Blessings from the Ghost Ship

I apologize if I had stopped the update for a few weeks. I am currently transitioning from another job title and description. The transition was heavy and needed to focus on it for a while.
Although not complete adjusted yet, I should be able to return to rewriting my works.

“Good morning, you all seem to have woken early?” Today was the third day since I took Sera’s whimsical ploy and became supervisor for these 10 students’ Dungeon Run as part of their School Excursion.
“…a great commotion...” Sara who do not usually converse, answered me. That alone speaks volume how great the commotion was. She was usually with princess Hisui and tends to shy away from people. Thankfully she seems to have no problem with me and respond, albeit using very few words.
Curious, I looked at the surrounding and found multiple guests from the resort-inn we were lodging. There were no one sitting or standing alone as each guests have a lively conversation with what seems to be the cause of the commotion.
“We are sorry for the noise.” The proprietress of the resort-inn we were staying greeted us apologetically. “I will make sure to reprimand the employees…”
The inn, the Elite Magus Class is currently lodging was a beautiful resort-inn that undermines 5-star beach resorts in my previous world. It had the size and aesthetics that many people who wanted luxurious summer getaway. According to the pamphlets, it was roughly 5.7 in square miles. It had amenities and facilities that could get you relax just by looking at it.
It even had a grandiose name – The Paradise Getaway. Right this instant the Paradise Getaway was in turmoil with a certain commotion.
“It’s quite alright, these kids needed to wake up early anyways.” Seeing that Sara tried to respond positively with towards the proprietress but could only shake her head (the way her silver hair follows her sway made her cute by the way), so I decided to respond on her behalf and asked what caused the commotion in the first place. “So, what was the commotion all about?”
“I really don’t want to scare costumers away… so it is probably nothing… but…” The way the proprietress hesitated to answer my queries, the news that made this much fuss could probably close businesses if not handled carefully.
“We will be staying here for few more days. The students will have another volleyball match and will probably kill this rumor faster than the current news.” I said so to further ease the proprietress mind. Eventually she gave in.
“…well, it is just an old fisherman’s tale really… but a Ghost Ship has been spotted last night.”
“Ha?” I was not really surprised that ghost ships are sighted in this fantasy world. In fact, in some of the books I have read in both the Romaria and Levantis Royal Academy West Wing library there are numerous sightings of Ghost Ships and in those books mentioned that Ghost Ships are one of the most prominent Natural Haunts in Resmere. To further state facts, there are apparently 37 ghost ships roaming the Resmerian seas.
So having heard about the Ghost Ship was not much of a shocker for me. What shocked me is the fact that it was probably the Grimoire Atelier that was seen last night. I was careful summoning her and making sure that no human presence was in the area. To think that someone else still saw her.
“The Blessed Ghost Ship of Mary Cove saved me last night.” In the middle of the commotion was an elder employee of this very inn, speaking jubilantly at his tale. According to his story of last night’s Ghost Ship sighting, he was so drunk and almost drowned, but then a ship casted a great wave and pushed him to the shores. “Had it not for the Blessed Ghost Ship… I would have died. She must be telling me to stop drinking and treasure life more.”
His words were shock after shock. This elderly employee really must have drowned and died so did not show with my MANA and KI Perceptions Skills but somehow resuscitated when he got back to shore after I summoned Grimoire Atelier.
“Don’t worry miss proprietress, I assure you, you will not lose customers from these.” Although I just wanted to save Grim-chan persecuted as ill omen, it did not change that the way this elder talked about it will probably call-in tourist in the area. I remembered when sightings of UFO became natural tourist spots; this will probably have the same effect here. “Allow him to speak his tale for a while and this inn will probably have lots of customers.”
The proprietress was a bit hesitant, but decided to follow my advice and allow the elderly employee to sing more praises for the Grimoire Atelier.
Now you might wonder why there was a need to summon the Grimoire Atelier last night. To that, allow me to go back a few hours back.

