《 (Leaflet) The need for a new perspective on energy and matter 》

For example, single-celled organisms do not have brains. Single-celled organisms are, so to speak, dense masses of countless substances. Nevertheless, a single-celled organism can act spontaneously, subjectively, and actively, and its overall movement is somehow integrated and coherent.

However, if wd evaluate it calmly, it seems that this is extremely mysterious.

This is because a single-celled organism without a brain is basically a mass of countless substances, and substances are macroscopically third-person objects, and cannot actively move on their own outwardly. (For substances, which are the constituents of single-celled organisms, even movements within the inner space of single-celled organisms ---spatial locomotion / rotation (attitude control) / chemical reactions--- are outward movements). For a substance to move outwardly, it must inevitably be involved passively in some kind of interaction.

For this reason, it seems that some kind of physical basis --mechanism / framework-- that makes it possible for the active movement of single-celled organisms is indispensable.

  ................

The details cannot be explained here, but it would be desirable to introduce a new way of looking at energy and matter into physics in order to explain the following matters, including the active movement of single-celled organisms.

A) Formation of material system consciousness or consciousness

B) Occurrence of ideas of measured values (in other words, bodily sensations) and design details (senses of thought, so to speak) through measurements (observation about the current state / gathering information) and computations (designing the state and the work at the next moment) based on measurements, in (matter or) consciousness

C) Formation of splendid crystal masses of various substances

D) Development of organisms (Formation of primordial organisms)

E) Spontaneous, subjective, integrated, and active movements -- activities including the design and production of exquisite body parts (cells and tissues such as leaves, petals, and flowers) of plants and animals-- of organisms (or, living bodies)

F) Evolution of organisms (Adaptation or change of body (parts))

These things have something in common. They are all dynamic processes. And they are realized by integrated and cooperative movements of countless substances. In other words, in those processes, countless substances are organized and their movements are controlled. (It seems that it is actually being realized).

And that means that those processes are of extremely high physical order.

However, due to the second law of thermodynamics, which states that entropy increases, high physical order cannot form spontaneously. So those processes apparently violate the second law of thermodynamics.

Thus, if a high physical order were to form spontaneously, it would seem that there needs to be a physical cause that makes it possible without violating the second law of thermodynamics. It would be desirable to elucidate the physical mechanisms or frameworks by which the movements of myriad substances are organized and controlled.

And it seems that the elucidation will be in charge of physics.

By the way, the organization and control of the movements of substances is expected to be a serious problem for physics. However, if we think positively, it may be an opportunity to activate our way of thinking about the external movement of matter. (It may introduce a new perspective to mechanics, chemical reactions, etc). The approach seems to become interesting.

《 (Leaflet) It seems absurd that material things that are solid exist 》

When I pick up a pebble and stare at it, I sometimes wonder where this stone came from, why this stone is here.

However, the origin of stones is lava. Lava circulates here, changing its form. So it's not so strange that there are countless rocks and stones on Earth.

However, still, strangeness remains for me. And, its contents seem to be the fact that solid, firm, and rigid stones and substances exist in this world. (Stones and substances look like that superficially (macroscopically). Liquid and gas are also solid. This is because atoms and molecules as their components are externally (macroscopically) particles. And, a particle is solid in our ordinary sense). It's absurd for me that material things that are solid exist. It's absurd that what is material exists.

And, it seems absurd actually that material things that are solid exist.

Even if material substances that are solid have existed since ancient times, there is no reason (or, basis) for it.

  ................

According to the Big Bang theory, it is said that this universe was born by the Big Bang about 13.8 billion years ago.

And, it is said that only the infinite energy that forms this universe erupted in the Big Bang. And, it is said that, just after the eruption, just before the cosmic inflation, the initial space of about 1 meter in size was filled with only the infinite, ultra-high dense, ultra-high temperature energies.

In other words, energies can overlap almost infinitely. It follows, then, that energies are never material. Energy is not a material entity, it has no volume, and it is materially empty.

Such energy is very strange, but it may be more appropriate to regard energy as something like an idea (in a broader sense).

In the first place, there is no word that can accurately express the existential aspect of energy. However, if it is not material, it must be regarded as ideational. The details of the existence of the idea are still unknown. However, there may be more than one kind of mode of existence for ideas. And the mode of existence of energy may be one of them.

In a word, energy may be a kind of idea.

However, energies may be vibrating ideas. Vibration may be elevating the idea of energy into a physical entity.

The true identity of energy may be that kind of idea.

《 (Leaflet) Physical events of measurement 》

Compared to elementary particles, humans live in a world that is extremely large. And, the resolution of human senses of the world and of matter, adapted to large sizes, is quite coarse.

