Piyopiyo Story Two -Piyopiyo goes to earth-
Piyopiyo and Piko were playing happily in the FLOWER GARDEN. Then a girl holding two flowers came walking towards them.
“My name is Rebecca. I came from earth. My mom told me that if I hold this emerald rose and wish to go to the Piyo Star, I can go there.”
“Oh really. It must have been a long trip. My name is Piyopiyo.”
“My name is Piko,” said Piko.
“It’s nice to meet you,” said Piyopiyo and Piko.
Piyopiyo, Piko and Rebecca went to Piyopiyo’s home.
“Here we are! The bottom house is my house and the upper house is Piko’s house.”
“Inside the houses, there are shell-shaped beds.”
Piyopiyo and Rebecca went to Piyopiyo’s house and Piko went to Piko’s house.
“Good night.”
“Good night, Piko.”
Since then, Piyopiyo took Rebecca to many places in the Piyo star. Piyopiyo and Rebecca made many wonderful memories.
“This is GREEN LAND. Over there is Stooper. His eyes are cute. And this is Broco. There are two types of Broco. Green and blue. They both look delicious. This is Kuma. He is shy but very kind.”
“This is the FLOWER GARDEN, and from the left are Blossom and Flowero.”
“In RAINBOW WORLD, Rainbow uses these clouds and comes walking towards us. It’s very beautiful.”
“This is SAPPHIRE LAKE. Over there, Skater is skating gracefully.”
“This lake is always frozen, so you can walk on it. As you get to the center, the blue gets darker. In total, it looks like the color of Sapphire. It’s a mysterious lake.”
One night, Rebecca said, “Hey, Piyopiyo?”
“Yes?”
“I need to go back to earth soon, but will you come with me?”
“What!?”
“The earth is pretty fun, and I’m going to miss you, so...”
“I’ll miss you too. Okay, let’s go to the Fairies’ Land tomorrow and ask how the Piyos can go to earth. I wonder what kind of a star the earth is...”
“Okay, here we are at the Fairies’ Land.”
Two fairies came towards them and introduced themselves.
“My name is Sapphire.”
“My name is Emerald.”
“How may we help you?”
“Please show us how the Piyos can go to the earth.”
“That is easy.”
“When you want to go to the earth, hold this Sapphire-colored necklace, stand in the middle of the SAPPHIRE LAKE and wish to go to the earth. If you want to go to the Piyo Star from the earth, hold this Emerald-colored necklace and wish to go to the Piyo Star.”
“Okay. Thank you very much.”
“It's no problem. Come again, if you need to know anything else.”
Piyipiyo and Rebecca left the Fairies’ Land and held hands.
“So, let’s meet again in the earth.”
“Yes.”
Piyopiyo stood at the middle of the SAPPHIRE LAKE and closed his eyes. 'Please take me to the earth,' he wished.
When Piyopiyo opened his eyes again, he was in Rebecca’s room.
“I arrived at Rebecca’s room! What a wonderful room.”
Just then, the door opened and Rebecca’s mother was there. “Oh Rebecca, welcome home. Hey, Piyopiyo!? It’s been a long time. How are you?”
“Oh you are the girl who first came to the Piyo Star. You’ve changed a lot. I am fine, thank you.”
“That’s nice. I feel pleased to see you again. Please enjoy your stay in the earth.”
Rebecca’s mother left.
“Do you know my mother?”
“Yes. Long before you were born...”
The two talked until late in the night and eventually fell asleep together.
In the next morning, Rebecca introduced Piyopiyo to the town.
“This is the supermarket.”
“This is the book store.”
“This is the park.”
“Isn’t the earth wonderful?”
“Yes, it’s amazing!”
However, Piyopiyo secretly felt uncomfortable about the sound of airplanes and construction work during the daytime and the sound of ambulances and bikes in the nighttime.
At school, on the first day, Piyopiyo was introduced to the class by the teacher.
“This is Piyopiyo from Piyo star. Everybody, please be nice to him.”
When recess time came, some kids came to Piyopiyo and said, “Piyopiyo, let’s do jump rope!"
Piyopiyo was very good at jumping, so he played well.
“Wow!”
“You’re very good at it!”
Piyopiyo beamed and said, “The Piyos can jump very high.”
Piyopiyo was able to enjoy his first day at school. However, on the second day, several problems occurred.
“I’m going to play with Piyopiyo!”
“No, I’m going to play with him!”
“Piyopiyo, who do you like better, me or Amy?”
“Um...”
“Hey, Piyopiyo, I want to see your necklace!”
“No, this is my important-”
“Come on!”
Everybody came and tried to take Piyopiyo’s necklace. The next moment, the jewel of Piyopiyo’s necklace was gone.
“Oh no, the jewel of my necklace is gone!”
In school, there were many fights and bullying and some couldn’t go to school for them.
The earth was a wonderful star, but it didn’t meet the ideals of the Piyo Star. Piyopiyo decided to go back to the Piyo Star.
“Let’s send a letter to Piko!”
Dear Piko,
I’m in trouble! I am in earth now, and I can’t go back to Piyo Star...
Piko, would you please go to the Fairies’ Land and receive the Sapphire and Emerald necklace for me and come to earth?
Love Piyopiyo
“Make it into a paper airplane and send it out of the window!”
Piyopiyo made the letter into a paper airplane and sent it out of the window of Rebecca’s room.
In the Piyo Star, Piko read the letter and said, “Oh my goodness, Piyopiyo! I was wondering why you were absent for so long... All right, I’ll go to earth.”
Piko came to earth and Piyopiyo said, “Thank you, Piko!”
“Okay, let’s all wish to go to the Piyo Star...”
In this way, they somehow managed to go to Piyo Star.
By the way, the Piyos think of getting married when they are about four years old. Piyopiyo and Piko were thinking of getting married as well.
“Okay! Let’s have our wedding at the WHITE CHURCH this afternoon!”
At the WHITE CHURCH the wedding began.
As the priest, Corsack asked Piyopiyo, “Do you swear to love your wife Piko forever?”
“Yes, I do," Piyopiyo answered.
Then Corsack asked Piko, “Do you swear to love your husband Piyopiyo forever?”
“Yes, I do,” Piko answered.
“You may now kiss the bride-”
Just then, the door of the church opened and Imn was standing there, with snakes and dry leaves coming out of his head.
“Oh no, Imn is angry!”
“Why are you angry, Imn?”
“You didn’t invite me to your wedding!”
“Oh, sorry, we forgot...”
“Uh-oh! Terra is outside!”
There were screams within the church. “Aah!” “He’s going to blow fire at us!”
Then, the Shape Trio took action.
“We are in the middle of a wedding! Those who cannot stay quiet will have to leave!”
Imn finally stopped his actions.
“Oh look! Sunny is outside, so Terra left!”
(“Oh yeah, Terra doesn’t like sunlight,” somebody murmured.)
“All right!” Corsack said again, “You may now kiss the bride!”
Piyopiyo and Piko kissed.
(Everybody squealed, “Wow!” “All right!”)
Cracker cracked, Bam! Bam!
“Oh yes!” “Congratulations!” Cracker celebrated.
“Yes, I made it!” Imn said happily.
In this way, Piyopiyo and Piko got married. They went on a honeymoon. Rebecca went back to earth. Eventually, she raised a child and let her go to the Piyo Star. At that time, Piyopiyo and Piko had a baby named Baby Piyo, so the child went to Fat Piyo and Thin Piyo’s place.
Life goes on in the Piyo Star and the earth. Let’s pray that these two stars will thrive forever.
