Beyond Time

In 2199, the whole earth was united.

There was no war, no country. But, every human being could enjoy their right and benefit. Everyone had freedom.

In this kind of world, there was a company, Beyond Time.

A young man, Adolf, was selected to be one of the researcher in Beyond time.

It was said that, Adolf was selected by the boss of this company, for no reason.

Who know, maybe Adolf was the son of the boss. Anyway, Adolf started his life in Beyond Time.

“Adolf, this is the first day that you work here. If you have anything that you don’t understand, you can ask anyone here. We are this team, and this team, is us. No one less, and no one more. You will be the only person that can join us. Ok, so~, just talk about the machine that we are making, the time machine. Boss said that you are the only one that can help us. You don’t need to know the reason, the only thing you need to know is, you can help us.”

“How?”

“You will know one day. Also, our boss is one of our teammate.”

Well, the boss, ar…, well, just like the urban tale, “Doppelgänger”, Adolf looked the same as his boss, but a bit older.

Adolf was now 25, and his boss was now 55, needless to said, there was a big chance that Adolf was the illegitimate child of his boss.

Maybe as this reason, the boss cared Adolf a lots.

In the whole team, only Adolf didn’t know the real name of his boss, and for the others, they all knew.

Day by day, Adolf followed his teammate works, and the time machine, there was not much progress.

They just simply made the outside of the time machine with the material that could withstand the pressure of time travel. But for the part that break the time zone and going to other time, it hadn’t success.

Well, don’t you think that is impossible to make the time machine?

Yes, they should not make the time machine.

But, only the boss know why.

One day, just a normal day. Well, a bit special. The whole team finished the first product, and yes, they wanted to test it.

“Test 1 will begin in 10 seconds… 5,4,3,2,1, and start now.”

And test 1 failed.

The whole lab was exploded, and only Adolf survived.

“Boss, you can’t die, how could this experiment go on without you?”

“Adolf… take the … design of … time machine, and save me … when you make it…”

That is the last words of the boss.

Ten years later.

Adolf employed 15 people as his staff, and finished the time machine.

“Boss, I will save you one day.”

The whole team activated the time machine.

However, there are some error that make them to the 2179. Due to the error, the time machine was broken.

2179, was the years that Beyond Time was set up. And the one who set up Beyond Time is, Adolf.
