On the riverbank, west-part of the town, the adventures of Mesop and the town guard gathered in full force - but not in full trust. Just across the river, the Orcs in gear close to that of Viking raiders and carrying Viking boats over their heads were rallying their armies with war cries - and orgies with their “trophies” under the noon sun, sourced from their victorious campaigns further west of the river.
Fury and disgust wash over our armies in varying persons but all of us knew fear at that sight. As the panda-kemonomimi [AN: I’m using “kemonomimi” instead of “beast-eared” from here on - same thing] commander of the town army issued a command for unity and to hurl projectiles, a tiger-kemonomimi woman called his command cowardice and rallies the carnivores to set sail for a head-on assault and rescue of the rape victims.
“Absolutely not. Those orcs clearly value those ships enough to carry them over mountains and through valleys - they can only be experts in combat over waters! We’ve gathered every fighter in town and I will not command them to pointless deaths!” (Commander)
“You think less of this Me than some Orc in funky clothes!? Aa!!” (Tiger)
“Dungeon divers have no say in a military campaign! Rangers: aim!”

On the intolerant commander’s order, the archers and attack mages ready their spells and arrows. With his next command, attack magic flies at the mob soldiers and arrows at the officers of the orc invaders.
“Don’t you ignore this Me! Oi!” (Tiger)
Upset with the commander’s cold shoulder, the heated Tiger-kemonomimi orders the carnivore adventures to stop the Mesop army.
“!! Arrogant woman! This has not to do with your pride: Mesop is at stake!! Your adventures need only face any that make it across this river.” (Commander)
“I ain’t taken orders from wee prick, scared of monsters! Let’s go you bastards! (Tiger)
“Ooooooouuuu!!” (Adventurers)
For people who have interacted with our Emblem party, they sure don’t think things through. Jin-niisama and Mine efforts with the barriers in the Tower have not open people’s minds - they just took advantage of us.
