Information
According to information gathered from the people of Emerald City, the “Forgotten Temple” lies deep within the dense forest stretching west of the city, a place that has long been known as the dwelling place of spirits. The path to the temple is said to be treacherous, with various dangers lying in wait.
Carrying the Harp of Atlantis, the Seed of Hope, and the scrolls containing the records of ancient civilizations, I leave Emerald City behind. As I pass through the city gates, a dense forest spreads out before me. The sunlight is blocked by the leaves of the trees, leaving the forest dim and filled with a cool, crisp air.
I step into the forest. Fallen leaves cover the ground, rustling with every step I take. Through the trees, I can hear the calls of various birds and sense the presence of animals. I proceed cautiously, keeping a close watch on my surroundings.
After walking for a while, the path gradually becomes more rugged. Jagged rocks protrude from the ground, and tree roots are intricately intertwined. Using my crystal staff as a walking stick, I carefully make my way up the rocky terrain.
As I venture deeper into the forest, the surrounding scenery becomes increasingly mysterious. Giant trees block out the sky, and the ground is overgrown with rare plants I’ve never seen before. The air is humid, and the scent of plants drifts strongly through the air.
Suddenly, I sense a presence and stop in my tracks. As I look around, a tiny fairy emerges from the shadows of the trees. The fairy gazes at me and speaks in a soft voice. “Traveler, where are you headed?”
I reply to the fairy. “I am searching for the Forgotten Temple. The Crystal of Harmony should be there.”
The fairy looks slightly surprised and says to me, “The Crystal of Harmony… That is a crystal with special powers that slumbers within the spirits’ sanctuary. However, getting there is no easy task. The spirits guarding the temple are wary of humans. If you attempt to enter the temple, you must undergo the spirits’ trials.”
I asked the fairy, “What kind of trials do the spirits set?”
The fairy replied, “They will test your heart and your wisdom. If you can overcome these trials, the spirits will guide you to the temple.”
I steeled myself and said to the fairy, “I will face the trials. With the spirits’ help, I want to find the Crystal of Harmony.”
The fairy smiled and said to me, “Very well. Then please follow me. I’ll guide you to the spirits’ sanctuary.” The fairy fluttered away and began to lead the way. I followed the fairy, venturing deeper and deeper into the forest. My adventure was about to face a new trial.
