I Met Doc
He was in the garden wearing a white robe and seemed to be doing a scientific experiment. And he noticed me standing there hopelessly, so he came out from the garden and glanced at my bike and me and said somewhat joyfully, “Wow, your bike is totally wrecked!” Then he went to drag my bike into the garden. But when he glanced at the dog poop on the front wheel, he returned to the garden and fetched something like a fire extinguisher, then said, “This chemical solution can sterilize any kind of bacteria or viruses” and washed the front wheel perfectly, then he took my bike into the garden and fixed it almost in an instant using many kinds of tools most of which I’ve never seen. And he even ‘remodeled’ the gearbox of my bike from a three speed to a six. With the gearbox fixed, I could climb slopes very easily and go faster on flat roads.
Anyhow, I was really astonished and thought that he must really be an amazing person! Then Doc said,
“So you must repay me for my favor.” and he told me to work as an assistant for his experiment. The work lasted for nearly an hour but I had no idea what kind of experiment he was doing only that it was something ‘scientific’.
Since then, I became close friends with Doc and I went to his house sometimes. He told me various things especially about science and showed me many kinds of scientific machines, most of which seemed to me, no more than ‘pile of junk’. And sometimes he exclaimed, “I’ve invented something really works!”, usually, was something so mysterious such as ‘Brain Prospective Apparatus’.
On the other hand since the hijacking, every time I ran into Devil, he hassled me for money. But it wasn’t my fault! So I felt very bad! But as long as he was stronger than I, there seemed to be nothing I could do about it and was the cause of my worries.
