3 The foundation of this universe and entities

3 The foundation of this universe and entities

  Nothingness doesn't exist

The foundation of this universe and entities

  《 Nothingness doesn't exist 》

Nothingness doesn't exist. This was discovered and expressed by French philosopher Bergson (Henri-Louis Bergson). It seems true.

However, Dutch philosopher Spinoza (Baruch De Spinoza, Benedictus De Spinoza) also seems to have expressed a similar meaning. Spinoza wrote as follows.

Nothing comes from nothing. This and similar propositions, I say, are called eternal truths in an absolute sense.

And the fact that nothingness doesn't exist can be explained as follows.

Explanation 1:

The word nothingness means something which doesn't exist. It also means at the same time a state in which nothing exists. However, such things cannot be embodied. There exists nothing which can embody such things on its own. For this reason, such a thing, i.e., nothingness doesn't exist.

Explanation 2:

If something is not nothingness, that is, if something is being (= other than nothingness), then the being is existent. As long as something is not nothingness, that is, something is being, then it is always existent. In other words, if something exists, the something is not nothingness. Even if something exists as some thing, the something can never exist as nothingness.

Explanation 3:

The word nothingness means something which doesn't exist. It also means at the same time a state in which nothing exists. Here, we suppose that nothingness can exist. However, assuming this, the assumption would on the spot go against the meaning of nothingness. And, immediately it follows that the first assumption was false and nothingness cannot exist.

To put it simply, nothingness cannot exist. There is just a convenient word "nothingness" which can express in a single word the concept that there exists nothing. Nothingness is nonexistent. Nothingness is a paradox. As soon as nothingness begins to exist, it becomes a paradox. It's because nothingness cannot be embodied.

《 The foundation of this universe and entities 》

According to Bergson, a French philosopher, and Spinoza, a Dutch philosopher, nothingness doesn't exist. It seems true. So, even though it's not known what it is, something needs to exist.

And, there is energy in this universe firstly. Energy is very strange, but matter is said to be equivalent to this energy. Energy seems to be the foundation of this universe. While energy itself is an entity, it is an element of all other entities.

And, everything which is formed by energy that is the foundation is physical and an entity. It seems that being formed from energy is the essence of "physical" and entities. Actions which are formed from entities are also entities. Higgs bosons which are said to form space and bring mass to matter are also entities. Space is an entity. Practically everything which exists in this universe is an entity.

  ................

Moreover, the universe continues to move dynamically. Matter, also, though it doesn't move spontaneously outwardly, continues to move --operate-- spontaneously and independently internally.

For instance, there is a concept of "wave-particle duality" in physics, and it is understood that matter has two aspects, wave mode and particle aspect. However, both a wave and a particle are nothing but static results (morphological traces, physical properties, scalars) which emerge through measuring by physical means. For example, though a trace of particle is left --also, wave property is suggested by a lot of traces of particle--, the experimental fact doesn't necessarily mean that far as the true nature of matter is a particle. The experimental fact means that some fundamental actions that enable such experimental fact to be left work inside matter. Since this area is the base of the existence of matter, there is no choice but to introduce actions which enable the existence or such existential modes. Thereby, rather, such actions seem to be the true nature of matter. Matter can leave no result (trace) unless actions work. (So it can be said that actions inherent in matter are vectors. This is because those actions operate spontaneously, independently, and actively. So to speak, matter has the "vector-scalar duality", the "activeness-passivity duality", or the "subject-object duality").

(The result of) the wave-particle duality is brought by the working of some actions which enable the appearance of it. And, a trace of particle is brought by the working of fundamental interactions (and other actions which complement their workings).

In short, the real true nature of matter is neither a particle nor a wave, but is actions which are inherent in matter and continue to work spontaneously, independently, and actively.

In terms of this, actions of matter which are the direct causes that bring movements to the universe and matter can also be regarded as the foundation of the universe.

And, it seems that those matter actions are embodied with energy directly.

(However, if it's not probed finely, it looks like it's usually understood that a particle is the true nature of matter.

However, also in this case, a solid particle doesn't seem to be the true nature of matter. Rather, it seems that a close aggregate of energy which embodies actions just looks like a particle, just leaves a trace of particle. (The true nature of matter is energy or actions embodied with energy that is unobservable)).

  ................

Moreover, entities are not necessarily limited to being macroscopic. A microscopic --intangible, difficult or impossible to observe or measure, and ordinary laws of physics are not applicable-- thing can also be an entity if it's embodied with energy. For example, matter actions, from the fundamental interactions down, are exactly microscopic. (Matter actions cannot leave macroscopic results (morphological traces) unless they are microscopic. It can also be said that, because of being ones which bring macroscopis results, matter actions can only be microscopic).

  ................

And, it's not proper to say that such things exist, but it seems that, in this universe, what are not entities --macroscopic or microscopic-- also occur dynamically during a short while. They are bodily sensation, thoughts, and mind. It seems that they appear and disappear dynamically as something like a shadow or monitor of the movement of the bodily sensing action and the thinking action which are equipped in consciousness, and consciousness itself.

And these are ideas. Ideas do not exist as entities embodied with energy, but appear dynamically as something like a shadow of some action's movements which are entities. And, ideas are not physical because they are not entities.

(By the way, the above is just a surmise. It is like a model to make it easier to imagine bodily sensation, thoughts, mind, ideas, and consciousness).
