Piyopiyo Story Seven -What we can do for the elderly-
Kana, who works in an elderly welfare center, and Piyopiyo met.
“What does it mean to grow old?” Kana asked.
“It means to get closer to death, but it’s actually a peaceful and natural change. You can still grow up, even if you get old,” answered Piyopiyo.
In the Piyo Star, they picked flowers and made flower bouquets. They also picked up the stars that flowed along the river and ate them. There were many tastes, and they were all delicious.
In the Bear Land, they sang songs about bears.
“Won’t you come to the wonderful, wonderful Bear Land?”
They learned many other songs about bears as well and memorized them.
Kana went to her elderly welfare center and told many grandmothers and grandfathers about her experience in the Piyo Star.
She visited many other nursing homes and nurseries and spread the wonderful dreams of the Piyo Star.
