[SIDE B] DAY 5 – PRESENT & FUTURE (5)
“A very small cause which escapes our notice determines a considerable effect that we cannot fail to see and then we say the effect is due to change. If we knew exactly the laws of nature and a consequence of the dimension at the initial moment. We could predict exactly the consequence of that same dimension at a succeeding moment. But even if it was the case, the natural laws no longer have any secret to us. We could still only know the initial consequence. If that enables us to predict the succeeding consequence, with the same approximation. That is all we require and we shall say that the phenomenon has been predicted, that it is governed by laws of nature. But it is not always so it may happen that small differences in the initial conditions produce very great ones in the final phenomenon. A small error in the former will produce an enormous error in the latter. Prediction becomes impossible and we have the fortuitous phenomenon.”
The situation was tense. Shirio had tried to attack, but most of it was not successful. It did not even make a scratch on that little girl’s clothing. Shirio stepped back and regrouped her thoughts. She knew that she would not be able to dispose of that little girl by herself. Furthermore, she needed help to reclaim the package. Such that she could maintain her delivery schedule on time.
Suddenly, a loud explosive noise could be heard from the back of the chapel. Clearly, somebody had arrived through the collapsed wall.
“Uriel, kill her now!”
“Yes, madam.”
Shirio glanced down at Yoshi and said.
“Let’s go. We are running out of time.”
She snatched Yoshi and carried him under her arm, then they left the scene through a dimension portal. The little girl had tried to stop Shirio. However, she failed. It was because Uriel had blocked her way and also sought out a fight. She glanced at Uriel and said.
“Tch, that’s annoying.”
Uriel, the fourth member from the special operations of the Secret Societies’ GoD also known as the Seven Holy Angels. In general, each member from the Seven Holy Angels was genetically built by a special kind of genes. These genes might be extracted from the Ancients or even Nephilim. Uriel was short and chubby with dark skin, he had a focused feel about him. He had beady light blue eyes and his hip length, thick, brown hair is pulled into a bun. He wore scruffy, old fashioned gentlemen clothing that were well-fitting.
Uriel glanced down at that little girl and he took out a grimoire from his inner pocket. That little girl examined it closely and said,
“I see… You got the Book of Soyga.”
He gave a smile.
“Lovely… You did know it.”
The little girl replied with a half-smile.
“Of course, I have lived beyond your own existence.”
He laughed it off.
“Really?! Little girl… So, choose your weapon.”
“I don’t need any.”
“Blasphemy!”
The little girl grimaced.
“Please, don’t get me wrong. I don’t have any on me now. But, I did believe… It isn’t necessary for your magic.”
Uriel glowered.
“Argh!”
Uriel started to chant a sequence of unmetrical words. But, towards the end of his chant. Several understandable words had shouted out loud and clear.
“Tabula Vigesima Prima… Sagittarius!”
Hence, a half human and half horse creature with a bow and arrow had been summoned by Uriel. But, that little girl rolled her eyes and said,
“Oh, this isn’t too obvious?!”
Uriel gave a half smile and replied.
“Little brat, let’s see what you make of… Sagittarius! Tier tenth Magic Arrows…”
Meanwhile, a rain of arrows had appeared above the sky. It was pouring downwards onto the chapel. Likely, it wanted to destroy everything within its path. The little girl had sensed the danger out of it. She was trying to dash away from ground zero. Unfortunately, her current physical form would not be able to allow such a move.
Suddenly, a lady who dressed in a French maid uniform with a blue collar on her neck had suddenly appeared in front of the little girl. The little girl glanced at the French maid, while she got carried by the French maid. Both of them had escaped from the chapel.
The little girl glowered at the French maid.
“Put me down, I will beat him.”
The French maid went poker-faced and replied.
“In your current condition. You should retreat. Especially, without the Pandora Box.”
The little girl pouted up.
“At least, don’t carry me under your armpit!”
The French maid glanced over her.
“My lady wants to speak with you.”
The little girl gave her a dirty look.
“I have nothing to say to her before, now or even in the future.”
