SETTING

DESCRIPTION
Our main character is a fresh out of college student entering the world of the adults with his first corporate job. His eyes are filled with ambition and new wonderful world awaits him, or . . . so he thought . . . . . He was never the overly ambitious type of person but still had hope that things would go smooth but the corporate life is not treating him well at all. He has only been 6 months into his new company as a marketing department design section junior staff and life has already become a living hell. With adjusting to the fast paced people around him while still learning about the work and on top of that overly strict and almost borderline harassing seniors. All in all it is not going good. The only way he still enjoys his life is by going to the convenience store near his company office, where his relief is the cashier woman. Her way of talking and her demeanour with her good looks is what our main character likes about her. For the past 5 months he has had a massive crush on her but just doesn’t have the courage to get it out of himself. During on of his overtime days when he was leaving his office at almost 11 pm, all drowsy, he decided to go to convenience store to get his daily dose of energy. While crossing the road still in a half asleep state he almost got hit by a truck when ny pure luck he evaded it by a hair. But just when he was getting back to his senses he felt someone push him back to the busy road and this time he got hit by a speeding car. He woke in a strange place. It was whitish yellow that give off a heavenly glow. Soon he learns that he is dead and is in the waiting room of judgement, place where the dead are judged and sent to either heaven or hell. But unfortunately for our main character his documents have yet not reached the heavenly judgement sector for review. Thus he is a strange case and all the angels are confused about what to do with him. The god has still not replied to the angel’s request about this unusual case so our main character is stuck here in the heavenly judgement department. While here is given free rein to roam around. He notices that this sector is severely understaffed. He decides to ignore it because he does not want to work again in a place like this with too much workload. But due to some unfortunate sequence of cases he is forced to help. He can’t stand it and begs to be returned to the world of the living but that is not allowed as when someone dies that either go to heaven or hell, they cant return. This news is like meteor crash for our main character. But he decides that no matter what he is going back because there is something he has to do. He just doesn’t want to live with regrets anymore. So he decides to work his butt off and find a way to return. . . . return and confess to his crush.
LOGLINE
Main character is fresh out of college and in his new company with the worst environment for six months. Then he dies and goes to heaven and works there for un undefined period of time (maybe 1 to 2 years) years and then returns to earth to fulfil his wish only to be rejected and feeling relieved and returning back to the department of heavenly judgment to officially become an angel and work there.
I would like to know if this kind of setting and theme is something you readers find interesting. i have not read many light novels but am trying to be a writer. i hope to be in your care for the time to come and would love it if you all will help me in this journey. i wish to learn as much as possible and wouls welcome any criticism.
