Another morning begins like every other day. Smiles, greetings, and normal conversations hide the tension waiting inside the classroo.
The next morning arrived.
Sota walked toward school again with the same gentle smile.
"Good morning," he greeted the guard.
"Morning, Kobayashi."
Teachers nodded at him in the hallway.
"Good morning."
"Morning, sir."
Everything looked normal.
Everything looked peaceful.
But the moment Sota opened the classroom door, the smile disappeared again.
The room was strangely quiet.
All eyes turned toward him.
Tanaka Honju slowly stood up.
A cold smile appeared on his face.
"There he is."
Sota felt a strange tension in the air.
He quietly walked toward his desk.
Suddenly someone shouted.
"That's him!"
Ryota slammed his hand on the desk.
"He stole our money!"
Sota froze.
"What?"
Daichi stepped forward.
"My wallet was missing yesterday."
Kenji crossed his arms.
"And mine too."
Takeshi pointed directly at Sota.
"You were the only one near our bags."
Haru laughed softly.
"Looks like the quiet kid is a thief."
Students around the classroom began whispering.
"Did he really steal?"
"I did not expect that."
Sota felt dozens of eyes staring at him.
His chest tightened.
"I did not steal anything," he said quietly.
Tanaka walked closer.
His shadow covered Sota's desk.
"Then prove it."
The classroom slowly surrounded him.
Sota stood in the center.
Alone.
And for the first time, sometthing dark flickered deep inside his eyes.
But no one noticed.
Not yet.
False accusations push Sota further into isolation. Something dark begins awakening quietly him, unnoticed by everyone surrounding him.
