Bet on a horse
I came back to the middle of the newspaper, and focused on the race that my owner, Yoshiko might be going to bet. When I looked at predictions by editors of the newspaper, one of which was the same as the Yoshiko’ prediction.
Fair enough.
I can bet that Yoshiko is going to bet this race, and that the prediction by Yoshiko must be ‘3-1-5’.
I tried to use the theory that I used when I was human, which enables to estimate a probability in the future by using known numbers as its parameter.
I can only obtain one series of data from one last race from this newspaper, while this meets the requirements, but is not sufficient.
Now, I have taken a mathematical calculator from a drawer of official desk of the owner.
Then, I realized that cat’s hands are not good for typing a calculator. I am sure it should be one of limited demerits of cat for being mathematician.
I have done the calculation.
As my result, it is 35% that horse No. 1 will get within 3rd prize.
Whereas, horse No. 4 is more reliable to get within 3rd prize, which is 80%.
Also, it is 60% that horse No. 6 or No. 7 will get within 3rd prize.
I am pretty sure that the horse that will get 1st prize is horse No. 3, which is 95% sure.
Therefore, my prediction is; ‘3-4-6’.
