《 Overview of energy, matter, idea, and existence 》
1) Energy, matter, and existence
2) Idea and existence
................
1) Energy, matter, and existence
According to the Big Bang theory, energy is considered to have no volume and is non-material. In other words, energy is not a substance. Energy, even though it is physical and the source of the physicality of this universe, is such a mysterious thing.
And the true nature of such mysterious energy is physical actions of 1st-person subject. After all, energy is the fundamental driving force behind all physical phenomena in this universe, and it has no volume and is non-material. Energy must be physical actions themselves. ("Energy" can also be called a simple alias for physical actions).
(By the way, energy usually performs external functions --that's the functions of energy we normally think of--, but they are considered to be external manifestations of internal functions inherent in energy. And what fulfill the internal functions of energy are the physical actions that are its true nature.
By the way, moreover, the physical actions of energy are first-person subjects. And, it seems that, in this universe, which is the physical world, the only things that are the first-person subject are the physical actions of energy, the (internal) physical actions of matter that are inherited from energy to matter, and the ideational actions (= self-state-measurement action (somatosensory action) + self-next-state-and-operation-computation action (thinking action / design action)) that are the true nature of consciousness).
Furthermore, similarly, according to the Big Bang theory, matter (elementary particles) is evaluated as an integrated aggregate of countless energies.
Moreover, in the Big Bang, (quanta of) solid matter did not eject entirely.
Matter (elementary particles) was formed by the fusion --solidification phase transition-- of countless energies during the cosmic inflation of the Big Bang.
(From this, energy is evaluated to have a self-emergence action (or, self-fusion action). This is because, during the dramatic drop in ultra-high temperature and ultra-high density due to the cosmic inflation, the seperate energies should simply diffuse separately as they are without fusion. That's natural.
First, it seems that, in matter, the countless energies are not firmly glued together. There is only energy, no glue. In the first place, it is impossible to glue something that has no volume and is non-material.
Moreover, the morphological aspect of matter are not yet understood here.
However, matter is thought to be an integrated aggregate of countless energies. And an integrated aggregate is an order.
However, due to the second law of thermodynamics, which states that entropy increases, it is impossible for order to form spontaneously without any basis or cause. In order for the order of matter to form, a cause that defies the second law of thermodynamics is essential.
And there is only energy. There is nothing other than energy that can unite countless energies into one order.
Therefore, it is presumed that the countless energies are fused by themselves due to some kind of function within themselves. The function seems to be self-emergence action (or, self-fusion action).
(By the way, self-emergence action can be said to be an action that attempts to form a higher level of physical order. And physical order includes material order and ideational order. For example, thinking is an advanced ideational order).
(By the way, moreover, the self-emergence action of energy is expected to be activated by a reduction in the entropy production rate of the system (during the cosmic inflation).
However, in the activation of the self-emergence action of energies , we can first think of the possibility of the formation of a large inanimate intelligence --so to speak, inanimate matter consciousness-- that spans countless energies. The intelligence may carry out the measurement of the current self-state and the design of the next moment's self-state and operation. And, based on that design, the self-emergence (fusion) of countless energies may be achieved)).
And, energy does not have volume, but matter does.
(From this, energy also has a volume-composition action and a push-back action. When energies fuse, if they leave some distance between them, then they can form a volume. Moreover, if the surface of the constructed volume also has a push-back action, then matter can be constructed as it appears. Incidentally, the push-back action is thought to be the source of the law of action and reaction).
In addition, matter is, in a broad sense, presumed to be an oscillator made up of countless energies.
Because of this, in a strict sense, matter and this universe are completely vacuum.
Matter is never solid matter. Solid matter and solid bodies essentially cannot exist. They are only appearances produced by the physical actions of energy. For us humans and living things who live in a large world, solid bodies and particles are like maps, traces, or shadows obtained through the work of physical actions of energy. What there are present are physical actions of energy. Matter and solidity are, so to speak, like a macroscopic impression or illusion that has a basis in the physical actions of energy.
