful fluid motion. "Probably to use us in their war, they're not gonna kill us easily since they absolutely need us, the king only showed what would happen to anyone that would defy him... a warning if you say."
"Where did you get these tea?" The vice president asked.
"I met a maid earlier and asked if I can have some, I'm pretty sure no one ate yet since we arrived at this place so I also asked for some snacks." After placing the cookies on the center of the table, she stood behind the president.
"Your mentality is too strong." The vice president muttered to himself, then came along a dry laugh.
"Thank you, Niina." The president took a sip to calm herself down, then continued the discussion. "For now we should tell every student to focus on getting stronger, survivability is a must, I don't want to lose someone again..... then we select a handful few who could help us investigate, to find information about these collars and how to remove them, and if there's a way to get back to our own world, that's our main priority."
"Sorry President, I don't know much about this genre... I should ask my ex-boyfriend about this, since this is kind of his expertise."
"Sure... you mean June." The secretary gave her a nod.
"Hey, you going to June, can I come too?"
"Ummm..."
As everyone is already starting to do their own thing and feeling the meeting already finished, a shy girl with her bangs covering her eyes timidly raised her right hand. The president noticing her proceeded her to go on but at that moment her eyes met with a rat on the corner of the room, they stared at each other for a few seconds before it left.
".....nothing."
"Oh, Okay."
With confusion and unfamiliarity in the midst, the student council managed to take a step in this another world.

My head hurts, that's the first thing I felt after waking up. Opening my eyes, I see ceiling and walls I don't recognize, where the hell I am? The last thing I remember was fighting the knight. Mana deficiency is really bad, not gonna do that again.
"You've finally woken up... *sob*... I was worried... *sob*... why wouldn't you wake up?" I moved myself from my lying position and sit on the bed like a patient, with Haruka obviously fake crying besides me.
"How long have I been sleeping?" I asked her.
"You've been sleeping for two weeks." That's absolutely a lie, you shouldn't exaggerate too much if you want to make it truthful, atleast make it three days, two weeks is obviously too much. "I didn't think you'll do something like that just for a bet."
"Eh? So I've been sleeping for a while... pretty lady." I rubbed my head acting bashful. "Are you the one taking care of me? If it is, thank you for taking care of me."
"That's right you should thank me-..... Wait, did you just call me pretty lady?" Trying to trick me huh?, then she wouldn't mind if I trick her too. "You don't remember me?" She asked after suddenly getting too close, close enough we would kiss if someone make the wrong move.
"You're too close, Miss." I pushed her lightly to widen the distance between us and looked away, pretending I'm embarrassed. "Sorry, I don't remember meeting someone as beautiful as you, Miss."
"Eh? Who are you?" She backed away and held her head. "You're not the June I know, you must be an evil spirit. The June I know would be sniffing me right now just because I got close to him." Oi, I'm not like that, does she really think I'm that much of a pervert? "Is this the memory loss thing that Fio said?" She's cute when she's confused so I guess it's alright to forgive her for insulting me.
After that she asked me several questions which I denied, saying I don't remember anything at all which resulted in her amusing state.
While Haruka is clutching her head in the corner of the room for a few minutes, flabbergasted and confused, wondering what's happening, the door opened from the outside and Fio let himself in.
"Oh, you already woke up, is your body okay? If you're fine we can go to the school dormitory and get your room." He looks tired and seems to be in a hurry. "The sun is already starting to go down so it's better if we speed up, you might not get a room if we're late." He's handling the distribution of room for me so I guess he's handling the same thing with my classmates too.
"Okay." I went out of the bed immediately and looked at myself first. Okay, there's nothing wrong with my body. "Let's go." I don't want to create more work for Fio and... Haruka is really bad at lying, how can I be sleeping for two weeks when I'm still wearing my school uniform, it's impossible they didn't change my uniform for two weeks.
"..." Why are you looking at me like that?
"C'mon let's go." I said to Haruka.
Wait, wait, wait, don't choke me.

...and I didn't get a room, because of Haruka.
"This is all your fault." I pointed at Haruka. "I told you to stop over and over again but you wouldn't let go of me, I even said I'm not into choking play, you've committed abuse and violence, I'm gonna report you to the teacher." I said while hugging my own body and fake crying.
"Hey, wording." Haruka retorted.
"Haha..." Fio can only laugh and sigh at our conversation. "It's not Haruka-san's fault, they don't have enough rooms anymore, the kingdom underestimated the number of students they summoned."
Apparently the summoning is already planned by the kingdom a year ago. That's why they built a school building and school dormitories in this specific area where we were brought, we have a place where we can train and a place where we can rest, very thoughtful if I say. The room where I'm resting earlier is also part of the school building, that's called the medical room that's why there are shelves full of potions inside it, if it's in our world it's probably something similar to the nurse office.
There are still a hundred or two that haven't receive a room, and the sky is already starting to get dark, I wonder where we would sleep for the day? Is what I'm thinking as Fio walked over and started talking to a knight.
"Did you already have a room, Haruka?"
"Yeah, since our class got here early, I think you're the only one in our class that's gonna sleep outside." Hey, don't say something like that, just looking at the sky makes me feel cold already.
"Sure... anyways, where's my kiss?"
"Bastard, you're gonna really bring that up right now... ain't gonna do it, you cheated." She pouted.
"I see... hehehehehehehehehehe..."
"What's with that creepy smile and laugh? What are you thinking?" Hey, that's harsh, how can you say that to my innocent smile? "You're not thinking of forcing me, are you? Why are you walking slowly towards me... get away from me."
"Haruka, I just think you're always like this when we're betting, you always say I'm cheating." Walking like a zombie, I slowly closed our distance.
"You're cheating most of the time, I'm just saying the truth... kyaaa... don't come near me!" She started running.
"It's not cheating when I don't violate the rules." I said I don't violate it but there's no rule saying that you can't twist it a little.
We were running around, I was chasing her when Fio came to us after talking to the knight.
"The higher-ups decided to use the unused rooms in my school, I think it would be enough since there's not much students who use the dorms in our school." Fio told us.
"Is it far from here?" I stopped chasing Haruka but I don't want to walk, she mentioned that our instructor carried me on the way here, is there someone who would like to carry me again?
"Not really, it's only besides this school." Thank goodness, it's a walking distance.
As soon as he said that we followed him and exited the dormitory and then the school grounds, and then left through a large white gate. After leaving the school, what I saw in front of me is a wide road made of stone and nothing but trees all around. We walked for a few minutes and along the way we passed a spot where we can see the two schools perfectly with the dormitories and the setting sun on the background, if I have a camera right now I would absolutely love to take a picture.
"Is this area surrounded by a forest?"
"It's not much of a forest but there are more greenery in this part, you can easily escape this place since the nearest settlement is only a few kilometers away from here." Fio explained.
"Did they built the school this far so the students doesn't damage anything when we're training?" I can't think of any other reason they'll built it in a place with nothing but trees.
"Ping Pong Ping Pong, you're correct." Fio turned a full circle before pointing at me, then he blushed and hid his face with his book. What the hell is that? That's so fucking cute.
Before I know it I'm already on my knees.
"I know it's too fast and we only meet earlier but will you marry me?" I asked after taking his right hand which he didn't move since he's confused what I'm doing.
"What the hell are you talking about? Let's go, it's gonna get dark already." Haruka proceeded without a care for my precious feelings.
