地球上の生命
After the great battle that threatened the existence of many dimensions ended, Ryu and Lyra's lives continued with a somewhat fragile calm. They returned to their place of origin, trying to rebuild their daily lives that had been disrupted by the various forces that emerged. However, the shadow of the battle with such a powerful entity still loomed over their minds.
Their days were spent with simple everyday life—enjoying the small happiness that they often ignored when faced with battle after battle. The city where they lived was now starting to recover from the damage caused some time ago. Its residents began to rebuild their destroyed houses, while recovering their strength after facing many great battles.
Ryu and Lyra lived with their family, trying to find a new balance. With the power they had and the many experiences of dealing with uncontrollable beings, they tried to live more carefully—planning a more peaceful and serene future. Ryu often sat in his yard, thinking about the battle with God and the consequences they had to face afterwards. Meanwhile, Lyra always tried to comfort and guide Ryu to keep fighting for positive things.
One day, they were walking around the city, enjoying the evening atmosphere that was gradually darkening as the sun set behind the mountains. The fresh air and the gentle breeze made them feel a little calmer. Walking with their loved ones gave them the peace they needed to forget about all the destruction and war for a moment.
"Ryu, look at the sky. The colors of this sunset are beautiful, aren't they?" Lyra said, pointing to the reddish and golden horizon.
Ryu looked up and nodded slowly, a small smile appearing on his face. "Yes... sometimes I forget how simple and beautiful this world can be if we allow ourselves to feel it without being burdened by so many things."
They walked further, passing through small streets filled with residents busy preparing for their daily activities. Not far from them, children were playing and laughing happily. The sight reminded them of the simple things that were always easy to forget when in the middle of a great war.
However, behind the calm, Ryu still felt tense. Every time he closed his eyes, he still saw the image of the battle with God and the consequences of the many powers that came to him. Sometimes, he wondered if he could ever truly escape this shadow. Even though he had always managed to survive, every victory had come at a cost.
When they arrived home, their family greeted them warmly. It was the little moments that always made them smile—the sense of peace they could enjoy just by being together with the people they loved.
Night fell, and Ryu sat in the living room with his father and mother. Lyra sat next to him, rubbing her cold hands in a cup of warm tea. Their smiles were simple but meaningful, like a reminder that even though they had powers that could change reality and face great beings who came to destroy them, they were still human beings who could find happiness through the warmth of home and the peace of family.
Out there, the world was still spinning as usual. But behind this calm, Ryu and Lyra knew that threats could come again at any time. They could only hope that, with the experiences they had had and the strength they possessed, they could continue to maintain balance and protect their world.
Those simple days were a reminder that amidst the war and chaos they faced, they had one thing they could always count on: each other.
