I should have checked before purchasing, but as many reviews mention, the only drawback is the weak magnet on the back.
It runs on a single AAA battery, has an on/off switch, and retains the previous settings if the power is left on.
Aside from this drawback, it's fantastic.
Because of this drawback, it's likely to get scratched or dropped, and there's a concern that the battery compartment cover might break, so even though it's so inexpensive, you need to use it carefully.

For my purposes, a blue tarp would have been sufficient.
However, this does look better in its own way.
