Chapter 55-1
The bus toured sightseeing spots in City A, including Japan's oldest school, Historic Site A School, and Orihime Shrine A, and also stopped at a large soba restaurant for lunch.
Eventually, they arrived at their destination, Teacher Suzuki's family temple, "Jodo Sect Temple D".
When Ryosaku and the second-year students got off the bus, Ryosaku's nostalgic former homeroom teacher, Teacher Kitano, was waiting for them.
This temple D is located in a quiet area surrounded by mountains and forests, and although it is not a very large temple, it has a very calm and quiet atmosphere that makes it an attractive space.
The temple grounds were barely large enough for a tour bus to fit through, but they could see the temple's cemetery in front of them, where Teacher Suzuki was resting peacefully.
Looking at this quiet and idyllic landscape and breathing in the pure air, Ryosaku felt strongly that this environment was exactly the right place for Teacher Suzuki to sleep peacefully.