By the way, it is expected that the mysterious function of physical actions would never be possible for matter with volume (solid matter / solid body / map). It seems that the mysterious function of physical actions can never be accomplished without energy, which is also mysterious.
By the way, moreover, it is impossible to directly detect (measure) matter. There is no such means. (If matter could be directly detected, that would be a supernatural power). Matter can only be measured indirectly as a map through physical interactions. (For example, we normally see things through light. And when we turn off the lights, we can no longer see things --we can no longer observe them--).
First, energy has no volume and is non-material, so it is fundamentally impossible to directly observe energy. The existence of energy can only be inferred indirectly through various physical phenomena.
Furthermore, since matter is also a vacuum in the strict sense, it is also impossible to directly observe it. Although we normally seem to observe matter directly, in reality we can only observe matter indirectly as a map through physical interactions and traces obtained (left) from their workings.
2) Idea and existence
And, moreover, from the Big Bang theory, it is obvious that matter and this universe are creations and derivatives. And the energy that is the source of their existence has no volume and is non-material. Existence may originally be something like that --something that has no volume and is non-material--.
For example, truth can be evaluated as existing unconditionally. And truth is rational and logical. Moreover, in a sense, rationality and logic are mysterious in that where exactly do they originate, but, in the first place, they may be the core of existence.
And the idea of truth is volumeless and non-material. Furthermore, the idea of truth is also not bound by location or time. Like this truth, something that can exist unconditionally and is not bound by materiality or location may be the original aspect of existence. Although we do not yet know the details of what that is, truth may be the origin of existence.
(And, in the sense that energy has no volume and is non-material, it may be considered more like a kind of idea.
It is expected that there will be more than one type of idea. The origin may be truth. For example, the proposition by French philosopher Bergson that "nothingness does not exist" is true, and it implies that "something must exist". And this implication seems to have a strange coercive force in terms of existence. This proposition may be evaluated as a fundamental proposition about existence. This is because this proposition exactly states about existence.
And energy may be its own idea. The idea that expresses the functional specifications of physical actions, which is the true nature of energy, may be the idea that is the origin of energy. For some reason, it started to vibrate, and it may have become a physical energy.
In order to distinguish this idea unique to energy from the ideas that we normally think of, it could be called, for example, a physical idea, dynamic idea, or self-acting idea).
On the other hand, materiality and place, so to speak, physicality may be evaluated as derivatives of ideas such as truth. In other words, physicality is based on ideas.
I regard consciousness as fundamental. I regard matter as derivative from consciousness. We cannot get behind consciousness. Everything that we talk about, everything that we regard as existing, postulates consciousness. (Max Planck)
《Quantum mechanics misses important experimental results 》
Why is the wave split into two in the double-slit experiment?
It seems that splitting the wave into two means that the wave physically interacts with the double-slit. And it seems that the fact that the wave physically interacts with the double-slit means that the wave is not an abstract and mysterious thing such as a guide wave, but a physical being, i.e. a physical entity that is directly embodied by energy.
Quantum mechanics seems to miss this significant experimental fact.
The wave and the particle do not exist at the same time. It seems that matter exists in either wave form or particle-like form depending on the interaction that occurs. And, this is not an unfounded assumption, but an experimental fact. (The reason why it is a particle-like form is because, in a strict sense, there is no solid matter (solid body) in this universe according to the Big Bang theory).
And, it seems that, in the double-slit experiment, energies, which are components of matter, directly causes wave interference on their own.
Furthermore, It seems that "wave-particle switching" is closer to the truth than "wave-particle duality".
《 (A leaflet) The wave suggested in the double-slit experiment 》
In the double-slit experiment with electrons, a striped pattern --interference fringes of a wave-- consisting of traces of countless dots is formed on the photosensitive plate behind.
However, in order for interference fringes to form, some kind of wave about the electron must first be split into two.
Why is a wave split into two?
In order for a wave to be split into two, it must physically interact with other matter.