The French maid raised an eyebrow.
“My lady only wants answers. Questions that only you could be able to answer.”
The little girl pondered for a while.
“Lucifer, how did you find me?”
Lucifer’s face went blank.
“The tide had changed once again. The whole situation is out of control now. Our lady had given us an order before she was fully sealed up.”
“What is the order?”
“An order to search and find you before everything tilted to the other side.”
“I don’t see how Ms. Fateful would lose to anyone.”
Several minutes later, both of them had arrived at a remote location. Lucifer put down the little girl while a teleport portal appeared in front of them.
Lucifer curtsied and said.
“Our lady awaits you on the other side… Ms. Graceful.”
Ms. Graceful went through the portal with Lucifer.

I was kidnaped by Shirio. She was carrying me under her arm, when we left the chapel. As a selfish and naive human being, I was trying to talk some sense into Shirio's mind.
“Shirio, please let me go... I have nothing to do with you guys...”
It seemed Shirio did not respond. So, I started begging for my life.
“I know you aren't evil... Shirio, please… Shirio, please… Help me, please. I don’t want to die.”
A few minutes later, we arrived at an open remote area. She put me down on the ground. I stood up and glanced over the surroundings. Meanwhile, she looked at me quietly.
Shirio constantly twirled her hair and tucked it behind her ear. Then, she tilted her head to one side and said,
“Yoshi, you know what… Weakness is a sin… Without any inner spiritual meanings, being human is also a sin… That’s why humans need spiritual beliefs or faith from certain sources.”
Strangely, I did not run and I started to notice my lashes fluttering.
“I don’t understand what you are talking about and I’m an agnostic.”
She licked her lips.
“No, no, no, you are just an atheist to me.”
I lowered my head and she continued.
“Yoshi, you are just shut out of society. A human without a real life that doesn’t have a meaning at all.”
I shut my eyes for a moment.
“I had tried very hard to be a normal human. I want to be a functioning member of society. But, the people of society are scary. Nowadays, nobody wants to take any social responsibility. People just follow what they desire – more income, less workload with a luxury lifestyle. If they cannot get what they want, then they will screw up others. They are pleased with others’ misfortune...”
Shirio nodded heavily.
“Schadenfreude is a part of human lifestyle. There’s why it’s time for the uprising from within. With the powers from the Nephilim, you can eliminate anyone you dislike and create a whole new world for mankind. Imagine it, a new world without any dehumanization, tyrannical governments, and even environmental disaster.”
My forehead puckered.
“It sounds very convincing. However, why me?”
Her eyes sparkled.
“You are born with a gift. That’s why it is your destiny. In order to fulfill the destiny, simply just follow our instructions and you will become the ruler of this newfound utopia.”
“But, you are trying to kill me.”
Her eyes glistened.
“Killing you is only a part of the ritual in order to awaken your gift. Afterwards, you will become immortal. No more pain; no more sickness.”
Her tears ran down her cheeks.
“Please, Yoshi-sama… I’m deeply sorry about everything. I know I messed up everything earlier. But, for this time please trust me…”
I pondered for a moment.
“I’m still not that sure to trust you again.”
Shirio was hugging me intimately.
“Maybe, after you had met him. He would answer all of your questions.”
My eyes widened.
“Huh? Are we expecting someone?”
She nodded.
“Yes, someone very important to you.”
Meanwhile, a group of people were walking towards my location. I saw a man from this group waving at us.
Then, Shirio waved back and said,
“Over here, Professor Azrael!”
Once, that man came closer to me. I noticed he had silver, flowing hair slightly revealed furrowed, with a tense face. Dead green eyes, set concealed within their sockets. Freckles were spread elegantly across his cheeks and had left an amusing memory of his fortunate looks. There was something puzzling about him, perhaps it was a feeling of delight or perhaps it was simply his composure.
I turned to him and said.
“You are Professor Azrael?!”
Yet, in his eyes lurked an entrancing gleam of deviltry.
“Nice to meet you, Yoshi-sama.”
