[SIDE B] DAY 5 – PRESENT & FUTURE (1)

01:30

Devil’s Triangle

Floating City of Atlantics

Mansion of Ms-nht

All of the members from FuuRinKaInZanRai had gathered inside the meeting room. A minute later, Ms. Wheel of Fortune and Deadly Seven had also entered the room. When, Ms. Wheel of Fortune had noticed Doctor Mistfang was standing at the corner of the meeting room. She turned to him and asked.

“How much time did we have till the first encounter?”

Doctor Mistfang pondered for a moment, then replied.

“My lady, my rough estimation would be around four hours…”

Ms. Wheel of Fortune looked heavenward.

“So, they are back again.”

Doctor Mistfang took a step forward and continued.

“I believe their target was the Humans…”

He paused for a second and then glanced around his surroundings.

“Back then, the Watchers were winning. But up until, One God had made that discussion… No matter what, the war between Watchers and Humans was always there… Therefore, we shouldn’t get involved.”

Then, Mr. Death raised his hands and said,

“Agree… We shouldn’t get involved. Especially, the war is always about… the Dead versus the Living…”

All of the members from FuuRinKaInZanRai nodded in agreement. Meanwhile, Ms. Wheel of Fortune stood up and said.

“It seems everyone has reached an agreement. But, I would like to remind every one of you that. The Watchers have also been our enemy since the First Millennium War… As the Keepers of Seven Dimensions, we cannot simply just ignore the Watchers.”

Mr. Death rolled his eyes and replied.

“We understand your concern. But, at this moment. We should wait.”

Ms. Wheel of Fortune narrowed her eyes.

“Tch, are you sure?”

Meanwhile, Doctor Mistfang tried to remedy the situation.

“Please allow me to say.”

Everyone inside the meeting room nodded, then Doctor Mistfang continued.

“First, the Watchers’ main target is the Humans. Secondly, some members from Killer Incorporation are still helping the Humans. Third, it is unwise for us to take on both battles at the same time. The solution would be we should keep an eye on their next move.”

Ms. Wheel of Fortune was pondering for a while. Then, she turned to Lucifer and the other maids.

“Deadly Seven, follow me.”

Doctor Mistfang and FuuRinKaInZanRai were puzzled at this moment. Meanwhile, Ms. Wheel of Fortune was walking towards the meeting room’s door. Then, she glanced over the shoulder and said.

“Personally, I’m heading towards the ruins of Last Tower now. I need to find their bodies and I want to make sure that they are dead.”

Once, Ms. Wheel of Fortune had left the meeting room. Then, Mr. Death turned to others and said.

“It seems Ms. WF is taking things personally… I guess we should do something, before she jeopardizes the whole operation.”

The Twins nodded vigorously, while Mr. Hermit had spoken up.

“Mr. Death, I have a suggestion.”

“Please go ahead.”

“Seal her off first and then we seek out advice from our master.”

“Umm… This would be a good idea… Since, our master doesn’t tolerate any failure.”

Mr. Death turned to Mr. Juggler and said.

“What about you, Mr. Juggler?”

“Of course, I have no objection. After all, FuuRinKaInZanRai is the personal guard of the Ancients’ Emperor.”

Mr. Death stood up with an evil smile on his face.

“Hmm, we’ll seal her off…”

01:59

Southern Region

Dimension Gap (Gate of Hells)

A flying vessel had set sail via the Dimension Gap. Once, she landed in the Southern Region of the main continent. The Watchers had established their settlement. They named this frontline stronghold as the Gate of Hells.

A huge shadowy figure with ten horns on its helm was at the bridge of the flying vessel. It was talking to another shadowy figure who was standing behind with a Kitsune mask. The huge shadowy figure had spoken with a husky male voice.

“Gabriel, you know what… I’m so excited… My blood was boiling while I was onboard.”

The shadowy figure who was standing behind had replied with a toneless female voice.

“Uh huh… So?”

“Don’t be so carefree… It is time for revenge.”

“Raphael, I know… But, don’t you think… It won’t be fun at all.”

“What do you mean?”

“The Living could never win.”

“Oh well, but who knows what will happen this time.”

“Umm, that’s true… One God is always unpredictable.”

“But, at least. They aren’t around this time.”

“You mean the Keepers?”

“Yay, their unity is always questionable.”

“Umm… So, are we going after the Keepers too?”

“Not right now… But, very soon. We’ll face the Keepers once again and finish up what we left off from the First Millennium War.”

“Umm… Then, what now?”

“Let’s send out our scouts first and let them gather more intelligence. I would like to know, are the Living still carrying the New-type in the bloodline.”

“Oh well, when that’s a mad scientist among the Living. Then, for sure they’ll harvest those New-type abilities.”

“Tch, and that’s why I hate One God… Why help the Living?”

“Maybe, this’s One God’s version of fairness.”

“That made me sick… One God should know that we suffer and sacrifice our previous lives in order to possess those New-type abilities... For the Living, they are just lucky. And they never use those abilities in the term of good governance. They only follow their best interests.”

“That’s true... Technically, we were Humans, once. But, after the First Millennium War... We are categorized as the Dead…”

“We are also the Watchers for the Living… But, they never follow our guardianship. They always invent something on their own, which will lead to their own extinction.”

“Ironically, we had been also categorized as Angels & Demons within the Records of Ancients.”

“Oh, I also hate that Ancients’ Prophet, too.”

“Never mind, we are here to wipe out the Living and reset the whole thing once again.”

The huge shadowy figure glanced down from the bridge and said.

“Down there at the landing area, we had ten thousand soldiers from the First, Second and Third Circle. We will destroy our first target within several minutes. This will be our first warning to every human being in this dimension.”

“Umm… Maybe…”

“You better speak up now. You know our master doesn’t tolerate any failure.”