In other words, the fact that interference fringes were formed means first that some kind of wave of the flying electron interacted with the negatively charged double slit and was split into two by it, even though it cannot be observed directly. And the fact that the wave was split into two by the double slit means that the wave had a non-contact physical interaction with matter --negative charge on the double slit--.
And the fact that the wave interacted with matter means that it is not abstract but physical.
In other words, some kind of wave about an electron whose existence is indirectly suggested in the double-slit experiment is a physical entity that can physically interact with other matter.
And, from this, it can be inferred that, while an electron is flying alone in a vacuum, it is in a wave mode (although it is impossible to directly observe it). The wave whose existence is indirectly suggested in the double-slit experiment seems to be the electron itself in a wave mode.
It may be hard to believe, but it is conjectured that when matter exists alone (as a single quantum) without interacting with other matter, it takes the mode of a wave that spreads over a wide space. This is not an unfounded assumption, but an experimental fact. The double-slit experiment can be evaluated as indirectly demonstrating this.
And the fact that the wave indirectly suggested in the double-slit experiment is physical does not seem to contradict the basic structure of matter --the fact that matter is basically an integrated aggregate of countless, volumeless, and non-material energies--.
The wave mode is one of the modes that matter, which is a oscillator made up of countless energies, can take. The differences due to the presence or absence of physical interactions with other matter is whether the matter is an oscillator in the wave mode or an oscillator in the particle-like mode.
(The fact that particles are actually particle-like integrated aggregates of countless energies is consistent with the fact that in the Big Bang (quanta of) solid matter did not at all erupt and particles as solid matter (solid body) do not exist in this universe, in the strict sense).
《 (A leaflet) What were demonstrated by the double-slit experiment 》
The double-slit experiments is evaluated as demonstrating, discovering, or suggesting the following.
A) In the double-slit experiment, matter as a single quantum flies in a wave form through a vacuum.
B) In the double-slit experiment, while matter as a single quantum flies through a vacuum in the wave form, the countless energies of its constituent elements cause wave interference on their own. (In this universe, in a strict sense, there is only non-volume, non-material energy, and there is no (quantum of) solid matter at all. Matter is directly constituted by the energy).
C) The wave of matter as a single quantum is a physical entity (that is embodied by energy and can interact with other matter).
D) When the entirety of one matter is one quantum, that matter takes either a particle-like mode or a wave mode, depending on the situation. A single quantum of matter takes on a particle-like mode while interacting with other matter. On the other hand, when it exists alone without interacting with other matter, it takes on a wave mode. A single quantum of matter does not take on both modes at the same time.
These are surprising, but if we don't have fixed ideas and evaluate the experimental results from a simple natural science perspective, we can see these things.
(The fixed idea here is that matter is particles. Moreover, the particles are solid matter. However, in the first place, no solid matter erupted in the Big Bang, and no solid matter exists in this universe).
And it seems that these things do not contradict the basic structure of matter --the fact that matter is basically an integrated aggregate of countless, volumeless, and non-material energies--.
Furthermore, it may be said that the double-slit experiment also indirectly demonstrated that matter is an integrated aggregate of countless energies.
(This is because matter takes the form of a wave while it exists alone as a single quantum. If matter were solid matter, this would not be possible. It seems that, because matter is an integrated aggregate of countless energies, it instantly switches to a wave form).
Also, these things don't seem to need reasons. Matter is like that. That's the reality.
《 (A leaflet) Proposal for a variant of the double-slit experiment 》
As an attempt to clarify the constitutive aspect and so on of matter, the following variant of the double-slit experiment is conceivable. (This experiment does not aim to observe interference fringes).
In the double-slit experiment, the left space and the right space beyond the slit are completely cut off so that the two split waves can no longer join together.
Although the results are unpredictable, we may be able to obtain some new knowledge about the constitutive aspect and so on of matter.

................
1) The wave of one electron is evaluated as physical
In the double-slit experiment with electrons, interference fringes consisting of dot traces (mappings) are formed on the photosensitive plate behind. And, this interference fringes suggest that the emitted electron (matter) is accompanied by some wave about the electron or the electron is in wave form while it flies through the vacuum.
