Chapter 1: The Unrecorded Planet pt1

Hello, this is honestly just an idea I had for years and want to actually create it. I know barely anyone is going to see this since its in English and posted on a Japanese site, but if you are here, please enjoy. I will try to post at least 1 chapter a week. I don't know if this will pop off, but it's worth a try.

Chapter 1: The Unrecorded Planet pt1

A small rectangular spaceship is swiftly flying through space. The engine at the back of the ship thrusts the ship forward with the two wings of the ship flapping like a bird. Inside the ship is a 15-year-old boy with short brown hair wearing an olive-green tactical uniform with big black safety boots that seem old and worn out, listening to classic rock music while trying to pilot the ship. His eyes have dark eye bags under them, and he has a tired look. He stretched his arms up as far as possible, trying to release tension in his muscles, leaving him to give the biggest yawn. A holographic message popped out of the panel in the front of his ship. He slowly turns towards the message.

You have got 1 unopened message in your inbox.

Do you want to open this?

「Yes」

「No」

His eyes rolled from the message while he gave a big sigh. He sloppily pressed yes and triggered another holographic box.

Where are you, boy? It's been 20 hours, and you still haven’t come back.

I didn’t hire you to mess s around. get back now and make sure you have

all of the resources. I know you forgot all of them, so to remind

You again need to collect:

30 Nova Shards

10kg Blue Mana Crystals

10kg Yellow Mana Crystals

10kg Red Mana Crystals

35 Arc Ignites

The boy sighed again with his arm on the ship's panel, placing his head onto his arm. With an uninterested look, he looked behind him. He stared blankly at a bunch of transparent boxes filled with materials neatly organised into categories, then instantly went back to piloting the ship. Every second, his eyelids slightly close while his head slowly falls towards the panels. Before he hits the panel, he instantly snaps back to stop himself from sleeping, but the exhaustion is catching up to him. He quickly set the ship to auto-pilot towards his home planet and slowly closed his eyes.

A blue planet caught his eyes. It looked like a normal small planet like any other, but that wasn't the weird part to his eyes. He rubbed his eyes and shook his head, trying to wake up. The planet is still here.

He paused the auto-pilot and scrambled around with a button to bring up a map of the universe on the big screen in the middle of the control panel. He looked at the planet and back to the map a couple of times. It wasn't there, the planet was not recorded. A small sparkle in his eye lit him, waking him up. He slowly piloted towards the planet, entering its atmosphere. The once-blue planet slowly turns into a muddy green sky. The entire planet is filled with muddy brown water. He scanned the planet, seeing if there was any life. The light slowly drains from his eyes into pure boredom.

Before he exited the planet, there was one thing that caught his eyes: a massive fog in the distance. He piloted towards the fog, entering it. The more he pilots, the fog gets thicker and thicker, and the wind pressure starts to blow stronger and stronger. Thunder started to rain from above. With confidence, he started to adapt to the environment, pressing different buttons and activating a defensive barrier for the ship. The more he went through, the harder it was to pilot around, but he quickly evaded all of the lighting strikes, leading him towards a small island.

The boy looked down at the island, and his face lit up. The small island is half forest and half plains. The trees are extremely tall, with their leaves covering half the forest, while the plain holds a massive lake and a small mountain. On the outskirts lies a rocky beach; the rocks are more like large boulders the size of a small car. He slowly lowered his ship to land on the island. He lands towards the rocky beach while folding the wings of his ship and opening a small door underneath the ship to allow the legs of the plane to extend. With a couple of pressures and a twist of the key, the engine shuts off.

He took a big breath then exhaled it all, letting all his stress out of his body, then got up his seat, grabbing his key. He walked to the back of the ship towards a giant glass cabinet filled with tools and weapons for exploring. He grabbed his gloves, torch, small hunting knife, and a long metal pole and started to head off for adventure. He pressed the red button on the right of the cabinet, and behind him, the walls started to descend, creating a ramp for him to exit. He noticed that the wind pressure was nonexistent. It only had a gentle breeze, but the island was slightly cold and dark.

He starts to run towards the forest, scavenging the area. He sprints around trying to scout on foot while cutting marks every 20 trees to prevent himself from getting lost. A sudden chill ran up his spine, a small herd of Velociraptor sprinted towards him, he quickly turned on his gloves and boots allowing them to stick to the tree and started to climb up, narrowly avoiding them. With silence, he started to tree-hop to look around. The further he went, the more exotic creatures and animals appeared, some he had seen and some that were meant to be extinct. He grabbed a rectangular metal object out of his pocket, and with one press of a button, it split open, revealing a holographic phone. He started taking photos of the animals and the land. Although it was cool in his eyes, what he wanted to do was go to the mountains. He was hoping to discover new ores and materials to finally impress his boss and get a huge paycheck.

He jumps down towards the ground to enter the plains, There are a bunch of different non-threatening animals; he lowers his guard and walks towards the mountain. The plains have small boulders around them with little to no trees around.

STOMP STOMP STOMP

A giant T-rex appeared ready to cause chaos. He quickly hid behind a boulder, covering his mouth, and stayed silent, trying to avoid the T-rex running towards a flock of Ankylosaurus. With one large bite, he swoops up an Ankylosaurus, instantly killing it. The boy looked cautiously at the T-rex finishing his meal and loudly left the area, searching for prey. He carefully got up and sprinted towards the mountain. He grabbed the metal pole from his back while activating the pole, creating the head of the pickaxe made of energy at the tip of the pole.

The faster he runs, the more his heart beats. His eyes widened in excitement, hoping for what lay ahead in the mountains. He dreams of collecting rare materials that have never been discovered before. The closer he approached the mountain, the more he could see the small hole at the base of the mountain. He halts at the front of the entrance and sees it lead to a metallic door. On the right is a small empty panel. His confusion reaches an all-time high, but he is still intrigued. He looked around the panel, trying to dissect it. After a bit of tweaking, the door slowly slid up, revealing a large room that reminded him of his workplace's warehouse. Many different shelves are reaching as high as a town hall. The warehouse was so dim that he could only see the silhouettes of each object. He grabbed his torch from the side of his pants and shone at the area before slowly walking in.

This is not an ordinary warehouse, it was something that seemed like a big house of treasures, including many rare ores, materials, weapons, bombs, tools, vehicles, and things that he had never seen before. He used his phone to scan some of the items, which revealed that some items were considered legendary, sacred, and extremely rare. There are items from legendary demons like Ifrit's gauntlets, “Volkan”, a fiery red gauntlet with long chains attached to the sides. It has been said that those chains are capable of burning so hot that they can melt boulders when they wrap around a foe. Not many were able to get out of those chains. Some he scanned cannot even be detected by his phone. He saw a passage that led towards a set of stairs going down. He slowly walks down the stairs, and the biggest whiplash shocks his body.

It was full of collectable figurines of cute anime women posing in clean glass cabinets that filled the entire area. The whole area seems like a maze, with categories for each section. Some are savory, and some are very questionable. He quickly left the area in pure confusion and pretended that he never saw it.

He continued to look around and spotted a small area that seemed like a break room that you see in work, but without the room, it was in the same area as the other items. Right next to it was a large metallic capsule that could hold the average humanoid. It has a small rectangular window where the face of a humanoid would be. The window was very foggy, stopping anyone from seeing through. He walks closer towards the capsule, looking around. On the right, there was a screen that lit up.

Do you want to open a cryogenic tank?

「Yes」

「No」

He looked at it and cautiously tapped yes. The capsule slowly opens, with different parts of the machine moving around, creating large amounts of vapor leaking out of the machine. The front of the capsule separated into two from the middle.
