I was shocked to hear that Cynisca-obaasan had conquered Rach village and that the Laconia kingdom had grown into a superpower: the Laconia empire. Joshua-Juliana is here as the diplomat for he empire and to establish relations with Abel and Laconia’s neighbour, the panda-ear clan and the land they control.
It appears that Cynisca-bassan had taken Jin-niisan’s advice on foreign relations and chose to conquer Reach and only then take on a mask of friendship with the lands further out of her reach (and her duaghter within the others grasp)
[I guess the old man learnt about this and blames Jin for the fall of Reach. If you think of it like that then Jin should be happy that he was left off with just one strike.]
I want to hear Niisan’s reason for inciting OIbaasan like that and at the risk of his own daughters. I want to believe that he didn’t plan to harm them.
