14. Retrograde Reincarnation and Succession of the Legend 逆行転生及び伝説伝承
They heard a voice speak.
誰かの声が聞こえた。
"Those bracelets are for helping you contain your power, so that is why you are now back to your original forms. You'll need those until you get used to your powers."
「其の手首飾りが君達の力を抑えてるので、元の姿に成ったよ。力に呑み込まれない様に力に慣れて行くには其れらが必要だね」
It was a lady's voice. Both Junta and Xiaomeng found the voice familiar.
とある女性の名前だった。純太も小夢も其の声が懐かしいと思った。
To their surprise, appearing before them were people whom they did not expect to see for a long time.
まさか、久し振り会って無い人達が現れてしまった。
It was Professor Tennojin and Master Pei, both their adopted parents.
其れは天王神博士とペイ師父、養父と養母だった。
And both of them were together.
二人が一緒だった。
Professor Tennojin was Junta's adoptive father, and Master Pei was Xiaomeng's adoptive mother.
天王神は純太の養父で、ペイ師父が小夢の養母だった。
Both of them were together.
二人が一緒だった。
But Junta was shocked, since he also recognized Master Pei, as his first adoptive mother before she divorced him after a series of fierce quarrels.
純太も驚いた。 ペイ師父も知っていたのは、彼女も純太の最初の養母だったが、激しく喧嘩して離婚したって話。
Professor Tennojin explained that they were actually under a spell that was cast by an enemy which affected their attitudes and their behaviors, causing them to quarrel like ordinary human couples, and they had to travel to a faraway planet to find a cure and recuperate, otherwise it would affect their future incarnation, and their lifespan was close to an end despite still appearing young.
天王神博士が説明した。当時敵に呪文を掛けられたので、態度も行動も影響されて、普通人間夫婦みたいに喧嘩してしまって、回復する為に遠い惑星へ旅する必要があった、じゃないと次の転生に影響が出て、外見年少にも関わらず最早寿命尽きに近かった。
Junta was confused by that phrasing. Weren't they human?
純太が説明を聞いてちょっと混乱した。人間じゃないのか？
Xiaomeng explained that they were the descendant of animal spirits who were originally supernatural humans who served the heavenly court residing over the Chinese region of Earth, and they were banished to Earth with their powers demoted to adopt attributes of Earth creatures while having the ability to switch between human and animal form at will, but unable to integrate with human society effectively due to their powers and their abnormally long lifespan, unless they hid their powers. In fact, powerful beings like these formed the Dou Luo (斗羅) tribe which were divided into ten divisions, each division a master of one magical elementy, also known as 'Dou Luo' energy. The Chinese characters Dou Luo were pronounced as 'Tora' in Japanese. The Dou Luo tribes were eventually hunted by authorities and driven to near extinction, and the survivors had to travel far and wide and assimilate into the countries where they settled in, keeping their powers and bloodlines a secret.
小夢は、彼等は皆、中華地域を管轄空中庭園の天廷に仕える超人的存在だったが、天廷で間違いを犯したので人間界に追放され人間の姿でありながら自分の意志で動物に変貌する能力があるし寿命も非常に長かったので、力を隠さない限りは人間社会に溶け込む事が無かった。こう言う超人的存在は斗羅部族を形成し、「斗羅力量」と呼ばれる司った元素に基づいて十の分類に分別された。斗羅部族が結局当局に追われ身となって絶滅寸前だった、遠く散った生存者が別の国家に逃亡し其処の社会に溶け込み、力と血筋の事を秘密にしていた。
By right, to keep their powers and bloodlines pure, interbreeding between tribes was initially forbidden, but some of the Dou Luo tribespeople of the next few generations also intermarried until they produced children who contained all the powers. Initially, the legendary heroes Legend Shahar and Lamona were descendants of families from the Soul Dou Luo tribe, but they contained the powers of all the other tribes, and became the legendary heroes. However, through a twist of fate, their real parents and relatives were hunted down and they eventually survived, got together as lovers, and fought against evil together.
正式的にと言うと、力と血筋の純粋性を保つ為に、部族間交配は最初から禁止されたが、各斗羅部族次数世代部族間結婚し、全部又は複数力量を持ち合わせる次世代の人を作った事があった。最初、黎伝説と藍夢娜も魂斗羅部族後世でありながら他の部族の力を持ち合わせていて、伝説の英雄となったが、運命が人の弄ぶの様に、親と親戚が襲撃を受けて、二人が生き延びて恋人として一緒になって一緒に悪と立ち向かった。、
Legend Shahar and Lamona fought against Ivanov, a demon who was manipulating the Cold War behind the sins who was keen to get rid of the Dou Luo tribes because their powers were a threat to his plans, but Legend Shahar and Lamona eventually sealed him away, with the help of comrades who were currently their mentors whom they currently called Professor Tennojin and Master Pei.
黎伝説と藍夢娜も冷戦を裏から牛耳っていてイヴァノフ魔王と戦った。斗羅部族が奴の計画を脅かす存在だったので斗羅部族を抹殺しようとしたが、黎伝説と藍夢娜が、当時の戦友で現在の恩師、天王神博士とペイ師父と一緒に協力してが奴を封印した。
It turned out that Legend Shahar had the same soul as Master Tennojin and Master Pei had the same soul as Lamona, since Legend Shahar is supposed to be the reincarnation of Professor Tennojin and Lamona was supposed to be the reincarnation of Master Pei.
まさかと思われるが、黎伝説が天王神博士と同じ魂で、ペイ師父が藍夢娜と同じ魂だった。何故なら、黎伝説が天王神博士の転生で、藍夢娜がペイ師父の転生だった。
Of course, you may ask, since Professor Tennojin and Master Pei were not dead yet, how is it that Professor Tennojin, Master Pei, Legend Shahar and Lamona can exist at the same time?
