「HELL OUTTA THIS THING, ███████████」
The two doors flew open, revealing a girl with a gothic Lolita dress and long black hair. She falls onto the ground in shock and horror. Before I could react, she looked at me with her black and purple analog clock eyes, and before I knew it, I was on the ground with a shotgun on my head with her left foot pinning my body..
「How the Hell are you in here, and why the hell can’t I say ███████████」
「 How can you do that with your mouth?」
「 ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION」
「 I was just flying my normal route after scavenging materials and discovered this planet on my way. I knew it wasn’t here before, so I flew in out of curiosity and found this place. Also, I don't even know what you said.」
A purple light consumes the shotgun, and she got her foot off my body. She starts murmuring while pacing towards a desk, picking up a sleek black watch. I couldn’t hear what she said, but I don’t think it matters. This girl is crazy. Slowly, I crawled away from her, trying to make as little noise as possible.
「You know what, let’s start from scratch. What's your name, and where are you from?」
「 I am Leonardo, but people usually call me Leo, and I am from Galdorcræft. 」
She squats down towards me, looking around my face while grabbing my face by the c
「From what I can tell, you are Karmen as well, but why would someone from Karmen need to travel to space to get materials? Usually, they produce many rare and powerful ores and crystals naturally. They will never run out. It’s Feb 21st 2342 in Universal Calendar, right?」
「Uhhhhhh… yeah」
I checked my phone just to make sure. I don’t bother with dates; it’s meaningless for a small explorer like me. I get almost no days off from my company.
「Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Tiana. Thanks for getting me outta that damn Cryogenic tank. And could you bring me to Galdor.」
I don’t know why, but I felt at ease. Something’s telling me to trust her, but I don't know why.
「I could do that, but why?」
「I just want to get off this planet first, and I got some business there soon.」
「You got someone you know?」
「 Kind of. I’m curious about something there.」
「 Ok, then I will guide you to the 」
「 No need, I know where it is. 」
「 Wait, how do you know where it allreeaaddy iss?」
The next thing I knew, I was back at the front of my ship with Tiana, the princess carrying me. She slowly places me down. I used my ship's keys to open the back and walked in with her.
「 How did you know where my ship is?」
「I can sense it. 」
I started to boot up the ship, putting my seatbelt on. She hops onto the secondary pilot seat and puts on her seatbelt.
「Ok then, so... 」
「 You want to know a bit about the planet, right? For helping me get to Galdor, I can tell you a bit about the planet, and I can get you whatever you want from the storage room.」
「 Wait, that's not possible to get something we are about to take off.」
「 Don’t worry about it since I got this.」
She pointed at the watch she grabbed from the table.
「That’s cool, but we are taking off. Hold on tight.」
She didn’t listen to me and kept her chair facing towards me. I fly my ship towards the danger zone; from what I can see above, there is no way I can fly up. I can see that the entire sky is filled with extremely charged thunder. If I enter through it, my ship would never survive. I guess the only way in is the only way out. I blasted my engine towards the dangerous zone, and during that time, Tiana kept talking; her whole body wasn’t affected by the G-force.
「I’m surprised he didn’t bring this to the fight, but yeah, this is a cool watch, everything from that room. I can grab it out and store it back in. It needs a bit of charging tho, with my energy, but it should take about an hour to charge to full. Also, are you ok flying your ship? You look really tired. Here, take this.」
She grabbed a yellow circular pill under her skirt and shoved it into my mouth. It popped into my mouth instantly, giving me vitality and energy I had never felt before.
「Cool, it still works after 300 years. Oh yeah, this should be better.」
Her eyes glowed purple, which somehow created the weather to go in reverse and quickly cleared out of the way, allowing me to easily navigate out of the planet.
「What was that?」
「I just turned back time where …」
「YOU WHAT?」
「Yeah, I just turned back time when this weather didn’t exist, that's how we usually enter. 」
She is scary, I shouldn't mess with her. One look at me can erase my entire existence. Who is she? For now, I should just focus on getting back home. I set my navigation tool towards my home planet and towards the general direction. I looked back to see the planet, and it suddenly disappeared.
「As you can see, this is how it should look like for everyone else. Unlike other planets, it shouldn’t exist in this world. It is technically in its own universe.」
「Sorry, but I don’t follow. 」
「So the creator of this planet can create their universe they can control out of thin air. A powerful ability that allows you to rival a god. Since it’s own universe, the gods cannot interfere with the planet, nor can they sense it. That was the goal of this planet, just to exist outside of this universe. 」
「But what for?」
「As a storage unit, that’s about it. That’s also its name since that is its sole purpose. But creating a planet like that is on purpose. It makes it untraceable and safe from everyone. And that’s what the watch is used for. To communicate with the planet and grab and store items. It’s great for hiding dangerous weapons and confidential stuff that can be easily erased. It is also the more common way to access the planet, but you didn’t need to. Unless one of 3 people made the planet visible to you, no one should be able to see it. Taking me out of the picture, there are 2 candidates: the creator and his wife. But from what I see, it is neither. It seemed to open by itself.」
「I want to ask who is the creator?」
「 Oh, ███████████? The easiest way to say it is that he is me but not me. Not like one of those damn clone, but like a variant of me. You know what? Don’t worry about it. 」
She must have noticed that I couldn’t understand what she said. Confused, I went back to flying the ship, and she started to curl up into a ball. I took a glance at her. She looked annoyed, with her eyes squeezed shut and her left hand squeezing her head.
「It doesn’t add up. How did it god damn happened, and on that note, since it’s in its universe, why the hell can’t I say ███████████. It doesn’t make sense. Nothing is making damn sense…………. Hey Leo, you said the year is 2342, right?」
「 Yeah, why?」
「 What if I said that the year is meant to be 2347?」
I looked at her in confusion. I feel very uneasy; all my alarms are going off, and I know this is something I shouldn’t know.
「I….. I don’t know. I may think you are insane. 」
「Well, I looked into the past and found that there were 5 years completely wiped out from existence.」
「Wiped? What do you mean?」
「There was a time when we tried to fight a god. He was the god of this universe. You could guess, it didn’t go our way and at the tail end of the war, he threw me into that damn tank. Can’t believe this was the second time it happened to me.」
「Sorry, twice?」
「Well, don’t worry about it. That’s besides the point. What I’m trying to get to is the time when the war happened doesn’t exist.」
I didn’t know what to say, there was too much information to process. It just doesn’t make sense to me. Like a planet that exists in a different universe? She is somehow the creator and also not? Five years mysteriously disappeared? Nothing makes sense to me. I just went back to flying my ship and do what I know I can do.
「Ya know what, I think that's all I will say. Don’t worry about it too much. How about this: you def seen the whole storage area. You can pick one thing from what you see in there, and I’ll give it to you. It will help you take your mind off of what I said. If you can’t figure it out. I can show you what we have through this watch.」
A holographic screen projected through the watch. It displayed a search engine for the items in the planet. I instantly remembered something. It bugged me for a while until I released her. I have to ask her; otherwise, it will bug me for the rest of my life.
「I got one more question? What the hell was that room with a lot of figures?」
「 Oh, you went into THAT room. Just forget about it existing. Also, those are off limits.」
「 Wait, why? I want to know why it exists?」
「Just forget about those dam things and choose something.」
