Sora left the bedroom 10 minutes later to find Rio in the kitchen cooking breakfast. Sora was hit with a strong smell of something burning. Sora looked at the pot Rio happened to be stirring to see smoke pouring out of it.
"Rio its burning!" Rio who was lost in thought over the events that had just happened was stirring the burnt food around in the pot.
"Huh? Ah! Oh no, it's ruined... What should I do now..." Rio had broken out of her daze to find the breakfast she had been preparing burnt to a crisp.
Rio stared dejectedly at the pot wondering what to do. Rio picked the pot up and scrapped the contents into the drain in the sink. This drain worked in the same way as the toilet did. If anything went into the hole it would be disintegrated instantly. That meant it didn't matter what went in, whether it was water food or even human body parts. There were no safety features which meant that it was something that you had to be very careful around when using it in order to not lose a part of your body.
"Sorry, I will make something else quickly... " Rio was inadvertently not making eye contact with Sora.
"Do you want me to help?" Sora asked. Sora herself was slightly embarrassed to. Sora thought back to what had happened and she could not help but blush a little. It was Sora's first time ever doing something like that with someone else.
"Ah... Um... If you would like to." Rio said as she bashfully looked up at Sora.
The two did not say much as they made breakfast together. Once it was done Sora set the table and Rio dished out the food onto the plates. Even while they ate they ate in silence. Rio would ever so often take a peek over at Sora but quickly averted her eyes as soon as Sora looked at her. Sora could only think that Rio was being very cute. Internally Sora was screaming this fact in her head. The silence was finally broken when Rio had finally mustered up the courage to speak.
"I-I will show you the workshop once we are done. It is where I keep all of my artifact findings." Rio said.
"Sounds like fun!" Sora was pretty excited about seeing the ancient relics of Cora's past.
With the way the ancients used transport devices as well as being able to cast magic, Sora was hoping to find things related to magic in Rio's workshop. Maybe even a clue on how to get home. The thought of going home was not especially strong for Sora. Sora did not want to leave Rio just yet. Sora wanted to get to know Rio as much as possible. Although Sora and Rio had already done something beyond just being friends. Sora was starting to develop real feelings for Rio as well. Those feelings were something that exceeded that of them just being friends. Sora decided if she did find a clue on how to get home. She would wait before actually going home until she figured how she truly felt for Rio.
After breakfast Rio had Sora follow her into the bedroom so that she could match up some work clothes to her. Rio was able to find a black t-shirt and a pair of cargo type shorts that would fit Sora. As soon as Rio handed Sora the clothes Sora immediately started to take the long t-shirt she was wearing off. Seeing this Rio froze stiff and stared at Sora's naked skin with her face flushed red.
"You going to get changed to or do you want me to help get changed?" Sora asked with a devilish grin on her face. Sora had noticed Rio staring and she could not help but to tease her just a little bit.
"I-I will go get changed in the bathroom..." Rio answered as she finally snapped back to her senses and made a quick exit out of the bedroom.
