Chapter Two Middle School -Change in Environment-
I couldn’t help feeling depressed. After I entered middle school, Hanako and Koichi weren’t there. I did make some friends.
“Did you see yesterday’s news? It seems that the politician was illegally receiving money.”
“I thought so. I heard he got arrested and the police is investigating on it.”
Since when do I have friends talking about such serious matters? I longed to play stupido game again.
Since there weren’t many friends I could play with at school, I often played with Kentaro, who lived next door.
“I made a script for a play. Look.”
The title of the play was “Octopus Titanic.” It was a parody of Titanic, and was full of hilarious jokes. The mice ate the iceberg, so the ship that the octopuses were on sank. Two octopuses were the main characters.
I needed to be myself somewhere in order to make it.
I got in the basketball club, but I was afraid of balls. Rather than receiving passes, I avoided them.
I started to have interest in music. I went to karaokes and also to a vocal school.
“When you sing original songs with the piano, it is important for the voice to be concordant with the melody of the piano.” My teacher at the vocal school taught me.
I really loved singing and made many songs. However, I didn’t know much about romance, so I only made songs like “If We Were All Bears.”