However, at this point, it is not yet possible to know what the wave is. And, as has been thought in quantum mechanics so far, we cannot deny the possibility that the wave is an ideational, abstract wave formed by information (ideas) of quantum states.
However, the wave causes wave interference, as can be determined from the trace of interference fringes that are left behind.
However, even at this point, it is not necessarily possible to determine what the wave is. This is because, as hard as it is to think about, an ideational, abstract wave may also interfere physically.
However, for interference to occur, a wave must be split into two parts, at least before that.
Why is a wave split into two?
In order for a wave to be split into two, it must physically interact with the double-slit part of the experimental apparatus made of substances. It's essential.
And the fact that a wave physically interacts with substances definitely means that the wave is physical.
In other words, the reason a wave is split into two is because it is physical and can interact with other substances.
Moreover, in order to leave traces as interference fringes on the photosensitive plate behind, the flying object must be a wave that can be split into two and cause interference. Furthermore, it must at least be a physical entity that can physically interact with the plate to leave traces. Also from this, it is evaluated that what flies is a wave as a physical entity. And the wave is presumed to be the electron (matter) itself in the wave mode.
(Since energy has no volume and is non-material, it would be impossible to directly measure the wave if it were formed directly by energies. Therefore, the above evaluation is an indirect interpretation, but it seems that such an interpretation is the simplest and also fits the guideline of Occam's razor.
The guideline of Occam's razor is also known as the law of parsimony of thought, etc. It states the following. "Entities must not be multiplied beyond necessity". Or, "the simplest explanation is usually the best one".
Truth is ever to be found in simplicity, and not in the multiplicity and confusion of things. (Sir Isaac Newton))
The fact that the traces left are particles is another thing. This is because the particle traces left on the photosensitive plate do not necessarily mean that the particle flying in the vacuum prior to the collision also had such a shape. It is quite conceivable that an instantaneous change in form of an electron occurred at the time of collision. There is nothing to deny that possibility.
(It can be evaluated that the fact that the wave mode of an electron switches to a particle-like mode when it interacts with other matter has been indirectly but clearly demonstrated in a type of double slit experiment that causes decoherence. This is because the interference fringes will be blurred in that experiment. This clearly means that the wave, while traveling in a vacuum, interacts with the matter to cause decoherence. (Again, this is the simplest interpretation and fits also the guidelines of Occam's razor)).
Matter is an integrated aggregate of innumerable energies, but it is not rigidly glued, but is integratedly aggregated by some function within itself. For this reason, matter may in some cases --for example, when it exists alone without interacting with other matter-- be in the form of wave whose constituent energies are dispersed over a wide space. (This is because there seems to be no need to determine the physical quantities of matter while it exists alone. The physical quantities of matter are sufficient as long as they are determined when the matter interacts with other matter).
The double-slit experiment may also be evaluated as showing that matter --a quantum, including a Fullerene molecule-- takes the form of a wave that spreads over a wide space while existing alone.
Simply put, the wave of an electron (matter) is a physical entity.
At this point, it doesn't matter that the wave cannot be observed directly.
The wave of matter is not an ideational abstraction formed by the information (idea) of the quantum state and formulated by the wave function, but physical.
About photons that can cause the photoelectric effect or the Compton effect, the matter wave (de Bloglie wave), and the wave suggested in the double-slit experiment, even though they cannot be observed directly, there is no reason to rule out, from the beginning, a wave of physical entity that is directly embodied by energies and capable of interacting with other matter as a candidate for what exist there. This is because it has not yet been ascertained what kind of thing actually exists there, and because the permanent particle of which inside is filled with solid matter seems to be only based on unconscious preconceptions. Waves as physical entities that are directly formed from energies have full rights as candidates for what exist there.
(Incidentally, it seems that It has not yet been determined what the solid matter that is assumed to be the constituent element of particles (matter) is. It might be a neutrino. However, then, the components of neutrinos become a problem. Ultimately, it is expected to be energy, but energy has no volume and is non-material. After all, it seems that matter can only be evaluated as a complete vacuum in the strict sense. Matter is neither a particle nor a solid body).