(We humans do not perceive every single molecule or atom exposed on the surface of a substance in detail. At the resolution of human perception, the information of countless molecules and atoms is aggregated into one dot of information --0 or 1--).

For this reason, elementary particles are so small that humans generally understand them as particles --solid bodies--. (However, this has not been ascertained and is only one interpretation).

However, there is no method of directly perceiving (detecting) matter such as an elementary particle in this universe --if there is such a method, it is like psychic powers--, and humans have no choice but to measure matter indirectly through measurement means such as measurement media. (For example, if we turn off the light, we cannot see anything. In this case, light is the measurement medium).

Furthermore, since an measurement medium is always necessary for measurement, an interaction always occurs between the measurement medium and the measurement object.

In other words, the fundamental meaning of the physical events of measurement is the occurrence of physical interaction between the measurement object and the measurement medium. To put it simply, the contact of matter is directly equivalent to the measurement. It can also be said that substances are always measuring one another.

And, the measurement for humans is to obtain an measurement medium that is pushed back by the interaction that occurs between the measurement object. And the obtained medium is the trace or map of the interaction that occurs between the measurement object.

That is to say, measurement is to obtain a trace or a map of the measurement object. Even if we measure the measurement object (via the measurement medium), what we get is, at best, the medium that bounces back. It is principally impossible to directly measure (perceive) the measurement object itself.

《 (Leaflet) The reason why substances have the impression of being solid body 》

We humans usually understand matter as solid bodies or particles.

However, first of all, we do not perceive matter directly. For example, vision involves at least the medium of light. (When the light is turned off, things become invisible).

Solidity of matter seems to be just a sensuous and rough trace, projection, map, inference, interpretation, or impression we humans perceive after innumerable physical interactions that occur between matter and human's consciousness.

First and foremost, elementary particles cannot directly see -- detect -- other elementary particles. Elementary particles can only detect their own state and the changes that occur in it. Fundamentally, any subject can only know --detect-- its own state and its changes. Fortunately, interaction occurs between two elementary particles, and even if they come into contact, what are detected in each elementary particle are just the transfer of force and energy, the change in its own state caused by it, etc. This is the frontier and limit of detecting the presence of others. (Even the probe of a measuring instrument has no choice but to infer the state of the measuring object from the changes that occur on its own side).

Therefore, elementary particles cannot detect the presence of other elementary particles. (This is because the only thing something can detect is what is about itself).

Let's think figuratively here and assume that an elementary particle is endowed with intelligence. And, suppose, then, that the intelligence considers the causes of the change in the state of the elementary particle in which it dwells, and comes to the idea of the possible existence of others and the possible interaction between them.

However, such an idea is only a conjecture obtained by thinking about it in the lapse of time. And that conjecture cannot be proven. This is because, though seeing is believing, there is fundamentally no means of directly seeing the existence of others --means of directly indicating the existence of others--.

From a more realistic point of view, the changes that occur in elementary particles can be evaluated as traces, projections, or maps of the existence of others --or, interactions that occur between them--.

However, even if it is a trace or a map, the amount of data is usually only 1 bit. It is nothing more than a trace, projection, or map of a point. (However, it is conceivable that multiple interactions can occur simultaneously).

And this is a story at the elementary particle level. However, in organisms with large volumes, for example single-celled organisms, the story is different.

Consistent with its volume, the consciousness of a single-celled organism is speculated to be morphologically large. Moreover, the consciousness is integrated. Otherwise, the consciousness cannot simultaneously feel a myriad of bodily sensations and senses of thought. Then, as a single organism, (the myriad substances that make up) it becomes unable to move in an integrated and cooperative manner.

Hence, in single-celled organisms, the traces, projections, or maps attributed to the presence of others can constitute shapes rather than single points. And the shape can move over time.

Hence, it is expected that the presence of others --such as matter as a solid body-- is rather more readily inferred in living organisms. (This is because the shape projected onto the screen of one's consciousness moves on its own for some reason, regardless of oneself).

And, the solidity of matter seems to be something like rough inference, interpretation, or impression that is felt due to the large integratedness of consciousness that can perceive countless traces resulting from countless interactions at the same time.

Human consciousness is formed on the basis of the countless substances that make up the brain, so it seems to be morphologically extremely gigantic. And the resolution of human bodily sensations is rough. The (gigantic) framework in which human consciousness perceives bodily sensations does not have the resolution to distinguish infinitesimal physical events at the level of elementary particles. In vision and tactile, humans do never detect each one of the elementary particles. (Human consciousness doesn't have the slightest need to perceive --discern-- physical phenomena at the elementary particle level, and in a sense it is rather coarse).