勿論、天王神博士とペイ師父は未だ死んでないので、如何やって転生して同じ時間と空間に存在する事が出来ようか
It was time travel reincarnation.
あれは、逆行転生だった。
After Professor Tennojin and Master Pei fades away, their souls would go back in time to be born as Legend Shahar and Lamona in the past, and grow up to become Legend Shahar and Lamona in the present day.
天王神博士とペイ師父の存在が薄れて消えると、其の魂が逆行転生して、現在の黎伝説と藍夢娜として生まれる。
In other words, when Professor Tennojin and Master Pei were looking after their adopted children, they were not just looking after two individuals different from themselves. They were actually looking after their future incarnations. They were indirectly looking after themselves.
則ち、天王神博士とペイ師父が黎伝説と藍夢娜を養子として引き入れる時、自分と違う別の個人の面倒を見てるだけでなく、未来の自分の面倒を見ていた。
However, time was not on their side. Professor Tennojin and Master Pei were fading away.
だが、時間はもう無かった。天王神博士とペイ師父が消えかけていた。
"It's time for us to go. We have existed for too long," said Professor Tennojin.
「私が去る時間です。もう長生き過ぎた」と天王神博士が言った。
"Hey, wait, no! We have so much to talk about!" said Junta.
「おい、待って！話したい事が山程あるというのに」と純太が言った。
"That's right", echoed Xiaomeng.
「そうだよ」と小夢が同じ意見を強調した。
"Quick, there is something we must do now. We must transfer our powers, abilities, experiences, and memories to you, as we proceed on our next journey," said Professor Tennojin.
「速く！一刻も早く、次の人生に旅立つ前に、力、能力、経験、記憶を君達に転送する必要がある」と天王神博士が言った。
"Next journey?" asked Xiaomeng.
「次の人生に旅立つ」と小夢が訊いた。
"We are fading away, but we will be reborn. Our souls will travel to the past to be born as you. But as you are now, you are still inexperienced and will be vulnurable in this world without our help. So therefore, we will impart our knowledge and experience to you, so that we can protect yourselves better," said Master Pei.
「私達が消えて行くが、又生まれ変わる。私達の魂が過去に旅立ち、君達として生まれ変わる。今の君達としては未だ人生経験未熟で、此の世界で私達の助けが無ければ未だ無防備な状態。故に、もっと自分を守れるように、私達の知識と経験を伝授する」とペイ師父が言った。
"We were not only protecting you, as our successors. We were also protecting ourselves, our future selves, our future incarnations", said Professor Tennojin. "We must start the ritual immediately."
「後継者として私達が君達を守ってるだけでなく。私達が未来の自分、未来の転生した自分を守ってる」と天王神博士が言ってた。「直ちに儀式を始めよう。」
Tennojin chanted a spell and a magic circle appeared on the ground, and many beams of light in different colors twined around the four of them, and the transfer of powers and knowledge began.
天王神博士が呪文を唱えて、魔法陣が地面に現れて、多色多彩の光線が彼等四人の周りに捩じり廻り、力と知識の伝授が始まった。
Once the process was over, both mentors faded away, and their souls began their journey of reincarnation, to the past, to be reborn as Legend Shahar and Lamona.
伝授工程終了途端、恩師二人消失、二人魂魄過去へ逆行転生開始、黎伝説と藍夢娜として生まれ変わる為に。
As Junta and Xiaomeng scanned their memories for the new information that entered their heads as a result of the ritual, they noticed that the dimension they were in were created by their mentors, was a spell for them to enter a separate dimension from the world so that they could train, and they could create this world any time, in any form that they preferred.
儀式が齎した結果として純太と小夢が記憶をスキャンして頭に入る新しい情報を探るべく、自分達が入った異次元は恩師により作られた物だと知った。その異次元は訓練する為に出来た物であり、いつでもどんな形にでもこの異次元を形成する事ができると解った。
They also learnt that they have a new set of bracelets to help them seal off their powers when they did not need them. Since they were new to their powers, summoning all their Dou Luo powers at one go may hurt their body, so it was more advisable to summon one element at one of them if they needed it, and that would mean changing their appearance a bit. Since Professor Tennojin and Master Pei did not have time to explain, they learned about it while scanning their memories.
記憶を探ると、手首に手首飾りが着いた理由とは、要らない時に力を封鎖する為であった。力を新しくつけ始めたので、全ての斗羅の力を一気召喚すると体を傷づける事ができるので、必要次第一回一元素召喚した方が身の為で、其れが自分の容貌を一時的に変換する事になる。天王神博士とペイ師父が説明する暇が無かったので、記憶をスキャンする事で情報を得た。
They both took the portal to leave the dimension which was meant to be only a training ground and honeymoon getaway for them.
両者が異次元門を潜って、恋愛且訓練場用異次元を離脱した。
They gained a lot, in terms of powers, skills, and happiness which came in the form of a romantic partner, though they lost their mentors who were actually their past life incarnations.
力量上技術上、両者が多く得ただけでなく、幸せは恋愛相手を通して得た。勿論、前世化身であった両名の恩師が消えたのが残念だけど。
However, the both of them already know that they purpose of their awakening was one that was far greater than themselves. In fact, it was an old score waiting to be settled.
然し、両者は最早覚醒目的は自分の存在より遥かに大きい事だと知った。実は、それが、長い歴史からの決着を着ける時が来た。
And nobody knew when that moment will come, because the spherical prison that was dig up, was still missing.
そして、その時がいつ来るか解らない仕舞いだった。何故なら、掘り出されたあの球型封印は未だ行方不明だった。
