The Bullish party that Shujin Kousuke (from here on, Jin Embler) first encountered and was extorted by are the souls born from different lands but walk the same path of adventure! Obelisk the werebeast Ox was born west of the River (this river has no name) and this is all we know of him.
Eren the elf was born from Reach village and didn’t like to stay in one place. He met Jarvis the human in Laconia village. Jarvis was a third-class citizen (a Helot) and Eren who hired him to help Dungeon dive in the Laconia dungeon took a liking to him and helped Jarvis buy his freedom. As they were travelling back to Reach, they met Obelisk who really stood out. They stuck together and helped each other out through the journey and eventually made the Bullish party with Obelisk as the mascot and commander, Eren the big gun, and Jarvis the balancer.
Now Anne Reach is the daughter of the Chief of the elven village of Reach and her family also manages the adventurer guild in the village. All human settlements are forced to be situated right next to a dungeon and the local power must manage the dungeon. Dungeons are the birthplaces of weak monsters and if left alone, the monsters grow strong enough to escape the dungeon and predate on outside life, including humans and their crops and livestock.
Though Reach village’s population is small, it houses the powerful elf race who don’t take to aggressive expansion but rather focus on strict meritocracy. The weak and strong are the only concerns in this settlement, so when Jin was enslaved by Celia Embler, he was soo weak that he allowed it to happen - an uncommon but not rare custom of marriage or subordination for the elves.
