リュウの意識
Ryu slowly opened his eyes, the pain in his body still felt, but lighter than before. His vision was blurry, but the shadow of a familiar person immediately appeared in front of him.
"Ryu! You're awake!" Lyra exclaimed in a trembling voice, full of relief.
Before Ryu could speak, Lyra hugged him tightly, her tears flowing non-stop. "I thought... I thought I'd lose you!" she said, her sobs clearly heard in Ryu's ears.
Ryu, who was still weak, raised his hand slowly, touching Lyra's back. "I'm still here, Lyra... thank you for taking care of me," he said in a hoarse voice.
"You idiot!" Lyra exclaimed suddenly, straightening her body and looking at Ryu's face with eyes that were still wet. "Why do you always involve yourself in danger like this?!"
Ryu smiled slightly, even though his face was still pale. "I can't just stay silent when something threatens us... I have to protect everyone."
Lyra took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. She knew Ryu was telling the truth, but her worry just wouldn't go away. "But don't forget that you have to take care of yourself too. If you die... I..."
Her words trailed off, but Ryu could see how much Lyra truly cared about him.
"I promise," Ryu said in a firmer voice. "I'll be more careful from now on."
The two of them were silent for a moment, enjoying the rare peace they felt amidst the chaos.
A New Hope
After a few moments, Ryu tried to stand up. Though his body was still weak, his determination was clear. "We can't stay here for long. There's still so much we need to do."
Lyra helped Ryu up, though she still held his hand tightly as if afraid of losing him again. "What's our next move?" she asked.
Ryu looked up at the sky, his face full of determination. "We have to find out more about what really happened. And we have to get stronger."
Lyra nodded. "I'll always be with you, Ryu. No matter what."
The two of them walked out of the cave, leaving behind the memories of the fight they had just been through, ready to face the next challenge together.
