Les Propheties de Yestradamus

ノストラダムスばりの予言書が続く。読者諸賢は、どうお感じになるだろうか。

Ⅰ(1)A young screamer has desire for the big prize;

And her long-cherished dream will be realized;

A lot of people take it for a surprise;

And a deceptive party will be organized.

　(2)The small China is gonna groan in fear;

　 Another island country is gonna cry in fear and trembling;

　 The big British word will be "There's a dear";

　 And he's gonna give them orders "Come up smiling!"

(3)The theological student in question joins hands with the great Khan;

He dislikes the Khan, but there is no other choice;

The student is gonna defy a gun;

But he can't stave off his hunger with rice.

(4)Frank and Slav are trying to outstare each other;

Each nation has some trouble with all sorts of things;

They cast in their lot with a bother;

Everybody will realize the helplessness of their tongues.

(5)A healthy lady disappeared not long ago;

But a man who wore the scarlet mantle knows where she is;

The British and Frank criticize the man for the tyranny of scarlet motto;

But a greedy baron takes action in aid of Chinese.

(6)A people of the island country felt carefree;

But this country will change into the shore washed by the waves;

No wonder they are as busy as a bee;

The waves threaten to lots of lives.

(7)A modest people goes about with the small China;

The great Khan calls the elegant people "lice";

Another people regrets being mean to Russia;

There are many chilly-looking men like ice.

(8)The great Khan is gonna hold the magnificent ceremony;

But the British and Frank aren't gonna bless him;

There's no way they like tyranny;

Bad and greedy baron is gonna pose for septime.

(9)The new plague is formidable and persistent;

The advanced medicine can't hold it down;

The cowardly people are not intelligent;

Their dwelling is gonna become a ghost town.

(10)Most of the Japanese people prefer novels to poems;

There's no way they enjoy works of Wordsworth;

This cultural history has a few proems;

But those have nothing to do with the poet's worth.