“My seventh sense had warned me… About this parallel world…”

“Uh huh… Eh, like what?”

“Umm… Nothing… Maybe I overreacted. However, we should get more information first.”

“Then, we will launch our first wave of attack at dawn.”

02:11

Eastern Region

Victory Harbor City

World Federation’s Headquarter (Meeting Room)

One of the World Federation’s strategic analysts was standing up front near the projection of a map. Then, he pointed to a location within the Southern Region and said.

“According to our intelligence report, Angels & Demons had established their stronghold in the Southern Region. We believe they’ll launch their assault to the nearest city within a few hours.”

Then, he switched the focus to another location that was near a river bank. It was a city and its name was Aurora.

Suddenly, the general from the army division had spoken up.

“Aurora! That is nonsense. We cannot simply just go over there. I think everyone here knows that Aurora is controlled by the Secret Societies.”

The admiral from the navy division had also spoken.

“Since Day One, the Secret Societies have had their own agenda.”

The strategic analyst looked around. It seemed he was searching for someone. A minute later, he spotted a person who was standing at the back of the meeting room.

“Ah, you are there. I think it is the time to let these people know what we got from our intelligence agency.”

That person nodded in agreement, then the strategic analyst changed the projection. Once, a new image had been projected. Everyone inside the meeting room started to panic. Although the meeting room was filled with deafening silence. However, there were so many questions inside their mind.

“WHAT? Impossible, that was a rumor, right? Oh my god, is that real? GoD?!”

The strategic analyst took a breather. Then, he looked at the projection and said,

“Please… Let me explain it to all of you. What you see is the truth. Since World War II, Secret Societies had been researching biotechnology and successfully cloned human beings with DNA methylation. They called this project GoD (Grimm of DNA). Three months ago, our intelligence agency had gathered some solid evidence that proved Project GoD could be able to reprogram human beings’ DNA. That means…”

The general from the army division shouted.

“Mutation!”

The strategic analyst glanced at him.

“Umm… Actually, it should be called Superhuman.”

“Whatever... We only want to know what they are capable of?”

“Unfortunately, we don’t have that kind of information on hand. But, if Angels & Demons are attacking Aurora. Then, we will be able to find out those Superhuman abilities.”

The admiral from the navy division narrowed his eyes.

“So, what you are trying to say is – we should leave Aurora alone and wait to see will Secret Societies take out their trump card?”

The strategic analyst smiled.

“Correct.”

The general from the army division shouted once again.

“Are you insane? Those are human beings… People are living in Aurora.”

The strategic analyst turned to him and said.

“To be honest, could we save them? I only know one thing, which is without the help from those Ancients… All of us are dead by now, and also our technologies are totally irrelevant compared to the others… All of the sudden, those Angels & Demons had appeared on our door step… Seriously, in order to survive. We should let Secret Societies handle it… At least they had those Superhuman and we had nothing at all.”

The atmosphere within the meeting room had changed immediately. After a while of dead silence, the strategic analyst glanced around. He gave a smile and said.

“Great! Everyone had the same consent from now on. Therefore, we will let Secret Societies deal with those newcomers. Definitely, we will kill two birds with one stone.”

02:30

Southern Region

Aurora’s Town Hall

There were two human beings who were walking down the corridor. An elderly man was talking with a cracked voice.

“Professor, are we gonna be alright?”

The other person with a lifeless voice replied.

“Mr. Mayor, of course, we will be fine. Trust me, we had prepared this for decades. All of my previous experiments would not go in vain.”

“I understand. But, I’m thinking… This is kind of… Dangerous.”

“Mr. Mayor, please don’t be in trouble. From now on, Secret Societies will take care of this.”

“But, should we contact the headquarter first? You know, the enemies are immortal.”

“Oh really? Are they really immortal? I always want to know its answer.”

“Eh?”

“Let’s find out the answer now…”

Both of them had stopped in front of the main hall entrance. A while later, the doors opened from inside. They slowly entered the hall, and then the elderly man immediately glanced around the surroundings. He had noticed there was a group of people, which were sitting by a meeting table.

“Professor, what is going on? Who are they?”

“Mr. Mayor, from now on I’ll take over.”

“What does that mean?”

Suddenly, a man from the group stood up and said,

“Goodbye! You, lower life form.”

Then, he waved at the elderly man. Afterwards, that elderly man had dropped dead onto the floor. The man with a lifeless voice glanced over the dead body and then he turned to the group of people and said.

“Muhaha… That was fast… You guys were early.”

“Oh, well… Doctor, we are just right on time. By the way, are you certain that data is updated?”

“Hey guys, I'm a hundred percent certain. The Dimension Gap has opened and they are coming through. Umm, they would arrive within an hour or so.”

“Oh well, who’s leading the invasion?”

“Probably, Gabriel. Since, she is always the Ancient Emperor’s favorite disciple.”

“Oh well, that’s good news for us.”

“Definitely, we had waited for four thousand years. And now, revenge will be ours. Muhaha…”

“Oh well, we can’t say this is our revenge. Actually, after the Omega War. They got exiled and we got abandoned. So, technically we are all outlaws…”

“Hmm, this was only a bad joke from One God. Especially, right after the creation of the Living.”

“Oh well, the Living shouldn’t be created at all. It’s just a waste of time and resources. No matter what, at the end. All of the Living would become the Dead. I don’t know why those stupid people don't realize that.”

“They are just blind sighted on their current issues, and that’s why they are so easy to manipulate.”

“But, seriously, nobody cares. We will crush them and then rule over the Dead once again.”

“Yes, you are always right… Doctor... Zadkiel.”

“Thank you… Professor… Azrael.”

Both men turned to the group.

“Let’s get started moving. Shall we?”