By the way, then, it follows that, in the double-slit experiment, innumerable energies, which are the constituent elements of matter, directly cause wave interference by themselves. Since energy is the source of physicality and physical entities, it seems quite possible.
And the above seems to be consistent with the fact that matter is basically an integrated aggregate of countless energies. Depending on the situation, this aggregate can be in a wave state or in a particle-like state.
Moreover, the fact that particles (matter) are actually particle-like integrated aggregates of countless energies is consistent with the fact that in the Big Bang (quanta of) solid matter did not at all erupt and particles as solid matter (solid body) do not exist in this universe, in the strict sense.
2) What were demonstrated by the double-slit experiment
(By the way, the fixed idea here is that matter is a particle whose interior is filled with solid matter.
3) Another evaluation of the results of the double-slit experiment
In the double-slit experiment, interference fringes consisting of particle-like impact traces are formed on the photosensitive plate behind.
However, if particles fly in a vacuum, the distribution of impact traces left behind should be random.
Therefore, the result of the double-slit experiment is extremely irrational from the point of view of natural science. And the reason for that irrationality is the assumption that a particle is in flight.
However, if we cancel this assumption and think that a wave is in flight, as suggested by interference fringes, the irrationality will be resolved immediately.
Therefore, from the plain perspective of natural science, it can be said that the mere fact that interference fringes are formed is the same as direct demonstration that what flies is some kind of wave. (It goes without saying that the wave is physical).
Leaving a particle-like trace is not a problem. This is because that does not necessarily mean that what is in flight is also a particle. There is nothing to deny the possibility that the wave mode switches to the particle-like mode at the moment of collision.
Although matter is an integrated aggregate of myriad energies, they are not rigidly glued together. (In the first place, energies cannot be glued because they are volumeless and non-material). It is quite conceivable that the morphological mode of matter may in some cases switch back and forth between the wave mode and the particle-like mode.
On the contrary, it can be said that the result of this experiment clarified that matter is like that. No reason is needed for the morphological mode of matter to switch. That is what matter is, and that is reality.
Thus, if we set aside preconceived notions, it can be evaluated that the result of the double-slit experiment directly demonstrates that what is in flight is a physical wave.
4) Other double-slit experiments
As variants of the double-slit experiment, the following two kinds of experiments have also been carried out. Their results can also be evaluated concisely from the point of view of natural science.
a) Double-slit experiment with (one) detector
b) A type of double-slit experiment that causes decoherence
It is said that, in the double-slit experiment with a detector, the interference fringes disappeared completely, whether the detection was counted or not.
However, if a particle flies, this result is absurd. This is because if it is a particle, the interference fringes are expected to be only slightly blurred, depending on the frequency with which the particle interacts with the detector. Therefore, the premise is judged to be contrary to the facts.
Conversely, if a wave flies, the result is no surprise. This is because a wave is expected to always interact with the detector.
It is speculated that when the wave interacts with the detector, it momentarily switches to particle-like mode. And, then, shortly afterwards, it reverts to wave mode again, but this time it is no longer split into two halves, so it no longer interferes.
Also, it is said that the interference fringes formed in the double-slit experiment of the type that generates decoherence have become blurred.
This result is reasonable. This is because when a decoherence occurs, the frequency of interaction between the wave flying in the vacuum and the cause of the decoherence is insignificant. (If a particle was flying, no interference fringes would be formed in the first place). Interference fringes become dim depending on the frequency.
(And, the results of experiments in which decoherence occurs are evaluated as indirectly but briefly demonstrating that the particle-like mode and wave mode of matter can be switched between each other. (Indirect because it is impossible to directly measure what is presumed to be directly embodied by energy, whether in particle-like mode or in wave mode).
