Chapter Four : First Night - part 1
So as we all know our hero stuffed her fat ass with food and was given the title [Sora The Fat Ass]!
'Was it really necessary to start the chapter off with unneeded information. And just so everyone knows I can eat all I want and never gain weight! I am still just as cute as I was as the day I was born!'
Can't gain weight... Humph! So someone thinks highly of themselves. You even went as far as to call yourself cute. If cute means a round blob that weighs 270kg, then I think you need to look in a mirror.
'I do not weigh that much at all! I only weight 54kg! '
Fine, I did over exaggerate a little there.
'A little! You just tried to up my weight by more than 200!'
I can help you lose some weight if you would like. Through the loss of blood of course.
'P-P-Please put the bat down! Look I'm sorry for yell... '
*Whack*

See all is well now. Sorry for the delay let me continue our story.
"That was so good Rio! Though I think I ate too much... It was so good that I forgot that my stomach has a capacity limit." Sora said with a wry smile.
"I will get you some stomach medicine before I clean this up then." Rio said as she got up from her chair.
"Wait, Rio, I'll do the dishes. If you can just operate the panel for me I should be able to do them with no problems. I cannot just sit here and do nothing after you cooked such a wonderful meal. Better yet any or all of the household chores I'm willing to do. " Sora did not want to live in Rio's house for free while doing nothing in return. She wanted to at least do the housework for Rio.
"You don't have to do any of that. You are a guest here, I could not ask you to do such a thing." Rio was just about to walk out of the kitchen when Sora reached out and grabbed her hand, stopping her from leaving. Rio was surprised for a moment but then slightly blushed and looked over at Sora.
"Please let me do something, dishes, laundry, anything. I would not feel right staying here for free like this. A guest is someone who stays only a few days. But there is no telling when I will be able to find a way home. You are giving me a roof over my head and food in my stomach. There is no way I can just sit around and do nothing. So for as long as I am here, I want you to put me to work please." Sora had a serious expression on her face. It was an expression that said she was not taking no for an answer.
Rio sigh inwardly and stood there for a moment. She realized that Sora was probably going to be staying here for a long time. Rio had no issues with that either. In fact, secretly she would be very happy if Sora never moved out. Of course, Rio was not going to say that since it was too embarrassing.
"Fine, you win. After I get the medicine I will help you out with the panel so that you can do the dishes. I would feel bad if you did all the housework though, so we will be splitting them up between us. I did not invite you to live here to turn you into my slave." Sora's face lit up after Rio agreed. Sora was just happy that she was able to repay Rio for her kindness. Even if it was only by a little bit.
"Thanks, Rio!" Sora's smile made Rio's chest tighten a little. The pit of warmness she had felt earlier was welling up within her yet again.
After Rio returned with some medicine for Sora's stomach ache. Rio watched as Sora took the medicine. Rio's eyes drifted towards the bandages that she had put on Sora. It reminded Rio that Sora was covered with wind and sand burns from their trip across the desert. The ointment that she had applied to the wounds was specially made by her race the Lafinas. Rio knew that it worked wonders for her people but she also knew it was less effective on other races.
Rio was curious about the effectiveness the ointment would have on someone from a different world. This train of thought led her to a dire realization. What if the medicines from Cora were harmful to Sora. Rio's faced paled. Not only did she apply ointment to Sora's open wounds but she also just had her take a stomach medicine on top of it all. Rio also knew that Sora would not say anything if she was still in any pain or discomfort. So Rio wouldn't even know if anything was wrong until it was too late.
"Hey, Sora how do you feel? You don't feel any sick or anything do you?" Rio's expression was filled with worry. She really had hoped she did not just do something horrible to Sora.
"Hmm? I'm feeling fine besides my stomach, which now that you mention it is actually feeling a lot better! This medicine works really well! " Sora was quite surprised at how well the medicine was working. It seemed to be working better than anything she had taken on Earth.
"That's good... I was worried that the medicines here on Cora would have some kind of adverse effect on someone from a different world. I'm sorry for not thinking of that earlier before I went and just gave you the medicine. Please let me know right away if you experience any kind of pain or discomfort. " Rio let out a sigh of relief. She then gave a small apologetic bow.
"No, no, it's fine. If anything did happen it would be on the both of us anyways. I mean I did take it without hesitation. So responsibility would be fifty, fifty!" Sora gently grabbed Rios shoulders with both hands and smiled.
"And even if I did get sick from the medicine. From what I know of you so far. I know you would do whatever you could to help me. So if I feel sick in any way I will tell you immediately. " Rio slowly lifted her head and met her eyes with Sora's.
