18. The Dark Lord 魔王
While Junta and Xiaomeng were focusing on training their own elemental powers while working together to fight evil beings that surfaced in human society that came from the evil forces that stole the seal that kept the powerful Demon Lord Ivanov, they also improved their control of their powers and they slowly outgrew the need for their power-binding wristbands, but they kept them on just in case. In addition, the both of them proceeded to go in depth into their study of the theories of magic and sorcery and impart it to their students.
人類社会に出没して魔王イヴァノフの封印を奪った悪魔と戦い乍純太と小夢が自分の元素力に集中していた間に、自分の力の制御を向上させ、力を制限する手首は最早必要無く成ったが、万が一の為に付けといた。更に、両方魔法魔道理論に深入り研究し、生徒に伝授しようとした。
Magic and sorcery were different. Magic happened in nature and there was no system or order, and they are just magical phenomenon powered by a magical power source called 'mana', but sorcery involved invoking stored procedures embedded in the magic circuits of their bodies to perform magical tasks. For most people, all they were doing was invoking the stored procedures through verbal commands, and the magic schools were teaching you to do just that. However, the research into this field delves down into controling magic at code level so that magical tasks can be performed even without these stored procedures.
魔法と魔導はちょっと字がっていた。魔法が大自然で発生し、秩序が無かった、魔力の存在によって発生した現象だったが、魔導とは魔法回路内部貯蔵手順を発動して魔法作業を実行。大半の人に取って、口頭発令により内部貯蔵手順を発動していただけだったし、魔法学校もそれを教えていただけだった。しかし、此の分野の研究が、コードレベルの魔法の制御を以て、内部貯蔵手順が無くても、そういう魔法作業も実行できるはずだ。
These stored procedures are not just stored in the body, but are also mostly codified in the mana that envelops the Earth. Most of the code are in runes, Chinese characters, Sanskrit text, and so on. Literacy of such text in these languages are an imperative in order to decipher them.
該当内部貯蔵手順は体内のみに貯蔵されるでなく、大分地球を包む魔力にコード化されていた。多くはルーン文字、漢字、梵字等で表されていた。解読するには、該当言語能力が不可欠。
Since they inherited the knowledge from their foster parents, such literacy came naturally. And also, such stored procedures were found in the mana contained on the Earth, and they were linked to that other planet called Midgardia which was located in another solar system. And they also learnt that this was deeply related to Earth's ancient history.
However, the linkage between Earth and Midgardia weaked as time passed, and magic had to make way for modern science.
養父母から知識を継承したので、言語能力が自ずと存在した。其の内部貯蔵手順も、別の太陽系に有った中地界という惑星と連携していた。それが、地球の古代歴史に深く根付いてたが、地球と中地界の連携が時間が経つと共に薄れていて、時代が科学を迎える為に、魔法が人間の神話として歴史のいづこかへ消えていた。
Therefore, many magical races and magical technologies faded out from Earth, and the remaining magical races were annihilated by Earth's humans.
だから、多くの魔法種族と魔法技術が地球から薄れて消えて仕舞、残りの魔法種族が地球の人類に因って殲滅された。
Junta and Xiaomeng scanned their memories and realized that Midgardia was where their foster parents recovered from their curse and acquired and trained their new skills.
純太と小夢が記憶を探り、中地界は養父養母が呪いから回復して、新しい特技を身に着けて訓練した場所だった。
Junta and Xiaomeng inherited such skills and knowledge to add to their training and research schedule, but some skills could not be tested out due to the lack of magic spots on Earth.
純太と小夢がそういう特技と知識を継承し自分の訓練と研究日程に取り入れようとしたが、とある特技は、地球で魔法源泉地点が不足しているので、試す事が出来なかった。
When they traced the research materials in their organization, demons were once very powerful on Earth, but the previous generation of heroes wrecked the energy source of the demons, causing them to weaken, which meant that even if the Demon Lord were to be revived, his minions would need to search for a powerful magic source for him. Junta and Xiaomeng proceeded to search for such magical sources.
組織内研究材料を調べて時代経歴を遡る時、悪魔は元々地球で強力な存在だったが前世代英雄が悪魔の能力源を壊し、奴等を弱ませ、魔王が復活しても、手下が強力な能力源を探索する必要があった。純太と小夢がそういう魔力源を探索に出発した。
One night, there was a loud explosion in their reactor room. They rushed in and found that the system was blown up. That was when they saw their old enemy, right in the flesh, and right in front of them.
或る夜、電力室で爆発が発生した。急いで入って見ると、設備が爆発したと見た。仇敵が目の前だった。
It was Jaculus Ivanov, their old enemy.
仇敵魔王イヴァノフが目の前だった。
He was wearing a red-magenta outer robe reaching the floor over a black inner robe, and his face and hands, the only parts of his body that had his skin exposed, were red-magenta colored.
全身地面迄伸びる赤紫外套を身に纏い、顔も手も赤紫。
Ivanov fired a few bolts of energy at the both of them.
魔王イヴァノフが両者に雷撃の玉を当てさせようとした。
Both of them dodged, and created clones of themselves using their illusion powers that took the appearances they had when they were channeling their elemental powers, and eventually there were altogether 20 of them fighting with Ivanov, and their activated their PPEs and each suit took on the color of their respective elements. Ivanov used his hands to zap the floor with his magical energy and created semi-solid semi-liquid humanoid soldiers to fight with the 20 of them.
両方が避け、分身術で元素能力を持った幻影を多数作り、魔王イヴァノフに攻撃させた。各自保護具を着装し、その保護具も各元素に相当する色で染まった。魔王イヴァノフが地面に雷撃を当て、半液半固人型兵士を生ませた。
After a tough battle involving fistfights, kicks, throws, and the use of their elemental powers against the semi-liquid humanoid soldiers, it was all 20 of them against Ivanov.
元素能力全開で格闘展開、肉弾苦戦が繰り広げられる。
“This time, we’ll take no chances. We’ll destroy you completely,” said Junta.
「今回こそ貴様を殲滅する！」と純太が宣言した。
This was when the rest of the Daybreak Heroes emerged at the same time.
其の時別の黎明英雄が同時出現。
All of them chanted a mantra in unison, not to seal him, but to destroy him for good.
全員同時呪文を念唱した。封印じゃなく、全滅だった。
Multiple letters in different ancient languages including Sanskrit and Chinese appeared, and all of them blasted their elemental powers on Ivanov, vaporising him as he screamed.
梵字、漢字等古代言語文字多数出現、全員が敵に対し集中攻撃、敵が悲鳴を上げながら蒸発した。
Their main enemy, Jaculus Ivanov, was finally, no more.
仇敵イヴァノフ魔王が、終焉を迎えた。
