Asgardians live nice for illegal Immigrants ["Venom" intended]
Having seen many Journalists cover, on BBC News and other Major television News channels, the lives and environment of "recently settled" Refugee camps, I grew a disdain for Marvel's depiction of the "recently settled" Refugee camp, of their intergalactic aliens that are the Asgardians. [In my opinion] The Asgardians appeared to be living a far too affluent lifestyle for illegal Immigrants, and the only excuse for this would be "Thor Odinson'' [not really, as he was a reclusive drunk] and his Major political connections [which is not a lot, considering both the Civil War and Infiniti War].
I'd say that their best bet during "the five year down-time" that followed the Blip, was the Wakonda Empire and Shuri's help in particular. Losing her Brother, being made the de facto Queen in a time of a “major, never seen before” population crisis - it could not have been in Shuri's character to discard the Man who fought beside her Brother, much like Bucky Barnes, and She would have then offered to help Thor with his effort to settle in Norway - mind You, this means that Wakonda owed Norway quite the favor to let "actual" superpowered aliens and Vikings at that into its lands [admit it: You forgot the name on the tin and the first Thor movie. Didn't You?] And to top it off: give these foreigners a decent location and set within five years. That's quite the debt in the Game of Thrones.
My point is that this would be too much of a loss for Wakonda [and Shuri, and her family's socio-political position for making such a losing call] if Shuri did not find some way to benefit from the situation. Say~, have the entire surviving polis of Asgardian vikings sign documents which detail their consent to medical examination and experimentation, interrogation and documentation, and military conscription into the Wakonda army or its information gathering forces. You know, the perfectly safe, legal and mutually [consented] beneficial relationship that gives Wakonda the appearance that it's asking Europe a favor [just after revealing their hand in Black Panther] while also treating illegal immigrants with such humane respect [free Land and “starter pack” resources and equipment] that it'd appear to the world that they see them as equals, beyond their financial and geographical situations. Win-win anybody?
Having said that, I want to run the clock - to after the death of Tony Stark and his miraculous discovery of Time-travel. Do you think that Wakonda would not have been paying attention to how the Avengers used an actual Armada of Magicians and hulking Time-travel machines? As they literally fought alongside them. With the recent return of their rightful King and the honorable Princess, his Sister who held firm reigns over the Empire in his absence, Wakonda is now looking at a brighter future - after its darkest moment in history, the Blip.
I'm particularly focused on how Shuri, her actual job being Head of Research & Development for ALL of Wakonda's technology, would be curious about Tony's discovery in Time-travel and want to improve it - much like she suggested in Tony and Bruce's crafting of Vision. Having spent five years researching ALL aspects of the Asgardians and learning of Tony's use of the Mobius strip model, I myself tilted my head at how the Asgardian symbol looks like a "clean but messy" expansion of that same Mobius strip. Wouldn't the world's greatest mind [Shuri] have noticed that already and expanded Tony and Bruce's research - again (lol, this girl).
Conclusion: Shuri has the capability and resources to make not Time-travel, but "Space-Time" travel possible [In my opinion, I was educated that the two correlate, so] and She just may have even extended the Marvel [cinematic] universe beyond it's Inter-dimensional boundaries and reached her hand out into the Multiverse? All this, without going "Mad", following the lead of a certain “Strange Doctor"!
This is gonna be interesting.
Yeah~ so I have to rewrite some Stories that I planned to have on Royal Road. And it's quite a few.
Lesson of the day: An essay on Fictional characters [with a Short story pinned to its rear] is not a Work of Fiction and Royal Road only accepts Works of Fiction.
Stay safe Kids!
