It's not God who brings suffering. It's people.
What took away what mattered most to you wasn't God.
It was people—people who acted as if they were gods.
When life becomes unbearable, it's easy to curse a silent God.
"If you have power,
If I've lived rightly,
If I've prayed faithfully all this time,
Then help me!"
Everyone has cried something like this in their darkest moments.
But no matter how much you pray, help doesn't always come.
What you love may still be taken. Violated. Lost forever.
You get angry. You feel the injustice burning.
And you don't know where to put that pain.
But don't misplace it.
Did God ever say:
"Go to war"?
"Hate one another"?
"Kill in my name"?
Did God say that—without the voice of powerful humans speaking for Him?
Think.
Who really caused it?
What really caused it?
Don't let them take any more from you.
Don't be deceived.
Let me share a story I've always held dear.
I read it as a child, in an old tale:
"Good prayers reach the good gods.
Evil prayers reach the evil gods.
So no matter which god you pray to, if your wish is good, it will come to me.
But I cannot answer one side alone,
if what you're asking was never mine to decide.
You wonder why?
Because even among your so-called enemies,
there may be kind and just souls too.
It's cruel, I know.
My tears never stop.
Most people pray only for rescue—not for joy.
And so anger, hatred, resentment...
all feed the evil gods.
Tragedy grows.
I'm tired too—watching those I love suffer endlessly,
not knowing when the pain will end.
I won't tell you not to hate me.
If it brings you peace, then hate me.
But when your heart is heavy,
I hope you'll pause
and ask where that hatred truly came from.
Ask yourself what other names you give
to these 'evil gods' in your world.
And if, someday,
something small brings you happiness—
tell me.
Joy gives me strength too.
I pray that many of my beloved children
will spend today free from sorrow."
It's a good story, isn't it?

Sometimes, thinking too much can drown you in anger and grief.
It makes you feel sick.
Rest for a while.