It can be interpreted that the reason why the interference fringes became blurred is because the wave interacted with a very small amount of other matter mixed into the vacuum during its flight, and, at that moment, the wave mode switched to the particle-like mode. And, immediately after that, matter returns to its wave mode again, but, at that time, the wave is no longer divided into two, so it no longer causes interference.
This interpretation is the simplest and reasonable. And it also conforms to the guideline of Occam's razor.
The switching between particle-like mode and wave mode is surprising, but the experimental results clearly suggest it. And, since matter is an integrated aggregate of countless energies, it is expected to be possible. That may be reality. It seems unnecessary to make any more abstruse interpretations.
5) A proposal of a variant of the double-slit experiment
As an attempt to clarify the constitutive aspect of matter, the following variant of the double-slit experiment is also conceivable. (This experiment does not aim to observe interference fringes).
In the double-slit experiment, the left space and the right space beyond the slits are completely cut off so that the two split waves can no longer join together.
The results are unpredictable, but some new knowledge about the existence of matter may be obtained.
《 A proposal of a variant of the double-slit experiment 》
As an attempt to clarify the morphological and compositional existential mode of matter, a variant of the double-slit experiment is conceivable as follows.
In the double-slit experiment, the space between the left space and the right space beyond the slits is cut off completely with a negatively charged plate or the like. (This experiment doesn't aim to observe interference fringes).
The wave of an electron may remain split in two and be unable to merge back into one. And, in each left and right, traces of half of an electron may be left. However, a single electron is composed of a combination of left and right waves. This existential mode seems extremely strong in that an electron is an elementary particle. For this reason, it also seems that such a thing cannot occur. So it's unpredictable what kind of results we will get. Moreover, experimental results may also be greatly influenced by how the left and right half-waves are prevented from re-mergence in the experimental setup.
Still, as to the result, several possibilities are conceivable as follows.
i) If the barrier is weak materially, either of the left and right half waves penetrates the barrier and merges with another half wave the moment the two half waves collide with the plate. And, one collision trace is left on either the left or right plate.
ii) As if nothing had happened, one collision trace is left on either the left or right plate. Either of the left and right half waves goes through the opening in the barrier and merges with another half wave the moment the two half waves collide with the plate.
iii) As if nothing had happened, one collision trace is left on either the left or right plate. Either of the left and right half waves returns to the position of the double-slit in an instant and merges with another half wave from there the moment the two half waves collide with the plate.
iv) As if nothing had happened, one collision trace is left on either the left or right plate. Either of the left and right half waves teleports and merges with another half wave the moment the two half waves collide with the plate.
v) The two half waves collide with the plate on the left and right while being split, leaving traces on each.
vi) Since the two half waves cannot re-merge, they collapse as an elementary particle called an electron, and, while releasing their binding energy as an electron, they are reduced to energy. Traces of the collision may remain on each of the left and right plates.
And, the gained result may help us to speculate more closely on what the morphological and compositional mode of an electron might look like.
Since this experiment deals with the very existence of an electron (matter), it seems to be an experiment in in the field of elementary particle physics. Still, since it may bring clues to ascertain the morphological and compositional existential mode of an electron, it seems to relate also with quantum mechanics deeply.
This experiment doesn't seem meaningless for physics as an empirical science. It is strongly hoped that somewhere this experiment will be carried out and the results obtained.
《 (An aside) The measurement problem has already been solved by the double-slit experiment 》
The double-slit experiment demonstrated that the wave of matter is a physical entity that can interact with other matter --double-slit part of the experimental setup--.
However, this experimental result seems to also mean that the measurement problem did not exist in the first place.
This is because the measurement problem is said to be about the wave function collapse. And because the wave function is about the abstract wave, not about the wave as a physical entity.
(In the first place, the wave function does not exist as a physical entity, so the physical event of its collapse cannot occur. What occurs is a simple event of switching from wave mode to particle-like mode due to the occurrence of a physical interaction).
Since the wave of matter is a physical entity, there is no need for the wave function that formulates the abstract wave whose identity is not well understood in the first place. Therefore, the measurement problem does not need to be asked either. (Rather, it seems that the question becomes what the wave function is all about).
