beginning of the journey
This story starts where a small town is mistakenly the middle point between the war of two demon kings.
In the town, there was a family having their dinner. They didn't know that a war was going on outside their house. The couple was so busy watching their newborn baby, Fig.
At that time,no words could express the feelings the parents had seeing their newborn walk for the first time. It was also the first time the father had ever seen his baby.
Father: a normal swordsman in a small town.
Note: he was hunting monsters for a whole year.
Mother: a common housewife waiting for her husband to return (she is a low ranking mage,who acts as the towns healer).
Father: "Ooh, look how our cute one is walking!" (Fig fell down while coming towards his father.) "Hahaha, see how he is crying!" (taking Fig in his hands and sitting down) "Honey, see this? Even while crying, he looks so cute, and you see his sparky eyes? They have gone on you."
Mother: "Did you even wash your hands before touching him?" (Angrily)
Father: "You don't need to worry; I washed my hands. Did you start cooking? Let me help." (While cuddling Fig.)
Mother: "No,just take care of our fig that will be enough help. You have just come back after 1 year of hard work,you don't need to work again. Have some rest and take care of him." (while cutting vegetables).
Father: "Please, don't worry about my health, honey; I am coming to help." (He stands up.)
Mother: "What a caring husband I got! Aah, sometimes I feel he cares way too much!"(She thaught) "Hey, I told you to take care of the baby!" (while showing the knife).
Father: "I got it; I will take care of him. Now, now, don't show the knife." (sat down again).
Fig: "Abbab, aba, abbaaaaa!" (trying to talk for the first time) while showing his cute, sparkling eyes. (ꏿ﹏ꏿ).
Father: "Honey, did our child ever talk?" (in confusion)
Mother: "No, he never talks! I even asked many people for a cure; they all said there is some problem with his tongue."
Father: "A-ha! Honeyyyy, he just talked!" (in pure excitement, he shouted loud).
Mother: "Ah, honey, don't joke now; you just came back! I won't tolerate if you speak lies when you just ca—" (heard Fig's voice). She rushed towards Fig.
Mother: "Oh my baby, did you just talk? Tell mama!" (her eyes were just about to burst into tears).
Fig: "Mo mao ma!" (trying his hardest). And that was the moment when the demons rushed into the house. After entering the house, the demon attacked the father's heart without him even noticing .
Father: "Cough cough cough" (blood coming out of his mouth) "Honey, ru—"
Mother: "Honeeyyyyyy!" (while her eyes were full of tears, her voice was so loud that the other demon started to notice). She took Fig in her hands.(She knew crying won't help her)
The only thing she could do in that situation was to teleport her child, and she desperately teleported him while using the pendant she received as a gift from a knight as a gift for healing him.
Fig was teleported into an unknown forest.
