Ebony Drago Knight Armor
Liza and I made our way back into the forge with various cards from the both of us laid out in front of us. We both looked through our collections, searching for what we think would work best in card crafting.
“So what were you thinking of? I can basically make anything with my soul card so the more creative the better.” (Liza)
“Speaking of which, do you still have any soul cards left? It took forever to get one to fix Raiden’s swords back in the cavern.” (Arin)
“That’s all taken care of. The experience I gained fighting that dragon let me acquire a total of three soul cards. I have more than enough to handle your order.” (Liza)
“You seem more excited about this then I do.” (Arin)
“Well aside from Raiden’s swords it’s been so long since I’ve been able to craft anything. We producers live to create something new. It’s what drives us. Not to mention we can make something pretty incredible with everything we found recently. Why wouldn’t I be excited.” (Liza)
“Alright, since that’s the case we might as well go all out for this.” (Arin)
“Say no more. So what were you thinking of, a sword, spear, maybe a bit more unconventional like an axe?” (Liza)
“No weapons this time. I was actually thinking of having a complete set of plate armor made.” (Arin)
“Really? That’s going to be a big order. If we’re going to be making that I’ll need a card of full body armor to use as a base. I think there was something around here… There it is. I found this when going over the dragons treasure.” (Liza)
Silver Knights Armor

- Full body armor made of magic iron and silver. It is hard to move around in but provides incredible defense again physical attacks and dark attribute magic. The users defense stat increases by 50 and their speed stat decreases by 20.
The armor looked exactly as I had envisioned in my head. Full plate knight armor from head to toe, leaving no weak spots exposed. The added bonus of physical and darkness resistance was a nice bonus. The previous owner of this armor probably thought he could take down the black dragon with something this powerful. Although now it was part of the dragons treasure that we were able to acquire.
“This is perfect. Good job finding that.” (Arin)
“Yeah, something like this as a base will make excellent armor. We should also use some of the mithril and manatite crystals we gathered. That just leaves one spot left.” (Liza)
“I have the perfect thing for that final spot. What do you think of this?” (Arin)
Black Dragon Scales

- Black scales that once covered the body of a powerful dragon. Its durability is stronger then most rare metals and contains a great resistance to mana. Recommended material for armor or weapons.
We struggled so much trying to piece the dragons scales in battle. Now however they would be the perfect material in making some of the strongest armor imaginable.
“Finally, I was waiting for you to bring up the dragon materials. Although I wish we were using the dragons mana stone too.” (Liza)
“I have an idea of how to use that for something else. For now lets see what we get using all of this.” (Arin)
“You better keep that promise. I was looking forward to that mana stone.” (Liza)
“Could we please get back to the card crafting?” (Arin)
After that brief back and forth Liza activated her [Card Craft] skill. The usual bright screen pops up for both of us to see. Liza meticulously places the cards we plan to use as materials into each corner until places on the board are filled. The material cards disassemble and reassemble into Liza’s [Armament] card. Liza grabs the card out from the air. We both look with anticipation of what we just created.
Ebony Drago Knight Armor

The power of a dragon resides within the armor that increases magical attack and defense as well as boosting the effects of dark and fire magic by 30%. The skill [Shadow Dive] can be used when wearing this armor.
“The ranking is just what I expected thanks to the manatite, though I was hoping to make something stronger this is still the great armor I’ve ever made.” (Liza)
Liza was smiling ear to ear looking at the card she just crafted. Her happiness was contagious and me and Pebble were both expressing how happy this made us.
“Thank you Liza, this is just what I was hoping for. So how much should I pay you for the card?” (Arin)
“What are you talking about Arin? Part of your reward for guarding me in the mines was getting custom weapons and armor for your first purchase free.” (Liza)
“Are you sure that’s okay? This is probably legendary class armor. Even the royal family of various kingdoms would kill to have something like this.” (Arin)
“If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t be standing here right now. I would never have been let out into the mines. This is thanks for letting me experience the world outside this shop. So take it and be grateful already.” (Liza)
“Alright, I’ll make sure to put it to great use.” (Arin)
Liza hands me the newly crafted armor card. Now that all of that was finished it was time for me to do some crafting for myself.
“So what exactly is your plan for this card anyway? It’s not like it’s any better then what Pebble can make for you.” (Liza)
“What else, if I won’t use it then I’ll make someone else who can. Activate [Card Craft]!
Just like with Liza I now activated my [Card Craft] skill, making the bright screen from before appear in front of me with my soul card at the center of it. I had one extra soul card from my fight back with the lightning fang tiger but now I gained two more from fighting the black dragon for a total of three. Now that I had acquired such rare and unique cards from adventuring I was finally ready for crafting for the first time in a while.
The first card I used was the newly acquired Ebony Drago Knight Armor. My idea was that with something like this I could create someone that could act as a tank in our group. The fight with the black dragon really opened my eyes to having someone with strong defenses to support the party. And the added fact of it being made with dragon materials would help in increasing offensive power too.
The next card I used were of the black dragons wings.
Black Dragon Wings

- Wings of a black dragon. They are light and flexible while also strong enough to defend against most attacks. The length of each wing reaches 40 ft. It is a recommended material for flexible and light weight armor.
Hopefully with the dragons wings my created character will retain the ability to fly, adding more options to its uses in battle. The next card after that is of the dragons organ that allowed it to breath fire.
Black Dragon Flame Sack

- This organ resided in the neck of a black dragon. With it flame elemental magic could be formed inside it almost instantaneously, allowing for powerful breath attacks. It is a highly sought after item to be used in alchemy and weapon enchanting. When used in crafting it has the potential to add a flame element to the finished product.
Using the flame sack my idea was to give my character strong fire based attacks to deal major damage in combat. No one in our party can use fire magic, so making sure that it’s one of their specialties will make them more reliable.
One spot was left now. I didn’t want to use dragon based cards for every material, so I wondering for a while what would make for the final card. Looking at the cards I had before going to the mines not many seemed like they would pair well with everything else.
Finally I decided what the final card I should use be. My dagger Midnight Shadow increases the speed of the user and makes sneak attacks stronger. The speed boost might be able to compensate with how heavy the armor is while adding attributes that pair well with the armors dark element.
The moment I placed the final card in place a blinding light illuminated from the board while fusing together ever material down to the last molecule. And as everything was coming together the my newly crafted card began taking a humanoid similarly to how it was when I crafter Raiden.
The brilliant light finally died down and stand before all of use stood the character I had just created. They wore the black armor Liza had crafted moments earlier with two mighty dragon wings protruding from their back. In their right hand was a black sword that looked in appearances as a larger version of Midnight Shadow, and in their left hand was a towering shield that covered half of their body.
The black knight made its way towards me and then knelt down at my feet.
“I thank you my lord for bringing me into this world. I shall be you sword in shield for every battle to come.” (Black Knight)
“Glad to have you on the team. I look forward to working with you.” (Arin)