This is the same as when the resolution of an image is lowered, the amount of data is gradually reduced, and multiple points are aggregated into a single point, making the image coarse. So to speak, solidity or the impression of solids is like an image with significantly reduced resolution.

The following seems to be the reason why we humans have the impression that substances are solid.

a) There is no means for perceiving (observing / measuring) an object, and a medium is essential for perception. Even if we perceive the perceptual object directly, what we get is a medium that is bounced or repelled by interaction with the perceptual object. (In this case, force is also positioned as a medium). And this is not the perceptual object itself, but something like a trace or a map of the perceptual object.

b) Human beings live in a large-sized world and do not perceive individual elementary particles in detail, and the resolution of human perception is extremely rough. This is such that reducing the amount of data in an image makes the image grainier.

In other words, what we perceive through our bodily senses is nothing more than traces or projections of extremely rough texture, with the amount of data (information) drastically reduced.

And the understanding that matter is solid seems to depend on the impressions obtained through this framework of human perception. It is natural for the consciousness of living beings operating at a higher, coarser level of perception to perceive matter as a definite existence of solid body.

However, even if humans have the impression that matter is solid, it does not necessarily mean that the matter itself is solid.

It seems that, in every matter in this universe, energies are exposed on the surface. And, that also means that the dynamic actions embodied by energies is exposed on the surface of matter. It seems that the extremely brisk functions of those actions and the large and rough framework of perception in which they operate bring the sensuous and coarse trace, projection, map, inference, interpretation, or impression which is perceived as a solid body (particle) by humans who live in a large world, (as the result of push-back function).

However, those trace and so on are never an illusion. This is because the actions that are the root cause of how these sensations are perceived by the consciousness of us humans are firmly present as physical entities embodied by Energy. Sensation is, so to speak, a map. However, the (non-material) action (inherent in matter) that is the cause is firmly present.

And there are no solid bodies in this universe. There are only non-material energies and the non-material actions embodied by that energies. Matter is, in realize, an integrated aggregate --fussed body-- of myriad energies and the actions --for example, push-back action-- embodied by those energies. Matter is action itself. There is no matter that is stiff in this universe, only non-material things that have no material volume.

《 (Leaflet) Strictly speaking, this universe is a complete vacuum 》

I'm no longer obsessed with solid bodies, but by chance I've come to an idea that the universe is a complete vacuum. I'm a little stunned myself.

It's because, in a nutshell, the source of all things in this universe, the energies, have no volume.

And the vacuum is filled with that volumeless energy.

And, the inside of matter is also a vacuum, but it is also filled with energy that has no volume.

Even though matter has an apparent volume, it does not necessarily mean that that volume is filled with solid matter.

The point is that energies are physical actions themselves. If there is physical actions, it behaves like matter.

Physical properties such as volume are nothing more than static results (effects) brought about by the working of actions via the measurement medium Physical properties seem to be like maps of the working of actions. Physical properties themselves do not exist as physical entities embodied by energy.

I think "matter" is like another name for physical actions.

And physical action is also the identity of consciousness.

Now they are connected. Surprisingly, there was a strange relationship between the formation of consciousness and the Big Bang.

It may be that, in the Big Bang, infinite amount of energy could instantly erupt from an infinitesimal point because energy have no volume and is non-material. This is reasonable.

(In the big bang, quanta of solid matter with volume did not erupt. A quantum of solid matter does not exist anywhere in this universe).

Perhaps something with volume --solid bodies / material things / things whose interior is filled with solid matter other than energy-- may not be able to exist fundamentally. The only thing that exists in this universe is energy that has no volume.

《 (Leaflet) Energy and matter are actions themselves 》

It is judged that energies are volumeless and non-material from the Big Bang theory. In other words, although energy is the source of the physicality of this universe, it is not matter.

(For this reason, in the Big Bang, the infinite energy that forms this universe could be instantaneously erupted from the infinitesimal point. This is reasonable. Also, it is absurd that something with volume exists a priori. No reason).

And matter (elementary particles) was formed by the fusion of countless energies. And matter has volume.

However, even if countless energies are scattered in a wide space and form one integrated aggregate (elementary particle), in a strict sense the aggregate does not generate volume. This is because, no matter how many things with 0 volume (= energies) are added, no true volume is generated.

In other words, no matter how much an object has an apparent volume, its internal space is a vacuum. This is amazing. Strictly speaking, the inside of matter is a complete vacuum.