There was no mistake to it the Blessed Ghost Ship the elder employee was speaking off is definitely the Grimoire Atelier. The night before, after lights out, I was thinking that my usual set up is not good for the dungeon run and so decided to summon Grimoire Atelier. Thankfully, some of the nearby shores was devoid of people and would be perfect for summoning the Grimoire Atelier without anybody noticing it.
“Okay better get my preparations done.” After making sure that the princess and the others have finally slept, I made my way to the shores and summoned the Grimoire Atelier. The sheer size of Grimoire Atelier casted a small wave in the surrounding waters but thankfully it did not make too much of a sound and so did not alert anyone, at least that was what I thought. In the morning, the next day a commotion will make its way the ‘Paradise Getaway’.
Back to the issue at hand, I needed to do a few things before our dungeon run. There is something different to this particular Dungeon Run that requires me to change to a different setup.
First is that I am not alone, unlike when I challenged the Nameless Dungeon where I only thought of protecting myself from all perils. That will not be the same here however, there were ten students along with me. All of them would be entering the dungeon for the first time.
One would argue that, during my Dark Forest Dungeon run, I was with two others (Ran and Len) and was able to protect them. But allow me to reiterate something here… two is definitely not the same as ten. It would be a grave mistake to that me alone would be able to protect ten students it could cause their lives and so decided to prepare.
The second most underlying reason that prompt me to prepare is the presence of the princess of this kingdom. It will hamper my travels if I get myself hunted for causing death to royalty. Teacher Sera, I hope to answer your trust in me, but did you really have to push this kind of responsibility to a non-academic staff? No matter how big her authority is, this would be bad if something happens to the princess of this kingdom.
Therefore, I decided to make sure that I am in fully geared and prepared during this Dungeon Run.
For one, I needed to augment my current gear. The gears I am wearing is my utility uniform, which will never offer any protection… I might as well go in naked. There should be some spoils from previous dungeon runs that I can equip to protect me.
I also needed to replace the broken ‘Metal Forge Trial Series’ that I used on the Ancient Tower Dungeon in the Detachment Room. While I could still use the broken ones, they might not be able to aide me if I encounter stronger opponents inside the dungeon. While I won’t be able to craft any ‘Metal Forge Trial’ blades as it requires time, I did have some spoils from the Nameless Dungeon which I could use for the time being.
Lastly and should be the first things I should do is take off a troublesome Title and replace it with something more useful.

Retrieving the gears I had bought on my journey towards Levantis Royal Acemy inside the ‘The Cabinet’. I then augmented it with some of the spoils I had taken as spoils from Dark Forest Dungeon and the Nameless Dungeon.

I also made sure to fill in new equipment in the Detachment room. One thing to note, since I still had some surplus of Magic Cores I decided to increase the Detachment Rooms allowing it to store 10 more items.

For this run, I also decided to change my containers for something else. I had swapped ‘The KITCHEN CABINET’ for the ‘The GUN POWDER BARREL’, as the name suggest is a barrel that stores gunpowder, I had bought some in the Academy City so that I can finally use to practice my gun arts. I also temporarily swap ‘The SMALL BOOKSHELF’ for ‘The BULLET BOX’, another container that I created to store bullets for my musket.
After deciding what to pack for personal usage, there was still another thing, I needed for this dungeon run in fact this might be the most important one. I need to hurry, if I am to make it in time.
While running towards the mid deck, something caught my attention it was not apparent… something that gets stuck at the back of your head but you can’t seem to pinpoint it. One thing for sure, the ambience of the Grimoire Atelier seems different somehow. I am not sure what… it might just be my imagination though, after all I have not been here for a more than 4 months now.
Leaving the unknown feeling behind, I decided to move along to create the things that I need the most for the specific dungeon run.
The materials I needed were wood, so proceeded to run for ‘The Garden’ and got some wooden supplies.
Thankfully, some of the trunks I had planted on experiment here in ‘The Garden’ had grown and propagated magnificently. The seed are also sprouting well, in a few more years I should have a forest inside a ship. While I was curious about the Yggdrasil seeds, I had planted, I decided to leave it for another time. I then took a few of woods in the vicinity and dashed towards ‘The Atelier’.
The ‘Atelier’, is a place I created where I can craft. Using the wooden materials I had harvested in the ‘Garden’, I started to craft the equipment I needed. I only have 5 hours to make them I hope I make it in time.
5 hours would have been impossible to make the equipment I wanted if I was not familiar with how to do craft it. However, thanks to the instructions I got from the [Lizardmen] and [Lizardwomen] in the ‘Nameless Forest Island’, my crafting skills had leveled-up considerable allowing me to craft the equipment that I wanted with moderate ease.
Thankfully, I just barely made it and slept for 30 minutes in my room at the inn. The next day I woken by the commotion, I had created the previous night. Well everything is ready and I am hoping that the students are too, for today we will start treading the dungeon.