And, it seems that interpretations such as the Copenhagen interpretation and the many-worlds interpretation, which have been proposed as answers to the measurement problem, will also no longer be necessary.
《 Physical event called measurement 》
1) Consciousness is physical -- Something of a gift from consciousness to physics
2) Energy and solid matter
3) Measurement problem
4) Consciousness does not reduce the wave function
5) Physical event called measurement
................
1) Consciousness is physical -- Something of a gift from consciousness to physics
Muscular movements of vocalization always occur based on thoughts formed in consciousness.
And this directly means that there is a point of contact between thought (idea) and matter. However, in the first place, there is a point of contact between matter and consciousness, the place where thoughts are formed.
(However, this is in terms of the output of consciousness. There is also a point of contact in terms of being able to sense one's own physical sensations and the outside world. This is obvious).
This then determines the following.
i) Consciousness, thoughts, and bodily sensations are physical.
ii) At least in the living bodies, such as cells, tissues, organs, and the whole body, matter can move based on ideas (thoughts / designs / consciousness). (This is biological inevitable. Otherwise, we humans will never be able to speak properly and cannot move our bodies. (It is also fromestimated that almost all of the movements of the body occur due to thoughts formed in consciousness)).
(Starting from elementary particles, all things present in this universe are physical phenomena embodied by energy, and are functions of time. And, consciousness also occurs in this universe, and is a physical phenomenon that changes without rest even at one time. And, if consciousness is a physical phenomenon, it simply means that it is physical. Consciousness was physical from the beginning in that it is a physical phenomenon that occurs in this universe. However, for some reason, this is not convincing. Is it because it's so obvious?)
(We could say this is something of a gift from consciousness to physics).
In other words, consciousness is physical.
(Although the details cannot be explained here, consciousness, thoughts, and bodily sensations are physical entities embodied by energy. Energy is not necessarily capable of forming only material things such as elementary particles, particles, and solid bodies. It is predicted that energy can also form ideational things such as consciousness, thoughts and bodily sensations).
2) Energy and solid matter
Incidentally, energy is a source of physicality, but according to Big Bang theory, it is volumeless and non-material.
And, in a strict sense, only such energy exists in this universe. There are no solid matter or solid bodies.
There was no spurt of solid bodies or solid matter in the Big Bang. Moreover, there is no reason why solid matter exists at the same level as energy, from the beginning of the universe. Solid matter cannot exist and are not at all present anywhere.
Matter is an integrated aggregate of volumeless, non-material energy. Elementary particles and particles are actually predicted to be particle-like aggregates of such energy. And, it is then predicted that matter will take either a wave or particle-like appearance according to the situation.
Everything that exists in this universe is physical and embodied by energy. Nothing that is not embodied by energy exists in this universe.
And, including space, all of the things that exist in this universe --matter and physical entities-- are, in the strict sense, completely vacuum. This is because everything that exists in this universe is an integrated aggregate of energy, formed of volumeless energy. (No matter how many things that do not have a volume are gathered together, they will never become solid matter. What's more, solid matter cannot exist fundamentally).
Matter is like a map of the true nature of the functions of physical actions of 1st-person subject of the energy.
(For example, we humans live in a world that is very large in size compared to energy and elementary particles. We don't see the matter directly. We humans see the map of matter through light. Moreover, our consciousness ultimately perceives maps that were processed in the brain in a variety of ways).
(Incidentally, it is expected that the only thing that can exist unconditionally is the idea of truth. There is a strange coercion in the existence of truth in that it is always the case. Moreover, the existence of truth is not bound by place or time. Some truth may be the origin of existence.
And it seems that there is no need to limit existence to just material things. Because this universe and matter are derivatives of energy. (Matter is like a map of the true nature of the functions of physical actions of 1st-person subject of the energy). Moreover, the energy may also be a derivative of some truth.
Furthermore, it is assumed that the energy is vibrating, and vibrating may be a requirement for physical existence.
