The Last Wish of the Prisoner
After killing Louis, Jim continued to kill others and run away. He was finally caught and locked in prison. The judgement made by the court was death penalty.
Louis, who had gone to heaven, came in front of Jim in prison and told him he could grant just one wish for him.
Jim’s eyes glinted as he said, “Louis, my dear friend! Please take me out of this jail!”
Louis said, “If I do that for you, you would only kill more people wouldn’t you?”
Jim’s expression suddenly turned icy, and he said angrily, “You useless bitch! Don’t you ever come back again!”
On the day before Jim’s death penalty, Louis appeared again. “This is your last chance, Jim. What do you wish for?”
Jim answered, “I wish to be forgiven by everybody.”
Louis said, “That shall be alright. However, the lives you took away will never come back. In order to be forgiven by the people who suffered from your doings, you need to compensate for your sins. Will you promise to never make sins again and do your best to live for others?”
"Yes, I promise."
Jim was forgiven and didn’t receive death penalty. Since then, Jim followed Louis’ advice and made no sins throughout his life.
Jim went to heaven and met Louis. “Thank you for saving me.”
“Thank you for keeping our promise,” Louis replied, smiling.
Louis and Jim made up and became friends. The other sinners such as Zack also compensated for their sins and were forgiven. They came to heaven as well.
Since heaven and earth were both peaceful now, there was no need for hell or prisons. It was a start of a new world, where everybody could live in a rich, peaceful way and love one another.
