File8. Real meaning of “NEHAN=Nirvana”
Generally “NEHAN=Nirvana” is translated as the extremely highly enlightened status. Buddhism explains that there are two types of Nirvana, one is Real Nirvana and another is Temporary Nirvana. Real Nirvana is the complete “Nothing”. No body, no identity, no individual, therefore no existence. It was regarded as the ideal enlightenment. On the other hand, Temporary Nirvana is the status all senses are completely shut down with remaining bodies. Details of this status are already explained in File2 as “Life is Virtual Reality”. Enlightening whole life is virtual reality, it is the very “Nirvana”.
Though the Real Nirvana is the best status, to reach such status people should lose their bodies namely “die”. Therefore Buddhism had brought convenient substitution “Temporary Nirvana”. Buddha taught people could reach Temporary Nirvana through efforts. But it seems very strange explanation. Is there any other more concrete and understandable explanation? Yes, we can find it in Particle Physics.
Real Nirvana is “True Vacuum” after completion of total pair annihilation. In such world there would be no matters, no antimatters, and only tiny fluctuation of energy would be observed. Then how can we explain Temporary Nirvana in Physical terms? It is “Absolute Zero Point”. Original meaning of Nirvana is “Blowing out fires completely” namely “Very cold”. In Physics absolute zero point is minus 273 degree Celsius. At this point all thermal vibration of atoms are stopped excluding the zero point motion of Uncertainty Principle. Atoms completely stop their motion and cannot be bonded with other atoms. Therefore atoms can temporarily escape from the chain of Reincarnation.
As I already explained, Buddhism will save not only humans but all other things including even nonorganic matters, namely “DAIJYO=Big Ship”. The concept of “Nirvana” tells us that Buddhism is not a simple religion but highly sophisticated Physics.
