魔王と勇者の晩餐会(英語版) The Villain invites the hero for dinner
The villain, known for his cunning and devious ways, had been tracking the hero's every move for months. But there was something about the hero that intrigued the villain, something that made his heart race whenever she was near. And so, on a moonlit night, the villain decided to do something unexpected - he would cook a meal for the hero.
The villain knew that the hero had been on the run for days and was likely exhausted and hungry. So, he set to work in the small, cramped kitchen of their hideout, carefully selecting the ingredients and preparing them with precision. He diced vegetables with a sharp knife, sliced meat with the precision of a surgeon, and mixed spices with a delicate touch.
As the meal cooked on the stove, the villain couldn't help but feel nervous. What if the hero didn't like the food? What if he suspected a trap? But the thought of the hero enjoying the meal, of her eyes lighting up with delight, kept the villain going.
Finally, the meal was ready. The villain plated the food and set it out on a small table, carefully arranging the cutlery and adding a single red rose in a vase. Then, he waited nervously for the hero to arrive.
When the hero finally entered the room, the villain's heart skipped a beat. But the hero didn't draw her weapon or make any aggressive moves. Instead, she took a tentative step towards the table and sniffed the air. The scent of the food was too much to resist, and soon, the hero was sitting down and tucking into the meal.
As the hero ate, the villain watched, his heart swelling with a mixture of fear and longing. But as the hero finished the last bite, she looked up and smiled. "Thank you," she said, her voice soft and kind. "This is the best meal I've had in a long time."
The villain felt a warmth spread through his chest at the hero's words, and for a moment, he forgot about his nefarious plans. Maybe, just maybe, there was more to life than being a villain. And maybe, just maybe, the hero could be convinced to join forces with him instead...