Even though matter has an apparent volume, it does not necessarily mean that that volume is filled with solid matter.

(Yet that vacuum is filled with volumeless energies).

Then, it follows that, including matter, this universe is a complete vacuum. (The space is said to be formed by Higgs bosons, and the inner space of the Higgs bosons is also a vacuum).

(However this is justified. This is because, (this is very difficult to explain), the existence of solid matter (solid body) --things that have a volume and whose interior is filled with something other than a vacuum-- seems absurd because there is no reason or basis for their existence. Even if something can exist, it may have be something without volume (such as an idea). (And, in fact, solid matter do not exist anywhere in this universe)).

Then, why does volume occur in matter that has no volume in the strict sense? It seems that it must depend on some kind of physical work (mechanism / framework). And it is speculated that the energy has an action that fulfills such a function. Because there is nothing other than energy. In other words, in order for matter to generate volume, energy must have an action to achieve it.

It seems to be the action of constituting a volume and the action of pushing back other matter on the surface of the constituted volume.

With these two actions, an apparent volume is generated even in a vacuum matter. And matter can behave like a solid body.

Volume is, so to speak, the result (effect) brought about by the workings of actions, and is a static physical property.

In other words, as long as there are physical actions, static physical properties --various physical properties of various elementary particles and substances-- that are apparent are brought about. Physical properties are like maps of how actions work, obtained via the medium of measurement.

Moreover, energy seems to be actions themselves, in that it is volumeless and non-material. And, since the materiality of matter is the static apparent result --effect / projection / mapping-- brought about by the workings of actions, the matter is also thought to be the actions themselves.

"Matter" is like an alias for physical actions.

Strictly speaking, there is nothing material (= solid matter / solid body / something with volume) in this universe, this universe is a complete vacuum. In this universe there are only energies (without volume) (and physical actions embodied by those energies).

《 (Leaflet) Energy, self-emergence action, and consciousness 》

Energies have self-emergence action (or self-fusion action). It tries to use themselves as materials to form a physical order, if possible.

Consciousness seems to be a huge fused body of countless energies and to be energies themselves, and it is automatically formed by the self-emergence action of energies. In other words, the self-emergence action of energies is the direct driving force of consciousness formation. And, it is speculated that the reduction of entropy production rate in environment activates this action.

A substance is an integrated aggregate of countless energies. And the energies of the constituent elements are exposed on the surface of the substance. Furthermore, in living bodies, countless substances are in contact with one another. This means that, in the living body, the energies of the constituent elements of countless substances are in direct contact with one another.

For this reason, it seems that those energies in a living body can, in a sense, easily fuse and form consciousness through the self-emergence action, if the conditions are met.

(The activity of each brain cell seems to be a collaboration between the constituent substances and the (cellular) consciousness occurring in that cell. Therefore, although the activity of brain cells may change, it is speculated that cellular consciousness continues from the beginning of the formation of the cells. Otherwise, the cell will die quickly.

And, when we wake up from sleep, our subjective consciousness arises instantly, and this seems to mean that, with the increase in the activity of the subordinate cells, their consciousness will instantly and easily fuse due to the self-emergence action in energies to form a large subjective consciousness.

(The subjective consciousness of us, animals with brains, (and plants) is very gigantic. And, in fact, the consciousness of living bodies such as cells, tissues, and organs that do not have a brain is also huge. To put it simply, consciousness is inherently huge)).

《 It is impossible to directly demonstrate something that is not material 》

Various physical phenomena occur in this universe. And energy is assumed to be the root cause and fundamental driving force of these.

And, there are many different types of energy, including thermal energy, kinetic energy, potential energy, and electrical energy.

However, it seems that these energies have never been directly demonstrated, whether they are energy itself or individual forms of energy.

There is no doubt that energy exists and operates spontaneously, independently, and actively as the cause of various physical phenomena, but, in fact, energy is only speculated and assumed as the cause of various physical phenomena.

By the way, according to the Big Bang theory, energy has no volume and is evaluated as non-material. (And therefore it is invisible). Although energy definitely exists as the cause of various physical phenomena, it is a mysterious thing (to us humans who live in a world of large, static, and passive mappings or projections). (However, if we change our perspective, energy may be able to operate in a variety of ways because it has no volume, is non-material, and is mysterious).

Therefore, it is no wonder that energy cannot be directly demonstrated. That's rather reasonable. (After all, it has no volume and is non-material).

In other words, there are things in reality that exist but cannot be directly verified, and whose existence (or occurrence) can only be inferred indirectly through the occurrence of some physical phenomenon.(First of all, energy falls into this category).
