The Psychology of Money
- Morgan Housel
Atop lofty heights, accompanied by the faithful consorts of this Bjorn. Such scenery befits my Status as Baron of the Drakes and Discoverer of the Humans across the River.
This Bjorn’s ambitions have for a time rested with the bountiful Market of Elves, Giants and Beast-eared yet to harvest. Their Settlements always so close to potential Nestings make them all the ,ore precious.
Because of such an appealing reward just lying naked before us Bless•ed, the lesser Domains of the more rambunctious Species have forgotten the risks with it. A living testament to this are the Orcs; a Champion slain and their kinsman mourning.
This Bjorn cannot allow such pity to be spared this way and so I allow the near sight to travel faster than this Bjorn. What matters is only who travels the furthers.
Alas, the last two decades have taught this Bjorn a painful lesson: the best fruits are taken by those who climb the tree the fastest, and move as carefully as the slowest. Thutmose, King of the WereCivets, hais the preacher of this parable.
Were it not for the Duchess and the Orcs, this Bjorn may have disgraced himself in a maddened pace to conquer what was left behind. In her shadows, we have made beachings that the revolting elements amongst the Wildlife still cannot grasp.
This Bjorn can see the downfall of the WereCivets overhunt and now aims to take what the Wildlife cannot. It is with the Duchess’s word that the Wildlide have now encircled the Huntsmen; no longer mere prey to the WereCivets.
Of course, this Bjorn must cede what will be the Estate of Duchess. Her roaches already pervade any habitable Biome; to argue with her is childish. What level of intellect would inspire the lesser beings to fight lands within the Horizon’s grasp, when the All•Father made such a vast world for his children.
The Drakes under the care of this Bjorn endeavour to soar across all ponds and molehills our All•Father gifted us this Sandbox.
