The Room
Returning to my room, I can see the entire City of Winds spread out before me through the window. Countless wind spirits dance in the sky, and the buildings float gracefully in the air, held aloft by wind magic. Once again, I am captivated by the beauty of the City of Winds.
Sitting down on the bed, I open the scroll bestowed upon me by the Wind King. Written in ancient script, the scroll details extensive knowledge of wind magic. As I read on, I am astonished by the profound depth of wind magic. I come to understand that wind is not merely a natural phenomenon, but the very source of life and the energy of the universe itself.
Upon finishing the scroll, a new question arises in my mind. Where exactly did wind magic come from? And what must I do to master wind magic? I decide to pose these questions to Elder Eldrich.
I visit the Elder once more and ask him about the scroll. “Elder, reading this scroll has given me a deep understanding of wind magic. However, new questions have arisen. Where exactly did wind magic come from? And what must I do to master it?”
The Elder answers my question quietly. “Wind magic is a power bestowed by the ancient God of Wind. When the God of Wind created this world, he granted the power of the wind to the people. To master wind magic, you must inherit the power of the God of Wind.”
Hearing the name of the God of Wind, I cannot hide my surprise. “The God of Wind… what kind of being is that?”
The elder gazed into the distance and began to speak. “Among the gods who created this world, the Wind God is the most capricious and free-spirited. The Wind God is always seeking new places and new thrills. The Wind God is also a being who gives people trials to encourage their growth.”
Hearing the elder’s words, I became fascinated by the Wind God. I want to meet the God of the Wind and learn the true essence of wind magic. I ask the elder how to meet the God of the Wind. “Elder, what must I do to meet the God of the Wind?”
The elder thinks for a moment before answering. “To meet the God of the Wind, you must visit the sacred site where the God of the Wind sleeps. However, no one knows where the God of the Wind’s sacred site is in this world. According to legend, it is said that the Wind God’s sacred site can only be reached through the guidance of the Wind Spirit.”
I find hope in the words “guidance of the Wind Spirit.” I resolve to connect with the Wind Spirit and ask it to lead me to the Wind God’s sacred site. I thank the Elder and return to my room.
Once back in my room, I take out the Wind Spirit’s conch shell. The Wind Spirit’s conch shell is a tool for communicating with the Wind Spirit that I obtained in the City of Winds. I gently blow into the Wind Spirit’s conch shell.
Then, a gentle light emanates from the Wind Spirit’s conch shell and envelops my body. I hear the voice of the Wind Spirit. “Mitamu, we know your wish. We shall guide you to the sacred site of the Wind God.”
Hearing the voice of the Wind Spirit, I feel joy. I resolve to follow the Wind Spirit’s guidance and set out on a journey toward the sacred site of the Wind God. As dawn breaks, I leave the City of Winds behind. With the Wind Spirit’s Conch in hand, I step into the unknown.
