Chapter 65: A Present For The Cards!: To Corrode And Disintegrate!
Okay, so about another week or so had now passed. Which was just about how long it had been, since me and Sakura had gone and transformed the Freeze Card into yet another Star Card. And this had also been how long since me and Sakura, had both had to use the Freeze Card, in order to help us destroy quite a few of the penguin statues, that had been stationed in and around the large penguin slide inside of Penguin Park. Because as it would happen, me, Sakura, Li, and Kero, had once again sensed the presence of Clow Reed. And as it just so happened, Meilin had returned from Hong Kong only about a day or so before. But mind you Meilin's return, for the current moment at least, was temporary. But as Meilin had also wound up getting caught up in me, Sakura, Li, and Kero's predicament the multiple penguin statutes in Penguin Park. It was really a classic case of being just like old times. But as fate would have it, this wasn't the first time that Meilin had wound up caught up in me and Sakura's magic induced situations. And as it would happen, this wasn't going to wind up being the last either.
But as it would happen, as with regard to the current moment, this wasn't exactly on either me or Sakura's mind. Because well, as with regard to me and Sakura's current situation...
"Well this is just great! How on earth do fence bars just suddenly wind up coming to life from out of nowhere?!" I had proceeded to shout out in a very clearly fearful sounding tone. Which was just as I had proceeded to just barely dodge out of the way of the aforementioned fence bars. Which for reasons currently not known, had somehow proceeded to come to life. And to make matters just a bit more dangerous, along with me and Sakura being involved, Li was also caught up in this current situation as well. And then...
"Zachary, you and Sakura need to..." Li then wound up shouting from just a couple of feet over to my right. But not surprisingly I was quick to interject before Li could finish his statement over to me. And given what he was about to attempt to try and say to me and Sakura, this was something that I felt needed to be done. And as for me and what my response back over to Li was, as I proceeded to go and cut him off midway through his statement over to me and Sakura? Well you see, about that...
"You know full well Li, that me and Sakura aren't just going to simply abandon you! I mean to be fair viewers, and yes this is Zachary here. It's not like me and Sakura could do otherwise even if we wanted to. Oh, and for those of you viewers who were at all wondering as to how me and Sakura were able to get into this situation without alerting Tori? Well viewer, that is because me and Sakura wound up making quick use of the Mirror Card spirit, to make duplicate clones of each of us. I just hope that the Mirror Card can keep up standing in for both me and Sakura without Tori finding out. Now then viewers, I think that this is more then enough thought based fourth wall breaking from me for the current moment. Now then, lets now back to the current situation at hand, shall we?"I proceeded to at first say the first part of my statement over to Li. Which during while I had been doing the thought based part, I had proceeded to go and briefly turn my attention slightly over to my right, in order for me to briefly address the viewers.
And thankfully, since me and Sakura already had our respective Star staffs in hand. I then proceeded to quickly pull out the Mist Card. And this was due to an idea that had just come to my mind for me and Sakura to use the Mist Card, to corrode the possessed fence bars, and effectively disintegrate them. As both me and Sakura already knew, that the Mist Card was able to quickly corrode whatever metal it came into contact with. And thankfully, just like when me and Sakura had transformed the Freeze Card last week. I wasn't going to need to say anything to Sakura. Because upon me proceeding to pull out the Mist Card, Sakura had was once again able to quickly catch on to my idea. And so without either of us having to exchange words between one another.
And once I had proceeded to throw the Mist Card up into the air, me and Sakura both then raised our respective Star staffs. "We call upon the power of our stars, ancient forces near and far, Mist Card discard your former might, and draw your power from our might, Star Card!" Me and Sakura both proceeded to chant together in unison. Which as the wings on each of our Star staffs proceeded to expand and grow outwards a little bit. This then prompted the Mist Card to stop spinning, which was then quickly followed by the new design to show up on both the front and the back of it. Which was blue on one side, and pink on the other. And as the Mist Card spirit appeared, and quickly proceeded to quickly take its usual form of a green mist. Which upon me and Sakura then proceeding to witness the possessed fence bars try to go after and attack Li. And upon both me and Sakura proceeding to leap in front of Li, we just managed to use the Mist Card, to corrode the fence bars, and thus disintegrate and destroy them.
And it was only then, that I then wound up breathing out a sigh of relief. Knowing that once again, me and Sakura had managed to not only get ourselves out of yet another perilous situation. But we had both now been able to transform yet another Clow Card, into a Star Card. And that as it currently stood, was good enough for me.
