1.Encounter with a ninja②
After school that day, Rintaro returned home with Kenji as promised.
He was so reluctant to go home with a man, so he asked Yu, the girl he was picking up this morning, to come with him.
Then, they walked toward the vacant house next to Kenji's house.
"Oh, it's still annoying. I want to finish it early and go home," Rintaro said boringly.
Yu stared at Rintaro.
"Help him anyway"
When Yu told me, Rintaro couldn't say anything back. He looked back from time to time, but there were no signs of anyone following him. So he felt he wasted his time. After that, they walked without a topic for a while, but Rintaro remembered and asked Kenji.
"Do you know Furuyama Keshiki?"
"What, suddenly"
Kenji was surprised to hear from Rintaro.
"Answer it"
Rintaro said and Kenji started talking in a hurry.
"I know her. She's in the class next to her," said Kenji.
"What kind of woman is she?"
Kenji silently thought about Rintaro's question.
"Long black hair, fair and tall beauty," Kenji tweeted.
Immediately after that, Rintaro's face became brighter. From his boring face, he suddenly seemed to have fun in the opposite direction.
"Oh, but her personality is terrible. She's cold and unfriendly, and she always makes me stupid."
Kenji was frightened, remembering her. However, Rintaro was still bright.
"No worries. It's not strange to make you stupid. In fact, I'm making you stupid too."
Rintaro cheerfully hit Kenji's shoulder, but Kenji was terribly depressed.
"But why are you looking for her? You don't know her, right?"
As they left the main street with the school and walked through the residential area, Yu asked Rintaro, as he remembered.
"Oh, we don't know each other, but I'd like to thank her."
Rintaro said with an unprecedentedly serious look. Yu wanted to hear more, but when she saw his expression he found it difficult to ask.
"Now we have arrived."
Kenji pointed to the house in front of him.
Rintaro and his friends looked at the tip of their finger. There was a mediocre house there.
To Rintaro, it didn't look like a vacant house. The shutters were open and there was a curtain in the window. The vegetation in the garden is well maintained and cut short.
"Isn't there a normal person living here?" Rintaro said.
"Yes, of course. This is my house," Kenji said.
"Are you stupid? We have nothing to do with your house."
Kenji was depressed again as Rintaro said coldly.
"Oh, probably that house."
Yu pointed to the house to the right of Kenji's house.
Certainly this house didn't seem to live. Even though it was still evening, all the shutters were closed and there was no nameplate. And the grass in the garden was growing. Rintaro walked to the front of the house. Yu and Kenji followed after that.
"How do we get into it?" Rintaro asked.
"The front door key is broken, so we can enter from there."
As Kenji said, turning the doorknob at the entrance opened the door. Rintaro wants to go home early, so he opens the door vigorously.
They could see a straight corridor from the front door. The inside of the house was very dim and dusty. They can't walk there without the light of the sun coming in from the front door.
"Hey! Is there anyone!" Rintaro shouted.
"Stop it for a moment, Rintaro-kun. I'm scared," Yu said.
"That's right. If there was a ghost, it might curse us."
"There is no ghost. I want to catch the suspicious person early and go home to sleep," Rintaro said in a loud voice again. He walked down the corridor with his feet on.
"Rintaro! You have to take off your shoes at the front door," Kenji said, but Rintaro continued walking.
"No one lives and there is so much dust so I walk with my shoes on."
Kenji and Yu were in trouble, but in the end they also walked down the corridor with their shoes on.
Rintaro opened the door that was closest to him. They couldn't see it well because the light from the front door didn't reach. However, it seemed like a Japanese-style room. It has tatami mats, but no furniture. Of course, no one was there. Rintaro opened several other corridor doors, but all the rooms seemed to be dusty and empty.
"Look, there's no one," Rintaro said with a sigh.
"It's strange. I can't hear the noise that I always hear," Kenji said strangely.
Rintaro opened the innermost room in the corridor, and they entered it. It's a living room. It's still dim and hard to see, but it looks like a large room with an open kitchen.
"I wasted my time," Rintaro was frustrated. Of course, the room was unfurnished and nobody was there. He was sick of dust and musty.
"Lastly, I'll look at the back of the kitchen," said Kenji. Rintaro thought that he could finally return, and tried to go through the door leading to the corridor. At that time, Kenji shouted in a loud voice. At the same time, there was a loud noise of something colliding. Rintaro and Yu turned around and looked at the kitchen. There, Kenji hit the wall from his back and fell down.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Rintaro was surprised and headed for him. Immediately this time Yu shouted.
"What !?" Rintaro looked at her, and she pointed at the kitchen and trembled. Rintaro hurriedly looked in that direction. And he was also stunned. Someone was crawl on all fours on the kitchen table. But it is invisible to humans. The whole body was dark gray, with thin, long limbs and a tongue longer than its face. Due to its long, unkempt black hair, its eyes are invisible to Rintaro and his friends. Rintaro was afraid of his horrifying appearance and couldn't move.