Moreover, all of the things that exist in this universe, including consciousness, thoughts, and bodily sensations, are accompanied by the coordinates of time and space. In other words, everything that exists in this material world, the universe, is bound by space and time. This is an inevitable feature of existence in this universe. Therefore, everything that exists in this universe is a function of time. With the exception of energy, elementary particles, atoms, etc., all existence will eventually disappear (decay) sooner or later.
(The most important thing is consciousness and life. These are high-level physical orders, but the higher-level orders may be more likely to disappear)).
3) Measurement problem
It is said that the measurement problem is a question of how wave function collapse occurs in quantum mechanics. Alternatively, they say it can be rephrased as a problem that incorporates measuremental processes into the deduction system of quantum mechanics. It's a difficult problem.
In the double-slit experiment with electrons, wave interference fringes are formed on the photosensitive plate behind it due to particle-like collision traces. This infers that while an electron is flying through the vacuum, the electron is in a state of wave, or that it have some kind of wave attached to it.
However, in order for interference fringes to be formed, the wave must be divided into two, and in order for the wave to be divided into two, the wave must physically interact with the part of the double-slit.
And the fact that the wave interacts with double-slit simply means that the wave is physical.
Or this can also be thought of as follows. In the double-slit experiment, the formation of interference fringes of wave as a material result of the experiment means that there is a point of contact between the matter and the wave somewhere in the experimental process.
(It is predicted that, in the double-slit experiment, countless energies, which are the components of an electron, will remain integrated as one electron, and be directly in a wave state on their own. In other words, in the double-slit experiment, the wave is formed by countless energies. It is presumed that matter --quantum-- switches between a particle-like state and a wave state, depending on whether or not interactions occur with other matter).
In other words, the wave inferred from the results of the double-slit experiment is physical and physical entity embodied by energy. It is not an abstraction formulated with the wave function by Schrödinger and is formed in the quantum state.
Therefore, in the double-slit experiment, it was determined that the flying electron do not have an abstract wave attached to it, but that the electron itself flying alone in the vacuum is in a state of wave (formed by energies).
As for leaving particle-like traces, if we interpret it as the wave of matter --quantum-- switches to a particle-like state when it interacts with other matter, that's enough. This interpretation is both physical and simple.
And these are experimental facts. (That's probably what matter is). It is difficult to jump past this simple fact and suddenly assume the mysterious thing called quantum states and the abstract thing called wave function.
And, if we adopt this simple interpretation, the still unfinished and difficult question of measuremental issues will disappear.
4) Consciousness does not reduce the wave function
Consciousness serves an ideational function, but is physical. Consciousness, thoughts, and bodily sensations are ideational, but are physical entities embodied by energy. (In this sense, "ideational" is also included in "physical" along with "material").
Therefore, if physical consciousness reduces the wave function, the wave' function must also be physical. However, the wave function is still unsubstantiated, abstract, and not physical. (In other words, wave functions do not exist as physical entities in this universe, the physical world). Therefore, consciousness cannot constrict the wave function. (This is because there is no way that physical things interact with abstract, non-physical, non-existent things).
Moreover, consciousness is not even a radar. If consciousness reduces the wave function, consciousness must emit some kind of abstraction that can reduce the wave function, but never does. (It's physically impossible). Even in this respect, consciousness does not reduce the wave's function.
5) Physical event called measurement
In the double-slit experiment, the wave of an electron embodied by energy undergo physical interaction with the material of the photosensitive plate, and thus switches to a particle-like state. (This is an experimental fact, and is not inconsistent with the fact that matter is an integrated aggregate of countless energies. (In this universe, in the strict sense, there is only volumeless and non-material energies. There is no solid matter anywhere)).
On the other hand, it is impossible for wave functions that are not embodied by energy and do not exist as physical entities to carry out physical interactions with the physical entities of consciousness and the material of the photosensitive plate.
It is not possible that the assumed function of wave function physically collapses, and there is no point in making it a problem.
In a strict sense, measurement seems to refer to the physical interaction between matter.
