Chapter 5 The Prophecy of Ronald Artolia
In my mother's arm, she carried me with care and love beside her is my father. I saw someone enter the room. He is also a old man that wore a gorgeous blue robe. Maybe a priest cause the scent of myrrh emanating when he is close to me. He shows to me his backhand then I saw a tattoo - magic circle with elaborate runes then he declared " Let's start the ritual."
The priest backhand glow black while his magic circle is close to me. "Sorry, my king .... the young prince is manaless... He can't be a mage." he declared. King Solomon Artolia sighed " Is that so? Proceed tell me the fate of my son." The priest bit his thumb to bleed and draw a circle on my head then He chant loudly "Reveal your Fate to me." His eyes glows then appeared a magic circle in each eye. After 10 mins the ritual is finished, he said that the young prince must grow in Artolia at all cost however the king must cast him before his 13th birthday to the center of the continent...The desert of Monsters- Oblivion.
King Solomon shout to the priest "Why?! Are you saying to send my son as a sacrifice? " There is silence in the room then my mother begged the king to fight my Oracle. The priest fearfully said that' Fate dictates we mortals follow.' On his 13th birthday, according to the Goddess Lenneth the sun will cast a shadow that will envelopes all light. This sign will make the ancient untouched dungeon 'Abyss' will crumble and the monsters inside shall run rampant - a monster stampede so great that it will destroy Artolia and all kingdoms near Oblivion shall be ruin in a day.
Goddess Lenneth convey to the priest that Prince Ronald need to grow with love of his parents until the time of prophecy dictates. The king asked the priest "Is there other way to prevent this ? Why the Goddess bound my son to death ? He is still too young." The crown prince told the king it is hard to send expedition of adventurers to Abyss Dungeon. Before anyone could enter Abyss they must enter Oblivion - according to the Guild that harsh desert is a den of monsters Lvl.150 above. There are also gigantic monsters like sandworms Lvl. 200 .
The Hero of Legends according to the epics is only Lvl. 100 when he defeated the 4th Demon King Lvl. 120 - the strongest one. The current Rank 1 S Class Adventurer ' Berserker' is only Lvl. 88.
"So it is inevitable! Your young brother by the age of 12 must be sacrificed so all kingdoms to survive." King Solomon ordered his Grand Mage to cast Sleep to all including my mother. Except my brother, the king, the priest and the grand mage are sleeping then the king declared a gag order to the other three for secrecy about the prophecy. The king ordered him to cast Forget to all who are sleeping in the hall then he cast it on them individually not including me...the baby who is very aware of my situation. In my mind I shouted " Fuck , I'm Fuck!!!!!" I have 12 years to prepare.
