決戦
In the heart of the dark forest, Ryu stood, staggering, his body feeling heavy. He had been fighting against King Shin's army for hours, but now, before him stood one of King Shin's strongest generals, a muscular man wielding a large black sword that radiated an evil aura.
The general laughed derisively, his sharp eyes glaring at Ryu with contempt. "You think you can defeat me, young one? Just because you have the blood of King Toru, it doesn’t mean you can stop fate."
Ryu shivered, but he tried to hold back the pain that gnawed at his body. His once handsome face now looked pale, weak from exhaustion. Fresh blood flowed from his wounds, but he would not surrender. "I... will protect this world," he said, his voice heavy. "I will stop you, even if it costs me my life."
The general only smiled wider, dismissing Ryu’s words. "Your courage is impressive. But it's not enough to stop me."
In an instant, the general leaped toward Ryu with incredible speed, his large, powerful hand aimed directly at Ryu’s chest. Ryu couldn’t dodge. The general’s hand pierced through Ryu’s chest with devastating force, stabbing directly into his heart.
Ryu gasped in shock, blood pouring from his mouth. Red blood flowed freely from the stab wound, and his once handsome face grew weaker, fighting the unbearable pain. "G-ghh..." Ryu groaned, his body almost collapsing, but he still tried to stand.
The general withdrew his hand from Ryu’s chest, and Ryu fell to his knees, blood flowing from his mouth. Ryu’s once fiery eyes now began to dull, his body growing weaker from the blood loss.
"Don’t waste your life, young one," the general said, staring at Ryu with hatred in his eyes. "You’re too weak to face us."
Ryu, now barely able to lift his body, looked up with vacant eyes. "I... will... not... give up..." he whispered, barely audible. "I will... fight..."
Suddenly, a bright light illuminated the sky. A soft yet powerful voice rang in Ryu’s ears. "Ryu... Don’t let yourself fall so easily."
Ryu opened his eyes, which were almost closed, and saw a figure he knew very well—Leo, King Spirit. Inside him, an extraordinary power began to rise, the strength Leo had given him, providing the push he needed to survive.
"Rise, Ryu. You are the worthy successor. Nothing can stop you if you have the will to fight."
Ryu felt the power coursing through his body. Struggling, he began to rise again, the blood flowing from his body stopping for a moment. Ryu’s eyes widened, and though weak, there was a strong determination within him. "I... won’t let King Shin win..."
With all his remaining strength, Ryu raised his hand, and a pure white aura enveloped his body. "I am the heir of King Toru. I will not let this world fall!"
Suddenly, Ryu’s body shone brighter, and an incredible power surged within him. Despite his wounds, he felt new strength flowing through him, the power of King Toru that he had inherited. In an instant, Ryu launched a counterattack so powerful it silenced the general before him.
The general was shocked, not expecting Ryu to rise after nearly dying. With his newfound strength, Ryu attacked with lightning speed, delivering a powerful blow directly to the general. In a single strike, the general was forced to retreat, stunned by the strength that had suddenly emerged from within Ryu.
"This... this is impossible!" the general yelled, finding himself on the defensive for the first time in the battle.
But Ryu, breathing heavily, blood still dripping from his body, stood tall. "I... will not give up... I will protect this world!"
The general, now feeling threatened, stared at Ryu with confusion and fear creeping into his expression. What should have been an easy victory for him had now turned into a much larger challenge than he had anticipated.
However, no matter what happened, Ryu knew one thing—he would never stop fighting. Not as long as there was still hope within him.
