Voice Misleading
"Hey, how does this guy know the results of this experiment?"
Risa wondered the same thing I did.
"A little after we left the cafeteria, the first experiment was over. Meanwhile, the perpetrator is recording his own voice on this tape. He was here talking a while ago, saying something about a status report. He should knew that kind of thing would draw people here. We came from the first floor cafeteria, but if it were a middle school student on the second floor, it would have taken less than three minutes. If they run, they will be here in a minute. I doubt he could have done this in such a short time."
"Maybe he had already prepared a script in advance, when he was giving that status report."
"You can't do that. Because the experiment just ended. Even if you could record the rule of next experiment on that tape, you'd never know how many people died in this experiment."
"Besides that, how could the perpetuator know exactly how many people died?"
I opened my mouth to appeal that I had the same question as clever Risa.
"Well then, he was managed to record just because luckily we were the first to arrive here."
"But there's no way to know for sure that middle schoolers won't come here."
Kazuhiro looked at Keisuke with his arms crossed.
"Surely, he suspect the middle schoolers would not come up with the idea that the culprit is in the Broadcast room because they are dumber than us, high schoolers."
I felt pity for the middle school students who were called dumb by Shōta.
"I don't think such a well-prepared criminal would take such a risky gamble, though."
"Ris? What’s that?"
"More importantly, is everyone all right?"
Ignoring Shōta, everyone turned to Minami.
"Don’t you guys been manipulated?"
"Oh, yeah. There is something like that mentioned in the next experiment."
"If I remember correctly, the manipulated people catches their clones and those who are not manipulated run away from their clones."
"And anyone caught by a clone and anyone who couldn't catch his or her own clone within two hours was brain dead, right?"
"So, if you're not being manipulated, maybe you should get out of here immediately."
"But how do you know if you're being manipulated or not?"
My words stopped everyone who was leaving the broadcast room at once.
"I thought I was going to lose my mind."
"I thought my consciousness was intact and my body just moved on its own."
"Lets just to make sure there's nothing wrong with everyone's bodies. Do you feel weird, Shōta?"
Keisuke tapped Shōta on the shoulder.
"Nothing really. My head is full of Risa's BWH measurements right now."
"Oh, it's the same for me. Well, but I'm the color of Risa's underwear."
Risa hit them both with her fists.
"I’m fine too. I have feelings like this, and I could hit both of you with my own free will."
"I’m alright too."
"I don't feel anything unusual either."
"I have some kind of a headache, but still I can think and move for myself."
Minami answered while holding her own head.
"I’m sure you’ve seen so many dead bodies that your brain is overreacting."
Kazuhiro, saying this, has his usual expression on his face.
"'So there's no one among us being manipulated? Well then, we just need to run away."
"Do you know? It's easier to feel the burden and pressure of running away than of chasing."
Risa was glaring at Shōta who is optimistic.
"Well, I guess we can manage it, haha."
With that said by Shōta, we all ran out of the broadcast room.
