Liam and Reina
Reina is here
“Reina…?”
After little moment of silence in the classroom, teacher said, “Liam, what is wrong? Please sit down. Let the transfer student introduce herself.”
Liam couldn’t stop looking at her, at simultaneously Liam try to understand the situation his in but more he tries clear his mind more confused he got. Liam said, “Sorry sir…” and sat back down. Ken and Jenny was giggling Jenny was looking at Liam try not to laugh out loud and Ken was like “Hey, bro…that’s some interesting approach man…”
“Reina, please introduce yourself.”
She start talking slowly with such a clear voice…
“Thank you Mr. Lanski, My Name is “Reina K. July. I am from Area-A section 88. I am not used to big city like Area-E but I am really outgoing and hope to explore this city as much as I can to get used to. Please take good care of me. Thank you. “
“Ok Reina, please take a seat right next to Jennifer, and Ken, please show her around the school.”
Ken taps my shoulder and stands up and said,
“Mr. Lanski, I don’t think I can show her around this afternoon, I have class presidents meeting with Jenny for coming up summer events sir.”
Mr. Lanski looks around the room again and smiles and said,
“Hey Liam, seems like you were interested in Reina so much why don’t you show her around?”
Liam was still having such a hard time trying to understanding what is exactly happening to him, but Liam heard Mr. Lanski very clear, and without thinking deeply, He said “I am more than glad to show her around sir.”
As full classroom giggles, Jenny whispers “How do you know her name? I came to think of it, you know her name this morning when I went to your house to wake you up. I think you said Reina right?”
Liam whispers back “Believe it or not, I seen her in my dream every night since this year started, and I have been watching same dream since than…”
Jenny looks at Liam funny.
“You think I am going crazy huh?”
“No, Liam I know people sometimes watch same dream over and over but not every day.”
“It’s okay Jenny, I am still try to understand what is going on and I need to talk to her.”
“Liam, let me know if you any help”
“Thank you Jenny. I feel little relieved now that I told you about my dream.”
As Liam finish talking to Jenny, he saw her walk up to her seat and sitting down, Liam start remembering my dream more clearly.
He remember Reina had bright silver hair and emerald green eye in my dream, he also notice she has little darker gray hair but she definitely has that beautiful emerald green eyes.
In the space ship she was floating by the big window but her height is about the same, and her voice is exactly the way he remembered from his dream...he thought about it all day. Liam even wrote everything down in his note book…and when he looks at Reina. She just smiles and Liam couldn’t do nothing but to turn around and look away.
Liam remembered Ken and Jenny was worrying about him all day, but other than that he don’t remember much, his mind wasn’t there and when he come realize he was attending the last class before lunch.
During that class period people from MNM LAB-9 came to our class and dropped paperwork and new supplements for clinical study and trial, at that time Liam didn’t even notice his dad’s friend was the one who came by to explain the situation.
“Hey, Liam…”
When he heard her voice, every thought and thinking he was doing all day just felt stupid and other nonsense.
Liam was able to answer in the right manner,
“Hey, Reina. Ready to take a look around the school?”
“Yes, thank you…”
“Reina, sorry about this morning I was acting little wired, and how do you know my name already?”
“I heard it Mr. Lanski calling your name…but may I ask you a same question? How do you know my name?”
Liam felt stupid asking her “How does she know my name…” of course…Mr. Lanski said it few time thorough out the morning. “Hey Liam!” “Hey Liam, stop day dreaming!” “Hey Liam? What happen to you?” “Hey Liam you have to be late to school to be focused?”….
Liam was thinking *Do I should let her the truth now? Does she going to think I am wired? If she doesn’t think that already?*
“Hey Liam and Reina, are you guys ready to go see the school and part of Area-E, maybe go get same food too right?”
It was Ken and Jenny.
“Hey I thought you two are attending class president meeting in the afternoon, right?”
“Oh, that’s right, but it wasn’t scheduled until next week. Sorry for the confusion…”
Ken and Jenny seems to enjoy the situation Liam was in but the timing was so perfect that I end up not explaining why Liam knew her name.
We showed Reina a different classrooms we use throughout the day and went to lunch. Ken and Jenny talked a lot and kept us entertained. Thanks to them I was able to talk to Reina without thinking about my dreams.
“Hey, Reina. Where do you live?” Jenny asked.
“My package is getting here today at Section 7, Lab-9 Complex.”
Liam almost spilled my drink and said “Section 7? The Lab-9 Complex?”
“Yes, I am moving in…” as she checks her mobile device “Area-E, Section-7 Lab-9 Complex Room 231.”
Jenny and Ken looks at each other and screams…
“That’s where Liam live!”
Reina looks at three of us cross the round table at the café and says “Sorry Liam, I knew your name too…”
She told us that her parents died in the accident in the Lab and Liam’s father was good friend of Reina’s father who was willing to take care of her.
Jenny said “No wander you know her name too Liam.” Ken also said “You had us worried when you start saying something about your dream. Please don’t hide things like that between us. You know we will not talk about it in school. That’s what you guys want right?”
Reina smiles and says “Yes. Thank you. I don’t want rumor to go around.”
Liam just have to go with the flow…”Yeah…that’s right, sorry about hiding all this…”
Reina was looking at Liam smiling, but he was able to tell in her smile that she is still hiding something.
We went back to school for the afternoon classes and other than Ken and Jenny looking at Liam with full smile making fun of him, nothing else happened during school and it was time for us to go home.
“Liam, are you ready? Hum… can you please show me the way?”
“Yeah, Reina, of course.”
“Where is Ken and Jenny?”
Reina said “They told me they are attending Class president meeting, you didn’t know?”
Liam thought “They got me…got me good.”
“Yeah, I didn’t know. Thank you. Ready to go?”
“Whenever you are ready.”
As we are going home I decided to talk about the truth.
“So…you live where I live?”
“Yes, I thought you know that already, because you knew my name this morning…I believe I sent all the information to your Dad, Mr. Noethlich like a week ago.”
“Ok, honestly…it was first time I heard about that information at the café we went for lunch…my father is really bad about handing information. Sorry I didn’t mean to lie to you.”
“So how did you know my name this morning?”
“Reina…Please, don’t think I’m crazy, but I am having same dream last six month… and in that dream I see you every single time…”
Liam explained everything to Reina.
It was after we got off the train and walking by river bank and everything is reflecting orange. The sunset was right behind her she ran up on the bank turns around.
Liam wasn’t able to see tears in her eye…and she says.
“Liam, I have been seeing same dream since my parents died in the Lab accident beginning of this year. When I saw you this morning I almost lost my mind…”
She ran down from the river bank and jumps and give him big hug. Liam now realize she is crying and understood everything.
“She was also confused, and afraid that I was going to think she was crazy. She couldn’t believe what she was seeing.”
“My dad didn’t let her know about me and took the offer so she was exactly in the same situation Liam was.”
“Hey Reina, I Know we have a lot to talk…but for now let’s go home…”
As Liam looks up and he saw Ken and Jenny right under the river bank, Ken was surprised and Jenny’s face was red… Liam shakes his head and look down on Reina and said,
“Reina, we might have to explain little bit more to Ken and Jenny.”
“Let’s not hide anything to Ken and Jenny.”
She looked up and said “I am not going to hide anything anymore…”
Reina kissed Liam…
Liam heard Jenny screams like a little cat…in the background.
